These days many informations are delivered through web by the development of internet. But those are delivered only limited informations by two dimensional informations. Recently three dimensional virtual reality is applied to many parts in order to overcome these points. The development of virtual reality technology based on web shows several possibilities through design department. The three dimension virtual reality model which can help good understandings through design development process and presentation. Also it can be used as a tool of decision making. So I classified the virtual reality into the modeling based virtual reality, surveyed the characters and the application cases of them, and compared the characters of them. And I'm going to discuss the utility of virtual reality technology based on modeling through environmental and interior design department.
신생아 제대혈에 있어서 Alphafetoprotein 치와 Bilirubin 치에 관한 연구

Alpha-fetoprotein(AFP) is a major plasma protein synthesized by the fetal liver, york sac, and gastrointestinal tract. There were many reports that elevated AFP levels in maternal serum and amniotic fluid have been associated with fetal distress and intrauterine fetal death, and recent studies demonstrates a high association between elevated AFP levels in maternal serum and umbilical cord blood and subsequent neonatal jaundice in normal healthy fullterm infants. To investigates the relationship between serum AFP and bilirubin levels of the newborn infants, the authors determind maternal serum and umbilical cord blood AFP concentration in 26 cases of normal healthy fullterm infants and their mothers, The serum AFP levels were measured by the method of enzyme immunoassay(AFP-EIA kit, USA) The results observed are summerized as follows: 1. The mean serum AFP levels of the newborn infants and their mothers were 27227.285ng/㎖ and 161.09ng/㎖, respectively and there was significant correlation between serum AFP levels of the newborn infants and their mothers, (Y= 14.598x+25646.955, r=0.1627, P<0.1627, p<0.005) 2. The mean serum AFP levels of the mothers and mean serum bilinibin levels of the newborn infants were 161.09ng/㎖ and 1.19ng/㎖, respectively and there was significant correlation between serum APP levels of the mothers and serum bilirubin levels of the newborn infants (Y=0.000032x+0.2831, r=0. 272491, P<0.005)

Previous studies found that mealworm fermentation extract (TMP) reduced alcoholic hepatic steatogenesis. This study examined how the ratio of TMP and soy protein (SP) mix affected glucose and lipid metabolism in obese mice given a high-fat diet (HFD). Mice were given HFD supplemented with 100% SP or the following three ratios of TMP and SP mix for 12 weeks: 20% (S4T1), 40% (S3T2), and 60% (S2T3) TMP. When compared to the SP group, the S2T3 group had considerably lower body weight gain and food consumption. When compared to the SP group, the S2T3 group had slightly lower blood insulin and leptin levels, as well as a lower homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance score. The use of TMP instead of SP reduced the size of epididymal adipose tissue cells. An increase in the extent of substitution of SP with TMP inhibited the gene expression of hepatic fructolysis/gluconeogenesis (KHK, ALDOB, DLD, and FBP1), lipogenesis (FAS, SCD1, CD36, and DGAT2), and its transcriptional factors (PPAR and ChREBP). Furthermore, the S2T3 group dramatically reduced the expression of hepatic genes implicated in endoplasmic reticulum stress (PDI) and antioxidant defense (SOD1). The 60% TMP mix, in particular, reduced the expression of hepatic glucose and lipid metabolism-related genes in HFD-fed mice. The manufacturing of functional processed goods may be accomplished by combining SP and TMP in a 2:3 ratio.

Purpose: Management of appendicitis in children has always been an issue in pediatric surgery. Both diagnostic methods and treatment vary significantly among medical centers, and little consensus exists in many aspects of the care for patients with appendicitis. Here, we assessed the value of drain insertion after appendectomy in children. Methods: This study is a retrospective review of pediatric patients who underwent appendectomy for perforated appendicitis at a tertiary medical center between 2003 and 2012. Patients who had a peritoneal drain inserted after appendectomy were compared with patients without drains regarding preoperative features and postoperative outcomes. Statistical analyses included a 2-tailed Student t-test and a chi-square or Fisher exact test. Results: In total, 958 patients were reviewed. Of 342 patients with perforated appendicitis, 108 (31.6%) had Jackson-Pratt (JP) drains inserted. The JP group had a longer hospital stay compared with the non-JP group (6.38 ± 3.59 days vs. 3.87 ± 2.38 days, P < 0.001). The JP group also had higher complication rates (22.2% vs. 6.8%, P = 0.003), including the formation of intra-abdominal abscesses. Conclusion: According to our results, there seems to be little evidence to support peritoneal drain insertion after appendectomy, even in perforated appendicitis cases.

Thamnolia vermicularis (TV) is an edible lichen that is prevalent in the alpine zone of East Asia. This study evaluated the feasibility of using TV acetone extracts as a functional food based on experiments using cell line and obese mice. The cellular triglyceride levels and Oil red O staining of 3T3-L1 cells indicated that TV extracts (5 and 10 μg/mL) dose-dependently suppressed adipocyte differentiation and lipid accumulation compared with the control. The TV extract (0.4%, w/w) in a high-fat diet (HFD) was supplemented to C57BL/6N mice for 12 weeks, and TV extract supplement significantly reduced visceral fat mass and body weight compared with HFD feeding alone. The TV extract also induced significant decreases in serum and hepatic lipids, whereas it increased the serum high-density lipoproteins-cholesterol/total cholesterol ratio and fecal lipids levels. Moreover, the TV extract led to significantly lower homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance in diet-induced obese mice. Taken together, these results suggest that the TV extract may have anti- obesity effects, including lipid-lowering, and it is a natural resource with the potential for use in obesity management.
