        Mechanical behavior of FRP confined steel tubular columns under impact

        This paper presents experimental and analytical results of fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) confined steel tubular columns under transverse impact loads. Influences of applied impact energy, thickness of FRP jacket and impact position were discussed in detail, and then the impact responses of FRP confined steel tubes were compared with bare steel tubes. The test results revealed that the FRP jacket contributes to prevent outward buckling deformation of steel at the clamped end and inward buckling of steel at the impact position. For the given applied impact energy, specimens wrapped with one layer and three layers of FRP have the lower peak impact loads than those of the bare steel tubes, whereas specimens wrapped with five layers of FRP exhibit the higher peak impact loads. All the FRP confined steel tubular specimens displayed a longer duration time than the bare steel tubes under the same magnitude of impact energy, and the specimen wrapped with one layer of FRP had the longest duration time. In addition, increasing the applied impact energy leads to the increase of peak impact load and duration time, whereas increasing the distance of impact position from the clamped end results in the decrease of peak impact load and the increase of duration time. The dynamic analysis software Abaqus Explicit was used to simulate the mechanical behavior of FRP confined steel tubular columns, and the numerical results agreed well with the test data. Analytical solution for lateral displacement of an equivalent cantilever beam model subjected to impact load was derived out. Comparison of analytical and experimental results shows that the maximum displacement can be precisely predicted by the present theoretical model.

        Assembly precision prediction for planar closed-loop mechanism in view of joint clearance and redundant constraint

        The assembly process for planar closed-loop mechanisms is full of complexity and uncertainty due to joint clearance, link coupling and probable redundant constraint. In order to ensure assembly precision, an algorithm of predicting accuracy for planar closed-loop mechanisms in view of joint clearance and redundant constraint is proposed. Firstly by analyzing the assembly process of a planar fivebar closed-loop mechanism, three components of single-fixed, two-connected and redundant-inserted links are proposed to describe the assembly process of arbitrary planar closed-loop mechanisms which is regarded as successive stacking of those components. Then error models of those components are established based on the linear kinematics and principle of virtual work. Subsequently, an algorithm of precision prediction for planar closed-loop mechanisms is constructed by combining those error models. Finally the extendible support structure of the SAR antenna is used as the numerical example to verify the validity and generality of the proposed algorithm.

        The tremendous progress of computer and IT techonology enables people to communicate and exchange information with other people in the internet by new means of two-way communication. Many useful websites in the cyber space help users to access valuable information beyond time and space limitations. And the function and role of website become more important, as time goes by. Therefore, it is very important to evaluate and improve, continuouosly our website to be purpose. And moreover the proper evaluation of websites also suggest some effective and efficient methods regarding website improvement. A website can be evaluated with many factors affecting the degree of the wensite such as information quality, usability, user interface, navigation, and so on, naturally considering its objectives or specific goals. Many previous studies show that these website evaluation factors will influence the user satisfation and revist to the website. This study selected design elements in web page to look for more effective web page design proposal, at the same time analyzed different performing forms of contents, and this reaserch was done based on evaluation elements of existing page .Layout ,which is most basal, is more effective and easier to be interpreted by users, compared the Compared to the In-depth Study about visual-communication vehicle like Icon, Avata, Illustration and so on.

        광고 크리에이티브와 광고서사에 관한 연구

        현대의 소비자들의 관심을 얻고 소비를 이루기 위해서는 차별화 된 광고 전략이 요구되고, 이러한 차별화 방법으로 서사는 중요한 전략 중에 하나임에도 불구하고 광고서사 차별화를 입체적으로 연구하기 위한 비교연구는 상대적으로 많지 않다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 첫째, 광고서사 일관성을 유지하는 구조, 둘째, 기업 간의 광고 서사를 어떻게 차별화, 셋째, 기업 내의 차별화된 광고 서사, 넷째, 광고의 메시지와 광고 서사를 연구하여 광고 크리에이티브의 제고하는 대안으로의 가능성을 제시함을 목적으로 한다. 연구대상은 다른 매체에 비해 서사성이 강한 TV커머셜을 중심으로 2008-2011년에 제작된 동아제약 박카스·모닝케어, 광동제약 비타500?옥수수 수염차, 그리고 보건복지부 ’금연‘공익광고를 대상으로 교차비교 연구한다. 분석방법은 시간을 기준으로 내용의 진행상황, 브랜드 노출에 대한 분석으로 서사구조에서 접근방식을 분석하였다. 연구결과 다음과 같은 결론에 도달할 수 있었다. 첫째, 서사가 각각의 광고물의 동질성을 확인할 수 있는 정도인 것으로 파악되어 광고 서사를 광고 크리에이티브 전략이라는 인식이 필요하며, 둘째, 광고서사는 동일한 속성, 카테고리의 제품광고에서도 현격한 차이를 보이고 있으며, 셋째, 기업의 광고 서사는 차별화되어 있기는 하지만 느슨한 관계를 유지한다고 결론에 도달했다고 할 수 있다. 넷째, 공공의 이익을 목적으로 하는 캠페인성 광고의 서사는 기업의 제품광고에 비해 기승전결의 고전적인 서사구조를 가지고 있었으며 이는 공익광고 성격의 캠페인이 교육·정보제공(to teach, to inform)의 기능을 한다면 기업의 광고는 설득(to persuade)이 주요 기능이기 때문인 것으로 추정할 수 있다. 본 연구는 이론적으로만 연구하여 객관성을 확보하지 못했다는 한계성을 지니고 있으며 이에 대한 향후연구가 필요하다. 또한 광고누적효과의 또 다른 변인 광고량, 메시지의 질, 관여도, 학습 정도, 노출량, 광고혼잡 정도, 마케팅 활등과의 연계된 연구가 필요하다. Nowadays, the needs of differentiated advertising strategies are necessary for getting customers’ interest to meet the consumption. Although advertising narration is one of important differentiated strategies, comparative study is not so many for advertising narration differentiation studies. The purpose of this study is proposing one creative improved advertising alternative for advertising message and narration through solving four problems: firstly, The structure to keep consistency of advertising narration; secondly, the differentiated advertising narration among different companies; thirdly, differentiated advertising narration in one company. Here the author chose the strong narrative TV commercial advertising that producted from 2008 to 2011 as the research subjects, and the productions were : “Bacchus” and “Morning-care”(Dong-A Pharmaceutical), “Vita 500” Corn Silk Tea( Kwang Dong Pharmaceutical) and anti-smoking advertising (Ministry of Health and Welfare). The analysis method was that analyzed the approach method of narration structure through researching the brand development by selecting time as the basis. For the conclusion, firstly, it is necessary for us to recognize the importance of advertising narration creative strategies after holding the consistency of advertising; secondly, we could see the wide difference in the advertising although the attributes and categories of narration are same; thirdly, although there are same difference in companies’ advertising narration, the slack relationship could also be seen; fourthly, for public advertising has the transition narrative structure comparing with the production advertising, and the function of public advertising is teaching and providing information, and the function of company advertising is persuading.

        Research on the Application of Beijing Opera Character Modeling in Children's Picture Books

        Children's understanding and inheritance of traditional Chinese culture and innovation of Chinese children's picture book art form are of great significance to carry forward traditional culture and strengthen confidence in Chinese culture. As an excellent traditional Chinese opera art, Beijing Opera has an indispensable cultural status. The purpose of this study was to determine cognitive needs of children in view of simplified display form of children's picture books in China through decomposition, extraction, reconstruction, and integration of the Peking Opera character modeling elements, the use of modern design concepts, and the combination of artistic characteristics of picture books. It explored new ideas for the development of traditional culture, proposed application principles, and suggested strategies for the form innovation of children's picture books to make Beijing Opera enter children's life from the traditional stage.

        Accuracy analysis for machine tool spindles considering full parallel connections and form errors based on skin model shapes

        The rotation accuracy of a machine tool spindle is essential for ensuring the machining precision. Due to the existence of manufacturing and assembly errors, the rotation accuracy of the spindle will be inevitably impacted and degraded. Therefore, to reduce the influence of the errors and improve the work performance, this paper focuses on accuracy analysis for the spindle and a novel optimization-oriented skin model shape method to tackle this highly complex problem. First, a structural analysis of the spindle is carried out to elaborate the intractable full parallel collections in the assembly. Then, based on the iterative closest point method, the deviation propagation of the spindle considering complex full parallel collections is transformed into an optimization problem, in which the skin model shapes and small displacement torsor are utilized to represent the form and pose errors of the part, respectively. By solving the optimization problem, assembly accuracy analysis for the spindle in terms of full parallel connections and form errors is accordingly achieved. On this basis, the tolerance analysis model of the spindle is also comprehensively established by employing the corresponding error simulation. Finally, measurement experiments are conducted to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method. The experiments show the predicted rotation runout and tolerance magnitude are close to the testing results, therefore indicating the proposed method can provide effective accuracy analysis for spindles.
