The gas–liquid two-phaseflow and mass transfer performance of CO2 absorption into 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol (AMP) with ethylene glycol (EG) non-aqueous solution in a microchannel wereinvestigated under different gas–liquid two-phaseflow rates and AMP concentrations. A new correlationwas proposed for accurately predicting the liquid side volumetric mass transfer coefficient by consideringthe enhancement factor. It was verified that the volumetric mass transfer coefficient of CO2 absorption inthe microchannel is obviously higher than that in the traditional macroscopic column. Therefore, withthe usage of microchannel for AMP-EG non-aqueous solution, both low energy consumption and highefficient absorption could be reached.

An innovative application of voltage-contrast (VC) inspection allowed inline detection of NMOS leakage in dense SRAM cells is presented. Cell sizes of SRAM are continual to do the shrinkage with bit density promotion as semiconductor technology advanced, but the resulting challenges include not only development of smaller-scale devices, but also intra-devices isolation. The NMOS leakage caused by the underneath n+/P-well shorted to the adjacent PMOS/N-well was inspected by the proposed electron-beam (e-beam) scan in which VC images were compared during the in-line process step of post contact tungsten (W) CMP (Chemical Mechanical Planarization) instead of end-of-line electrical test, which has a long response time. A series of experiments based on the mechanism for improving the intra-well isolation was performed and verified by the inline VC inspection. An optimal process-integration condition involved to the tradeoff between the implant dosage and photo CD was carried out.
Research on the Surface Defect Detection of Magnetic Sheet for Industrial Manufacture

The research of defect detection technology of magnetic sheet surface has important significance for improvement of production efficiency and product quality in enterprise. A single threshold method is used for binary segmentation of magnetic sheet image in this paper, then the template localization algorithm is used for template position of magnetic sheet image after binary segmentation, the magnetic sheet image with different position should be transformed into a unified coordinate system for detecting, then least square method is used for fitting straight line and fillet edge, then the calculated values are compared with standard value to determine whether are knock edges. Further, the appropriate grayscale threshold is set by the pitting and scratches characteristics of magnetic sheet image, the magnetic sheet image should be segmented according to the determined threshold value, if the defect exists, the defect area or length will be calculated, then the result is compared with standard values to determine whether is pitting or scratches. The final tests of technology in this paper show that the detection rate of knock edge and the detection rate of pitting or scratches are both acceptable.

Vulnerability or masculinity: Examining “Aesthetic Labor” from male fashion models’ perspective

‘Masculinity’ is changing globally. We investigate the adjustments made by Chinese male models as they work in a domain that had previously belonged primarily to women. Using a liminal lens to view the models’ adjustments, the study discovered that they perceive themselves to be subordinated to other participants in the advertising industry: designers, makeup artists, directors, clients, and even female models. While the changing nature of ‘masculinity’ globally has created many more opportunities for male models, we found that the norms of the advertising industry require a major re-invention of the models’ self-perceptions of masculinity.

X-ray diffraction patterns of ε-FeSi have been measured at pressures up to ~53 GPa with good signal-to-noise ratio and high resolution by using synchrotron radiation. In order to refine the crystal structure, a Rietveld analysis has been performed. The structure of ε-FeSi is cubic with space group P213 and a = 4.4781 ± 0.0026 °A. A third-order Birch-Murnaghan equation of state fit to the experimental data yields V0 = 89.80 ± 0.15 °A3, with a B0 of 204.7 ± 4.9 GPa and B'0= 5.6 ± 0.3. The bulk modulus obtained from this study is not only in very good agreement with those of some previous experimental studies but also in good agreement with those obtained from first-principles calculations.
