        The death of a human person is a biological and natural phenomenon. No one can reject it and nor can it be rejected. Death is the common destiny of humankind. Right understanding of death enables one to appreciate the value and meaning of life a person's death illuminates his life; it is the result of one's life. Therefore to understand the meaning of a person's death, We must reflect on his life seriously, and try understand the events in that life in his relationships with other men and women. The fact that the death of Jesus is one that brought about salvation for mankind is a fundamental principle of christian faith. The salvific significance of Jesus' death is interpreted in the context of the Resurrection witnessed in the faith of the early church. Since his death is also the result of his proclamations and actions, its significance and value can be more clearly grasped through his life in which his person and history were shared with other human beings and God the Father. Because his death took place as an event in public arena, his life can also be understood as that of a public man. Thus the death of Jesus the Nazarene who was crucified by Pontius Pilate, the local consul at the time of Emperor Thberius is seen to be different from other deaths interpreted in religious or secular context. The reason for this is that "the Crucified" is an expression exclusively reserved for the savior in Christianity. In chapter Ⅱ, first we trace the historical stages of Jesus' death if the contexts of the four Gospeis which were formed after the Resurrection. Then we shall try to understand how Jesus understand his own death on the basis of his sayings recorded in Synoptic Gospels. Which namely point to the destiny of a martyred prophet and that of the suffering servant of Yahweh. In chapter Ⅲ, which deals with the significance of Jesus' death, we first consider the soteriological significance which interprets his death as universally salvific. Then we interpret his death in terms of eschatology, considering his actions as mission within the perspective of his future. Finally, an attempt is made to understand th significance of Jesus' death for God and to understand the Being of God in the light of Jesus' death. Considering Jesus' death, we can grasp the meaning of our death and come to understand how we should die.

      • 부스트 컨버터가 결합된 Push-Pull형 고주파 공진인버터에 관한 연구

        This paper describes a Push-Pull type high frequency resonant inverter composed of consolidation of boost converter circuit and resonant inverter circuit. By using a boost converter circuit, the proposed inverter can obtain a twice input voltage of resonant circuit and reduce a secondary turn ratios. Also, by using both switching device of boost-converter and resonant circuit, the number of switching device can be reduced by half. The analysis of the proposed circuit was generally described by using normalized parameter and operating characteristics have been evaluated as to switching frequency and parameters. In the future, this proposed inverter shows that it can be practically used as a power source system for the lighting equipment of discharge lamp, induction heating applications.

        사례관리를 위한 Critical Pathway 개발 : 요추협착증 환자의 융합술

        It is well recognized that case management is required to survive in the rapidly chancing medical environment. One of the case management is the critical pathway(CP) which is assumed to increase the quality of care and at the same time to decrease the length of stay in hospital. The purpose of the study was to develop a CP for the management of patients with postero-lateral fusion for lumbar spinal stenosis. Through review of literature and medical records of patients with spinal stenosis, a pilot CP was designed, including 8 different care components such as medication, laboratory tests assessment etc., from one day before surgery to 6 days of Postoperative care. Every item of the Pilot CP was evaluated by a Panel of experts to test the content validity. The items not agreed on by more than 4 out of 6 experts were deleted or modified to be integrated in the CP. To apply the modified CP to a clinical environment, the items reflecting treatment, medication and lab work were entered into an order communication system(OCS), and doctors and nurses were taught to use the CP. Finally, the development of CP for the patients with posterolateral lumbar fusion was completed after the application and variance analysis of the CP.

        韓國人에서 HumFIBRA/FGA와 D21S11 遺傳座의 對立遺傳子 頻度와 遺傳的 變異의 分析

        Allele-and genotype frequencies of the two short tandem repeat (STR) loci, HumFGA and D21S11, were determined in Korean population(n=196). DNA typing was accomplished by applying fluorescence-labeled PCR products and a differently labeled sequenced allelic ladders, followed by automated analysis using ABI 377 automatic sequencer and GeneScan 2.02 software. Prior to typing, allelic ladder of each locus was constructed with a combination of all alleles occuring from the population sample. A total of 15 alleles and 48 genotypes with the heterozygosity of 0.854 for HumFGA, and 12 alleles and 33 genotypes with the heterozygosity of 0.787 for D21S11 are observed in a population of 196 genetically unrelated individuals. No deviations from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium were observed(p=0.753 for HumFGA, p=0.262 for D21S11). The data presented here (power of discrimination and average power of exclusion) show that both STR Loci, HumFGA and D21S11, are very informative for individualization from criminal evidences, and are also useful for parentage testing.

        螢光像 測定法으로 分析한 HUMACTBP2 遺傳座位에 대한 韓國人의 遺傳的 多樣性과 法醫學的 有用性

        The HUMACTBP2 locus was investigated to collect population genetic data in the Korean population and to evaluate the applicability for the forensic field. An Automatic fluorescent-based sequencer (377 automatic DNA sequencer, ABI) was used to detect amplified fragments of the HUMACTBP2 locus electrophoresed on 4% denaturing polyacrylamide sequencing gels. ACTBP2 allelic ladder consisting of different sizes of 18 alleles was constructed and employed as an internal size standard in combination with a GS-350 size standard for precision of allele-band sizing. By utilizing different fluorescent dyes, both the allelic ladders and samples were able to be analyzed in the same lane by 99% precision of allele-band sizing. Among the Korean population (n=224), 26 alleles in the range of 239-313 bp are determined. Allele No. 6 is found 45 times (0.100) which is mostly frequent, and the rest of allele is distributed with their relative frequency of 0.112-0.100. The comparison between observed and expected numbers of homozygous and heterozygous individuals confirms that ACTBP2 locus is in the state of Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium among the Korean population. The heterozygosity is 0.9389±0.0034(93.89%), and the power of discrimination)PD) and power of exclusion(PEX) are calculated to be 0.991(99.1%) and 0.890(89.0%), respectively, showing the high informativeness for individual identification. Thus, these results mean that the HUMACTBP2 locus can effectively be used for the forensic application.

        한국인에서 다변성 D12S391 유전좌의 집단유전학적 연구

        The hypervariable short tandem repeat(STR) locus D12S391 was investigated in a Korean population. A total of 14 alleles were detected by size under denaturing conditions in 517 unrelated individuals. To confirm all of the alleles detected in a Korean population, a total of 34 fragments were sequenced. Prior to allele designation, we constructed the allelic ladders containing 11 alleles sequenced in this study. Allele 18 is the most common with a frequency of 0.281 in Koreans, and one variant allele 19.3 which have been confirmed by sequencing, was detected. The observed heterozygosity, the power of discrimination (PD), and the mean exclusion chance (MEC) for the locus D12S392 is 0.781, 0.946 and 0.652 , respectively. No deviation from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium was observed in a Korean population (p=0.557). In the 424 meioses in 105 Korean families confirmed using other 17 STR loci, no mutation was detected in locus D12S391. The STR locus D12S391system is useful both for the analysis identification and parternity.

        Analysis of Korea Buncheong ware by Bunjang (White slip) technique

        Bunjang is one of the oldest and the best known traditional pottery technique in the Korean ceramic history, which still remains popular today. This research designed for understanding origin and changing history of Bunjang, Birth of Buncheong ware, Definition of Buncheong ware, process of Bunjang, Texture of clay, Glaze, and firing, form, decorative pattern, technique of Bunjang, CIngredients and Raw material: Proportion of raw materials. Bujang technique that can be called beginning of modern ceramic art in Korea, in this research, we can recognize the aesthetic value of Bujang and how modern ceramic artists are going to take advantage of Bunjang technique for their own use.
