      • Innovative Technology of Teaching Moodle in Higher Pedagogical Education: from Theory to Pactice

        Relevance. Innovative activities in education should be aimed at ensuring the comprehensive development of the individual and professional development of students. The main idea of modular technology is that the student should learn by himself, and the teacher manages his learning activities. The advantage of modular technology is the ability of the teacher to design the study of the material in the most interesting and accessible forms for this part of the study group and at the same time achieve the best learning results. Innovative Moodle technology. it is gaining popularity every day, significantly expanding the space of teaching and learning, allowing students to study inter-faculty university programs in depth. The purpose of this study is to assess the quality of implementation of the e-learning system Moodle. The study was conducted at the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushinsky in order to identify barriers to the effective implementation of innovative distance learning technologies Moodle and introduce a new model that will have a positive impact on the development of e-learning. Methodology. The paper used a combination of theoretical and empirical research methods. These include: scientific analysis of sources on this issue, which allowed us to formulate the initial provisions of the study; analysis of the results of students 'educational activities; pedagogical experiment; questionnaires; monitoring of students' activities in practical classes. Results. This article evaluates the implementation of the principles of distance learning in the process of teaching and learning at the University in terms of quality. The experiment involved 1,250 students studying at the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushinsky. The survey helped to identify the main barriers to the effective implementation of modern distance learning technologies in the educational process of the University: the lack of readiness of teachers and parents, the lack of necessary skills in applying computer systems of online learning, the inability to interact with the teaching staff and teachers, the lack of a sufficient number of academic consultants online. In addition, internal problems are investigated: limited resources, unevenly distributed marketing advantages, inappropriate administrative structure, and lack of innovative physical capabilities. The article allows us to solve these problems by gradually implementing a distance learning model that is suitable for any university, regardless of its specialization. The Moodle-based e-learning system proposed in this paper was designed to eliminate the identified barriers. Models for implementing distance learning in the learning process were built according to the CAPDM methodology, which helps universities and other educational service providers develop and manage world-class online distance learning programs. Prospects for further research focus on evaluating students' knowledge and abilities over the next six months after the introduction of the proposed Moodle-based program.

        Progressive lysosomal membrane permeabilization induced by iron oxide nanoparticles drives hepatic cell autophagy and apoptosis

        Iron oxide nanoparticles (IONs) are frequently used in various biomedical applications, in particular as magnetic resonance imaging contrast agents in liver imaging. Indeed, number of IONs have been withdrawn due to their poor clinical performance. Yet comprehensive understanding of their interactions with hepatocytes remains relatively limited. Here we investigated how iron oxide nanocubes (IO-cubes) and clusters of nanocubes (IO-clusters) affect distinct human hepatic cell lines. The viability of HepG2, Huh7 and Alexander cells was concentration-dependently decreased after exposure to either IO-cubes or IO-clusters. We found similar cytotoxicity levels in three cell lines triggered by both nanoparticle formulations. Our data indicate that different expression levels of Bcl-2 predispose cell death signaling mediated by nanoparticles. Both nanoparticles induced rather apoptosis than autophagy in HepG2. Contrary, IO-cubes and IO-clusters trigger distinct cell death signaling events in Alexander and Huh7 cells. Our data clarifies the mechanism by which cubic nanoparticles induce autophagic flux and the mechanism of subsequent toxicity. These findings imply that the cytotoxicity of ION-based contrast agents should be carefully considered, particularly in patients with liver diseases.

      • Digital Prostitution: International Legal Experience of Criminalization and Decriminalization

        Legislative approaches to regulating the digital sex industry are increasingly being debated at the international and national levels. There is a trend showing an increased interest in the decriminalization of sex work. At the same time, in many countries, activities related to digital prostitution remain criminalized. In this regard, it is important to analyze the international legal experience of the criminalization and decriminalization of digital prostitution, as well as to pay attention to the key problematic issues that arise during the criminalization and decriminalization of such an issue. The object of the study is the international experience of criminalization and decriminalization of digital prostitution. The subject of the study is social relations that arise, change, and cease during the criminalization and decriminalization of digital prostitution. The research methodology consists of such methods as philosophical, logical, special-legal, system analysis methods, and formal-dogmatic methods. Research results. As a result of the study of the international legal experience of criminalization and decriminalization of digital prostitution, it was concluded that the criminalization and/or decriminalization of digital prostitution is treated differently in different countries. Workers in this industry advocate decriminalization, not legalization, because decriminalization puts power directly in the hands of sex workers and creates no legal barriers. Countries that have decriminalized digital prostitution believe that sex work is real work and should be treated respectfully, and banning resources such as OnlyFans is not in favor of such workers. Regarding positions on the criminalization of prostitution, countries use different models of such criminalization, including the model of legalization of digital prostitution, which, on the one hand, allows prostitution, but establishes criminal liability for deviations from the rules established by the state.

        Manipulation of Domain Wall Dynamics in Microwires by Transverse Magnetic Field

        In this paper we studied effect of transversal magnetic field, magnetoelastic anisotropy and defects on DW dynamics of amorphous microwires. We observed that the viscous single DW region is limited by the samples defects, which determine the threshold between single and multiple domain wall propagation regimes. Manipulating the magnetoelastic energy through application of tensile stress of studied microwires we significantly affect the DW dynamics in magnetically bistable microwires. Under effect of transversal magnetic field, Hb, we observed change of DW dynamics and we were able to create additional DW on the opposite wire end. Changing the Hb we were able to tailor propagation field of this additional DW and observe DW collision in different parts of microwire.

      • The acute and sub-acute toxicity of C<sub>60</sub>/PVP complex in vivo

        The detailed study of acute and sub-acute toxicity of the complex polyvinylpyrrolidon (PVP 20 kDa)-wrapped fullerene $C_{60}$ after intraperitoneal (ip) administration was carried out on adult male Wistar rats. The $LD_{50}$ value of $C_{60}/PVP$ complex was found to be 7, 8 g/kg. In sub-acute study which lasted for 30 days the rats were exposed to daily administration of the complex in the doses of 350 or 700 mg/kg. All animals survived during the study and had no significant changes in clinical signs, organ weight, hematological and biochemical parameters of blood. The electrophysiological properties of myocardium and the excretory function of kidneys remained normal. Histological analysis of liver, kidney and spleen at the end of the study also did not demonstrate toxic alterations. It was thus established that intraperitoneal administration of complex $C_{60}/PVP$ has no toxic effect. These results suggest that $C_{60}/PVP$ has no acute and sub-acute toxicity and is a perspective substance for potential application in biology and medicine.
