Research of ASW‑FCM‑Based Algorithm for Clustered Wind Turbine Group Equivalent Modeling

        Mudan Li,Yinsong Wang,Qunli Sun,Yanyan Liu 대한전기학회 2020 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.15 No.4

A new dynamic equivalent modeling method for a wind farm composed of direct-drive wind turbines is proposed. Firstly, the efective input wind speed is calculated considering the wake efect and wind direction change between wind turbines, the operating characteristics is analyzed, the efective wind speed, rotor speed, pitch angle and output power that refect the wind turbine operating characteristics are selected as the multi-grouping indicators. Secondly, an adaptive sample weighting fuzzy C-means clustering algorithm (ASW-FCM) considering the diferences and correlations among turbines operating conditions is designed to cluster the wind farm optimally. Then the equivalent model of the clustered wind turbine group is established based on the principle that the output characteristics before and after the equivalence are equal. Finally, an actual wind farm system is used as an example for modeling and simulation to verify the rationality and accuracy of the equivalent modeling method.

Stochastic Modeling and Synthesis of Near-Fault Forward-Directivity Ground Motions

Tong Zhou,Ai-QunLi 대한토목학회 2020 KSCE JOURNAL OF CIVIL ENGINEERING Vol.24 No.2

The stochastic modeling and synthesis of near-fault forward-directivity ground motions for the prescribed seismic scenario is presented in this study. This stochastic model, which is established in the orientation of the strongest pulse, combines the directivity pulse component represented by the Gabor wavelet pulse model and the high-frequency component characterized by the modulated filtered white noise model. In this regard, the pulse feature, evolutionary intensity and frequency contents are reasonably considered. Then, the empirical predictive equations that relate the parameters of the proposed stochastic model to the variables that describe earthquake source, path, site conditions, and near-fault rupture-to-source geometry are developed based on both regression and correlation analysis. The basic procedure for the synthesis of possible forward-directivity ground motions under the prescribed seismic scenario is provided as well. The efficacy of the stochastic model and the simulation procedure is confirmed by comparing the simulated motions with the recorded ones in terms of time-series and response spectra values, which indicate that the synthetic ground motions are capable of reproducing the salient characteristics, as well as the natural variability, of the recorded ones. Therefore, the proposed stochastic modeling and simulation method is expected to be a desirable alternative and complement for recorded ground motions in the near-fault seismic risk assessment.

The Breed and Sex Effect on the Carcass Size Performance and Meat Quality of Yak in Different Muscles

        Zhang, Li,Sun, Baozhong,Yu, Qunli,Ji, Qiumei,Xie, Peng,Li, Haipeng,Wang, Li,Zhou, Yuchun,Li, Yongpeng,Huang, Caixia,Liu, Xuan Korean Society for Food Science of Animal Resource 2016 한국축산식품학회지 Vol.36 No.2

The carcass size performances and the meat quality of Gannan and Sibu yak were determined using M. supraspinatus (SU), M. longissimus thoracis (LT) and M.quadriceps femoris (QF). It is found that Sibu yak had significantly higher carcass weight (CW) than Gannan yak with difference of nearly 40 kg, as well as significantly higher eye muscle area (EMA), carcass thorax depth (CTD), round perimeter (RP), etc. The carcass performances of steer yak were significantly higher than heifer yak except meat thickness at round (MTR) (p<0.05). The results show that both yak breed and gender had significant effects on carcass performances. It could be seen that the variation of carcass size performances from breeds is as large as from gender (50.22% and 46.25% of total variation, respectively) through principal component analysis (PCA). Sibu yak had significantly higher L*, b*, WBSF, cooking loss and Fat content, while Gannan yak had significantly higher a*, press loss, protein content and moisture (p<0.05). Yak gender and muscle had insignificant effects on meat colour and water holding capacity (p>0.05). The variation of meat quality of yak from breed is up to 59.46% of total variation according to PCA. It is shown that the difference between breeds, for Gannan yak and Sibu yak, plays an important role in carcass size performance and meat quality.

The Application of Atmospheric Plasma for Cotton Fabric Desizing

        Xuemei Wang,Hongmei Zhao,Fuxing Chen,Xin Ning,Shaojuan Chen,Qunli Guan,Shouxiang Jiang,Dagang Miao 한국섬유공학회 2019 Fibers and polymers Vol.20 No.11

Production process of cotton fabric involves numerous water and chemical consumptions, causing serious energywaste and environmental problem. In this study, a waterless atmospheric plasma treatment (APT) was applied on cottonfabric to desize the starch coated in the weaving process. Plasma parameters, i.e., plasma voltage, plasma duty cycle andoxygen flow rate, are varied in order to systematically evaluate their influence on fabric physical properties such as theimpurity removal, whiteness, capillary effect, tensile strength and breaking elongation of fabric. Optimal plasma parametersfor oxygen APT were determined, with plasma voltage of 320 V, plasma duty cycle of 60 % and oxygen flow rate of 1000 l/h. The APT desizing method attained comparable fabric performances with the traditional amylase desizing method. The resultswere further supported by the scanning electron microscope (SEM) and Fourier transfer infrared spectroscopy (FTIR)investigations.

Effects of Free Anthraquinones Extract from the Rhubarb on Cell Proliferation and Accumulation of Extracellular Matrix in High Glucose Cultured-Mesangial Cells

        Wang, Jianyun,Fang, Hui,Dong, Bingzheng,Wang, Dongdong,Li, Yan,Chen, Xiao,Chen, Lijuan,Wei, Tong,Wei, Qunli The Korean Society of Pharmacology 2015 The Korean Journal of Physiology & Pharmacology Vol.19 No.6

Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is the leading cause of end-stage failure of the kidney, but the efficacy of currently available strategies for the prevention of DN remains unsatisfactory. In this study, we investigated the effects of free anthraquinones (FARs) extract, which was extracted from the rhubarb and purified by macroporous resin DM130 with gradient mixtures of ethanol/water as the lelution solvents, in high glucose-cultured glomerular mesangial cells (MCs). The cell proliferation was determined by CCK-8 assay, the levels of TGF-${\beta}1$, CTGF, ColIV and FN proteins in the supernatant of MCs were measured by ELISA assays, and the mRNA levels of these four genes were detected by RT-PCR. The results showed that the increased proliferation of MCs, the mRNA levels and protein expression of TGF-${\beta}1$, CTGF, ColIV and FN induced by high glucose were inhibited after the treatment with the FARs extract. This indicated that FARs extract could inhibit cell proliferation and the expression of main extracellular matrix induced by high glucose in MCs. The FARs extract exhibited potential values for prophylaxis and therapy of DN.

Price-based Resource Allocation for Virtualized Cognitive Radio Networks

( Qun Li ),( Ding Xu ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2016 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.10 No.10

We consider a virtualized cognitive radio (CR) network, where multiple virtual network operators (VNOs) who own different virtual cognitive base stations (VCBSs) share the same physical CBS (PCBS) which is owned by an infrastructure provider (InP), sharing the spectrum with the primary user (PU). The uplink scenario is considered where the secondary users (SUs) transmit to the VCBSs. The PU is protected by constraining the interference power from the SUs. Such constraint is applied by the InP through pricing the interference. A Stackelberg game is formulated to jointly maximize the revenue of the InP and the individual utilities of the VNOs, and then the Stackelberg equilibrium is investigated. Specifically, the optimal interference price and channel allocation for the VNOs to maximize the revenue of the InP and the optimal power allocation for the SUs to maximize the individual utilities of the VNOs are derived. In addition, a low-complexity ±-optimal solution is also proposed for obtaining the interference price and channel allocation for the VNOs. Simulations are provided to verify the proposed strategies. It is shown that the proposed strategies are effective in resource allocation and the ±-optimal strategy achieves practically the same performance as the optimal strategy can achieve. It is also shown that the InP will not benefit from a large interference power limit, and selecting VNOs with higher unit rate utility gain to share the resources of the InP is beneficial to both the InP and the VNOs.

Interaction between Warfarin and the Herbal Product Shengmai-Yin: A Case Report of Intracerebral Hematoma

Qun Su,Yuhong Li 연세대학교의과대학 2010 Yonsei medical journal Vol.51 No.5

A 71-year-old man was stable on warfarin (2.25 mg daily) therapy with an international normalized ratio (INR) of 1.8-2.2 after a heart valve replacement surgery. Recently, he consumed the liquid-like herbal product called shengmai-yin (10 mL daily) against medical advice. Seven days after the daily consumption of shengmai-yin, he was admitted to the intensive care unit because of consciousness disturbance [Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score 7] with an INR of 5.08. Head computed topography revealed intracerebral hematoma in the left temporoparietal region. Both warfarin therapy and the herbal product were withdrawn. At the same time, therapy with intravenous vitamin K1 40 mg was started. On the second day of admission, craniectomy was performed to remove the intacerebral hematoma under general anesthesia. He remained confused and restless for 2 days, but then showed progressive recovery in the consciousness level as well as motor and verbal functions. Shengmai-yin contains herbal ingredients that can interact with warfarin. The Drug Interaction Probability Scale (DIPS) indicated that warfarin and shengmai-yin were highly probable causes of intracerebral hematoma. Patients on warfarin therapy should be discouraged from taking herbal medicines, especially preparations that are already known to have antiplatelet and antithrombotic effects.
