L1-Norm and LMS Based Digital FIR Filters Design Using Evolutionary Algorithms

        Rajasekhar K. 대한전기학회 2024 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.19 No.1

The suggested work in this paper involves the construction of digital flters by utilizing optimization algorithms to compute optimum flter coefcients in such a way that the designed flter's magnitude response is identical to the ideal one. The proposed work takes a nature-inspired approach to optimizing the design of 20th order linear phase fnite impulse response (FIR) based low pass, high pass and band pass flters. This approach involves the cuckoo search optimization algorithm (CSA) and Grasshopper optimization algorithms (GOA) by minimizing the least mean square error function and L1-norm based ones. These GOA and CSA are used to fnd the best possible values for the flter coefcients. The bench mark algorithm to design the FIR flter as Parks–McClellan approach and other recently published optimization algorithms are used to prove the superiority of proposed designs. Compared with PM method, real coded genetic algorithm, Cat swarm, Particle swarm optimization and some hybrid optimization based ones, the proposed design results have been outperform. Moreover, the proposed FIR flters give the best outcome, efectively meeting the target with decreased pass band ripples and higher attenuation in the stop band with a least execution time.

An epidemiological and spatiotemporal analysis to identify high risk areas of malaria in Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh, India, 1999–2015

        Rajasekhar Mopuri,Srinivasa Rao Mutheneni,Sriram Kumaraswamy,Madhusudhan Rao Kadiri,Suryanarayana Murty Upadhyayula,Suchithra Naish 대한공간정보학회 2019 Spatial Information Research Vol.27 No.6

Malaria is a major public health problem in Vishakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh, India. To understand malaria prevalence a retrospective surveillance study was conducted in the district from 1995 to 2015. A total of 204,229 malaria cases were reported from 1999 to 2015. Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium vivax are the major parasites that accounted for 66.8% and 33.2% of the total cases. Tribal population (67%) affected more than the coastal population (33%). Similarly, males were affected (56%) more than female (44%) populace and the highest prevalence was observed in[15 years age group (83.74%). The spatial analysis reveals that the distribution of malaria is having high spatial autocorrelation (0.231 to 0.493) and scan statistics declare that the malaria cases were significantly clustered in spatial, temporal and spatiotemporal distribution. The most likely spatiotemporal cluster of malaria (LLR = 26,562.24, RR = 6.62, P\0.001) occurred in the Northern part of the district covering 11 mandals with the time frame from April 2010 to September 2015. The results confirm that the presence of spatial and space–time clusters concentrated in the North and North-eastern region of the district, which contribute for better understanding of disease spreading dynamics in high-risk areas for future malaria prevention and control.

Cloning of fatty acid desaturase-coding sequence (Lufad3) from flax and its functional validation in rice

        Rajasekhar Urla,P. Pavan Kumar,Prabhakar Sripadi,Venkateswara Rao Khareedu,Dashavantha Reddy Vudem 한국식물생명공학회 2017 Plant biotechnology reports Vol.11 No.5

Flax contains very high levels of alpha-linolenic acid (57%) and a fatty acid desaturase 3-coding sequence (Lufad3) of flax has been amplified from the RNA isolated from developing seeds. The deduced amino acid sequence of LuFAD3 showed the presence of three histidine motifs, six membrane spanning domains and an endoplasmic reticulum (ER) retention signal KSK, indicating its plausible localization into the ER. Flax is not amenable for genetic transformation and not suitable for functional validation of Lufad3 gene. Hence, rice with well-developed genetic transformation has been selected as heterologous host system. Coding sequence of Lufad3 driven by maize Ubi1 promoter has been introduced into indica rice by Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated genetic transformation. Southern analysis of putative transformants (T0) revealed signals at variable lengths at [5 kbp indicating random integration of transgene into the genomes of different transformants. The Mendelian segregation observed for selectable marker gene hyg in both T1 and T2 generations confirmed stable inheritance and single-site integration of transgenes. As compared to untransformed control (UC), homozygous transgenic rice expressing Lufad3 showed higher levels of essential a-linolenic acid in leaves and seeds validating its functionality.

      • Detecting Stress Based Social Network Interactions Using Machine Learning Techniques

S.Rajasekhar,K.Ishthaq Ahmed International Journal of Computer ScienceNetwork S 2023 International journal of computer science and netw Vol.23 No.8

In this busy world actually stress is continuously grow up in research and monitoring social websites. The social interaction is a process by which people act and react in relation with each other like play, fight, dance we can find social interactions. In this we find social structure means maintain the relationships among peoples and group of peoples. Its a limit and depends on its behavior. Because relationships established on expectations of every one involve depending on social network. There is lot of difference between emotional pain and physical pain. When you feel stress on physical body we all feel with tensions, stress on physical consequences, physical effects on our health. When we work on social network websites, developments or any research related information retrieving etc. our brain is going into stress. Actually by social network interactions like watching movies, online shopping, online marketing, online business here we observe sentiment analysis of movie reviews and feedback of customers either positive/negative. In movies there we can observe peoples reaction with each other it depends on actions in film like fights, dances, dialogues, content. Here we can analysis of stress on brain different actions of movie reviews. All these movie review analysis and stress on brain can calculated by machine learning techniques. Actually in target oriented business, the persons who are working in marketing always their brain in stress condition their emotional conditions are different at different times. In this paper how does brain deal with stress management. In software industries when developers are work at home, connected with clients in online work they gone under stress. And their emotional levels and stress levels always changes regarding work communication. In this paper we represent emotional intelligence with stress based analysis using machine learning techniques in social networks. It is ability of the person to be aware on your own emotions or feeling as well as feelings or emotions of the others use this awareness to manage self and your relationships. social interactions is not only about you its about every one can interacting and their expectations too. It about maintaining performance. Performance is sociological understanding how people can interact and a key to know analysis of social interactions. It is always to maintain successful interactions and inline expectations. That is to satisfy the audience. So people careful to control all of these and maintain impression management.

      • Multi-response optimization for milling AISI 304 Stainless steel using GRA and DFA

        Naresh, N.,Rajasekhar, K. Techno-Press 2016 Advances in materials research Vol.5 No.2

The objective of the present work is to optimize process parameters namely, cutting speed, feed rate, and depth of cut in milling of AISI 304 stainless steel. In this work, experiments were carried out as per the Taguchi experimental design and an $L_{27}$ orthogonal array was used to study the influence of various combinations of process parameters on surface roughness (Ra) and material removal rate (MRR). As a dynamic approach, the multiple response optimization was carried out using grey relational analysis (GRA) and desirability function analysis (DFA) for simultaneous evaluation. These two methods are considered in optimization, as both are multiple criteria evaluation and not much complicated. The optimum process parameters found to be cutting speed at 63 m/min, feed rate at 600 mm/min, and depth of cut at 0.8 mm. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) was employed to classify the significant parameters affecting the responses. The results indicate that depth of cut is the most significant parameter affecting multiple response characteristics of GFRP composites followed by feed rate and cutting speed. The experimental results for the optimal setting show that there is considerable improvement in the process.

Pre-emptive analgesic efficacy of injected ketorolac in comparison to other agents for third molar surgical removal: a systematic review

Tirupathi, Sunnypriyatham,Rajasekhar, Srinitya,Maloth, Sardhar Singh,Arya, Aishwarya,Tummalakomma, Pushpalatha,Lanke, Rama Brahman The Korean Dental Society of Anesthsiology 2021 Journal of Dental Anesthesia and Pain Medicine Vol.21 No.1

This study aimed to evaluate and compare the pre-emptive analgesic efficacy of injected ketorolac to that of other agents for impacted third molar surgical removal in a healthy population. PubMed, Ovid SP, Cochrane databases were filtered from 1980 to July 2020 for potential papers using relevant MeSH terms and pre-specified inclusion and exclusion criteria independently by reviewers. Studies that compared pre-emptive intramuscular or intravenous administration of ketorolac to other agents were evaluated. The outcomes sought were self-reported postoperative pain (patient-perceived pain), median duration for rescue analgesic medication, total number of analgesics consumed in the recovery period, and global assessment (overall patient satisfaction) after the recovery period. Six studies were included in the final evaluation. The outcome of pain perception and the number of analgesics taken were significantly lower in the ketorolac group (intramuscular or intravenous) in most of the studies (n=5) than in the group of other drugs. The mean time for rescue analgesia intake was higher for the ketorolac group, and global assessment scores were also better in the ketorolac group. Although the included studies show significantly better outcomes such as postoperative pain, median time taken for rescue medication, total number of analgesics taken, and overall patient satisfaction with injected ketorolac group in comparison to injected diclofenac, dexamethasone, and tramadol, definitive conclusions cannot be made regarding the superiority of injected Ketorolac as a pre-emptive agent. A greater number of randomized control trials with a proper protocol are needed to make definitive conclusions.
