Zinc oxide (ZnO) nanorods (NRs) have been synthesized as a template to fabricate TiO2 nanotubes (TiNTs) on hemispherical diamond film by liquid-phase deposition (LPD) method. The process concerning the formation of TiNTs was analyzed. Based on the results of XRD and Raman spectroscopy, it is demonstrated that TiNTs was successfully obtained after removing ZnO NRs by chemical etching at room temperature. The TiNTs on hemispherical diamond film show higher performance photocatalysis, examined by the degradation of the reactive yellow 15(RY15) solution. The corresponding mechanism is discussed.
Globalization and Co-opetition : Modern Marketing Philosophies in the Internet Age
Qiliang SHI,Chung Weon YOON,Wanpeng CHENG 전북대학교 산업경제연구소 2009 아태경상저널 Vol.1 No.2
E-business is defined as "the continuous optimization of a firm's business activities through digital technology", But without correct philosophies or concepts to guide the business activities and operations in the Internet age, neither the business nor the technology would go as far as they should. The Internet has brought us various opportunities while setting up great challenges. This paper is to talk about two modem marketing philosophies - globalization and co-opetition, with which we cope with the challenges we are confronted with.
On Hilbert-type Integral Inequalities with the Homogenous Kernel of -4-degree
Huang, Qiliang,He, Bing Department of Mathematics 2009 Kyungpook mathematical journal Vol.49 No.3
In this paper, by introducing a homogenous kernel of -4-degree, we establish a new Hilbert-type integral inequality with multi-parameter and a best constant factor. As applications, the equivalent form, the reverse forms and some particular results are given correspondingly.

Effects of nitrate, aqueous ethanol co-solvent, humic substance, and elapsed time on TCE DNAPL removal using NZVI were studied by direct visualization. The removal efficiency was then quantified by directly measuring the remaining TCE DNAPL blobs area using an image analyzer. As ethanol content of co-solvent increased, TCE DNAPL removal by NZVI was also increased implying sequential TCE DNAPL removal mechanisms: as dissolved TCE was degraded by NZVI, TCE dissolution from TCE blobs would be then facilitated and the TCE blob areas would be eventually reduced. The presence of nitrate and humic substance hindered the NZVI reactivity for the TCE DNAPL removal. In contrast, the TCE DNAPL removal efficiency was enhanced using bimetallic nanoparticles in a short-term reaction by generating atomic hydrogen for catalytic hydro-dechlorination. However, all TCE DNAPL removal efficiencies reached the same level after long-term reaction using both NZVI and bimetallic nanoparticles. Direct TCE DNAPL observation clearly implied that TCE blobs existed for long time even though all TCE blobs were fully exposed to NZVI and bimetallic nanoparticles.</P>
Unbalanced Development of Asian Economies under the Net-based Environment
Shi Qiliang,Li Haohao,Guo Jianquan 한국무역학회 2006 國際學術大會 論文集 Vol.2006 No.12
Digital gap is enclosed in the development of net-based economy and e-Business, and there is no departure of the cultivation of e-Business from the establishment of regional advantages. The traditional theory of the regional advantages has come across a serious impact from the Internet. So the development of Internet infrastructures and institutional environment would be something new to the theory of regional advantages in the Internet era.

This article focuses on the coverage of the elopement of Huang Huiru and Lu Genrong in the late 1920s to examine Chinese newspapers' sensationalist and didactic approaches in handling social news. The Chinese press resorted to sensational news to garner profits, but insisted on investing such news with social significance so as to assume its role as the educator of the populace. Chinese newspapers' dual approaches resulted from both the commercialization of the Chinese news industry in the late 1920s and the Nationalist Party's (KMT) tightening control over society in the wake of its rise to power in 1927. When commenting on the Huang-Lu elopement, Chinese liberal and progressive intellectuals called for the restoration of family values and rejected the May Fourth concept of "free love." This article thus argues that the KMT's conservatism in the late 1920s and early 1930s was built on a consensus of social liberals and progressives.
Sorption and desorption kinetics of PAHs in coastal sediment
신원식,오상화,Qiliang Wang,송동익 한국화학공학회 2013 Korean Journal of Chemical Engineering Vol.30 No.1
Sorption and desorption kinetics of PAHs (naphthalene, phenanthrene and pyrene) in coastal sediment were investigated. Several kinetic models were used to analyze the kinetics: one-site mass transfer model (OSMTM),pseudo-first-order kinetic model (PFOKM), pseudo-second-order kinetic model (PSOKM), two compartment firstorder kinetic model (TCFOKM) and modified two compartment first-order kinetic model (MTCFOKM). Among the models, the MTCFOKM was the best in fitting both sorption and desorption kinetic data, and therefore could predict the most accurately. In MTCFOKM, the fast sorption fraction (f'1, s) increased with the hydrophobicity (Kow) of the PAHs,whereas the fast desorption fraction (f '1, d) decreased. The fast sorption rate constant (k'1, s) was much greater than the slow sorption rate constant (k'2, s). Effect of aging on the desorption kinetics was also analyzed. The f '1, d in MTCFOKM decreased but the slow desorption fraction (f '2, d) increased with aging, indicating that slow desorption is directly related to aging.
Tomboy: New Womanhood, Stardom, and Chinese Cinema in the 1930s
Wangli HUANG,Qiliang HE 성균관대학교 동아시아학술원 2020 Sungkyun Journal of East Asian Studies Vol.20 No.2
This article explores Tomboy (Huashen guniang 化身姑娘, 1936), arguably one of the most viewed films in China in the mid-1930s, and Yuan Meiyun’s 袁美雲 (1917–1999) stardom in prewar Shanghai. Tomboy’s popularity was a testimony to the rise of female stardom and female fandom in this decade. The 1930s also saw both the final triumph of the rally for women’s rights since the May Fourth period and the Nationalist Party’s pro-family, anti-woman backlash. Tomboy catapulted Yuan Meiyun to superstardom in the context of the cacophonous debates on new femininity in China in the relatively conservative mid-1930s. This article thus argues that because Yuan Meiyun exemplified a new type of woman who was modern, attractive, and independent but exempted herself from modern life’s vices and hedonism, her eclectic womanhood both on the screen and in the media narrative gained widespread acclaim and thereby contributed to her success as a film star.
