      • Catenary 곡면을 갖는 막구조물의 치환기법에 관한 연구

        Membrane structure systems and cable net structure systems are attracting people's attention as they are used in many buildings because of their light materials and airy appearances. If a membrane structure system or a cable net structure system does not have sufficiently high initial stiffness, it may be in unstable state. But if the initial stiffness is secured, the system will be in stable state. In this study the nonlinear finite element formulae for membrane and cable members considering geometric nonlinearity is derived, and then a catenary's membrane structure, and a tension membrane structure by Nass(Nonlinear Analysis for Spatial Structures) program is analyzed. The suitable scheme, which membrane structure are assigned by cable elements for overcoming the unfitted shape problem, is shown that the section of cable is assigned by element's area.

      • 建設現場의 電氣設備安全에 관한 調査 硏究

        The purpose of this study is to consider a plan to improve the peoples' electrical safety consciousness by investigating the causal factors and issues of electrical safety accidents at construction fields and to offer effective preventive measures against electrical accidents. The conditions of installation, maintenance, and management of electrical equipment by shape, hydroelectric voltage, and area of construction fields in Kwangju and the Chonnam region were investigated. Thirty- two construction fields were chosen, and their conditions of safety management and installation of high- voltage and subordinate equipment were investigated. The electrical safety consciousness of 157 workers at the fields was surveyed. The main constant of the investigation was the conditions for the installation, maintenance, and management of hydroelectric equipment, the installation and management of electric wiring, the use, of mobile electrical and portable type apparatus, the possession and management of electrical safety devices, the case investigation of electric shocks, and the safety consciousness of the workers at the fields.

      • 고등학교 체육수업에서의 수행평가 적용상 문제점 분석

        This study aims to understand and analyze problems on applying performance assessment to physical education in high school, and to offer basic data to seek for measures to settle performance assessment in physical education. The specific themes are, first, we analyze the present condition of reflection of the assessment in physical training. knowledge. and attitude in physical education. Second. we analyze teachers' implementation of performance assessment. Third, we compare the recognition of performance assessment according to students' gender. Fourth, we compare the recognition of performance assessment according to the type of schools. For the research, twelve high schools in the Metropolitan area were randomly selected, and 50 physical education teachers and 305 high school students in third grade were polled. Collected data from teachers were classified by type after frequency study. and the data from the students were analyzed in terms of frequency. by the means of Independent T-test for verification of average deviation between male and female students and by means of one-way ANOVA for analysis of school type-related results. When there was any significant difference among groups, Tukey method was applied for the aftermath verification. The results are as follows. First, the reflection rate of assessment on physical training. knowledge and attitude in physical education was found to be 60: 30: 10. Second, teachers implement physical training assessment mostly in two sports per semester. Most teachers assess focusing on the record (the number of times), and implement the assessment twice per each sport. Classroom assessment and assignment assessment are implemented if required. As for exam questions for knowledge assessment. most teachers gave only multiple-choice type questions. Most teachers also implement knowledge assessment with various other measures such as experiment. drill, physical training test and report. Assessment of attitude is mostly implemented by teachers. They evaluate such factors as uniform, participation, attendance, absence, and lateness. Students' behavior and attitude during classes are also mostly reflected in assessment. 68.8% (thirty three) respondents answered that they evaluated students' attitude every class. Third. as for the awareness of performance assessment according to students' gender, both boys and girls are found to be well aware of the assessment. They showed positive responses toward the number of assessment, fairness and accuracy of self assessment and peer assessment; toward humanistic education and academic achievement which are results of performance assessment, boys showed positive responses whereas girls showed negative ones. Fourth, the comparison of awareness of performance assessment according to school type shows that respondents from all types of boys', girls' and co-ed high schools responded positively, and especially respondents from boys' high school answered more positively. As for the reflection of students' interest on the assessment, respondents from all types of boys', girls', and co-ed high schools responded negatively, and especially respondents from co-ed high schools answered more negatively. Respondents from all types of high school, especially those from girls' high schools answered positively to the question regarding standards, function of performance assessment, appropriateness of reflection rate and the number of assessment of students' knowledge and attitude. With regard to fairness of performance assessment and accuracy of self assessment and peer assessment, respondents from both boys' and girls' high schools answered positively, especially there were more positive answers from girls' high schools. Respondents from boys' and girls' high schools answered more negatively than those from co-ed high schools to the question regarding effectiveness of group assessment in performance assessment. To the question of contribution of performance assessment to humanistic education, respondents from co-ed high schools answered more negatively than those from boys' and girls' high schools. Respondents from boys' and girls' high schools showed positive responses on the contribution of performance assessment to academic achievement, whereas respondents from coeducational high schools showed negative responses. which is statistically significant(F=3.909, p= .021). However, aftermath verification showed that only respondents from boys' and coeducational high schools showed significant difference (p= .020).

        Poly(ADP-ribose)Polymerase 억제제가 신생백서의 저산소성 허혈성 뇌손상에 미치는 영향/1H 자기공명분광법을 이용한 연구

        Background : Poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) has been described as an important candidate for mediation of neurotoxicity after brain ischemia. This study was purposed to evaluate the effects of a PARP inhibitor on hypoxic-ischemic injury in the neonatal rat brain. In this study, a highly potent inhibitor of PARP, 3, 4-Dihydro-5-[4-(1-piperidinyl) butoxy]-1 (2H)-isoquinolinone (DPQ) was investigated. Methods : Seven-day old Sprague-Dawley rat pups were used. The right common carotid artery was ligated under halothane anesthesia. After a recovery period of 3 hours, they were exposed to 8% oxygen at 37℃ for about 120 minutes. The animals were divided into four groups: the pre-treatment group (n = 13) and post-treatment group (n = 21) were given DPQ 10 ㎎/㎏ and the pre-control group (n = 7) and post-control group (n = 14) were given a vehicle for controls. Pre-treatment and pre-control groups were injected 30 minutes prior to the hypoxic injury while post-treatment and post-control groups were injected 30 minutes after the hypoxic period intraperitoneally. The right cerebral hemisphere of the rats were examined with localized ^1H magnetic resonance spectroscopy on day 1 and 7 after the hypoxic insult. Lipid/N-acetyl aspartate (Lip/NAA) and lipid/creatine (Lip/Cr) ratios were used as apoptotic markers. On day 14, the degree of brain injury was scored by morphological changes. Results : In the DPQ treated groups, the Lip/NAA and Lip/Cr ratios were lower than those of the control groups on day 1 after the hypoxic-ischemic injury (P < 0.05). However on day 7, only the ratios of the pre-treatment group were lower than those of the control group (P < 0.05). The degree of morphological changes of the brain injury on day 14 were lower in the DPQ treated groups (P < 0.05). Conclusions : These results suggest that DPQ exerts a neuroprotective effect in cerebral hypoxicischemic injury probably by inhibiting apoptosis especially in the early stage after an insult. Acute inhibiton of PARP can have a therapeutic value in preventing ischemic brain injury. (Korean J Anesthesiol 2002; 42: 228~240)

        Intuitionistic Interval-Valued Fuzzy Topological Spaces

        By using the concept of intuitionistic interval-valued fuzzy sets, we introduce the notion of intuitionistic interval-valued fuzzy topology. And we study some fundamental properties of intuitionistic interval-valued fuzzy topological spaces: First, we obtain analogues[see Theorem 3.11 and 3.12] of neighborhood systems in ordinary topological spaces. Second, we obtain the result[see Theorem 4.9] corresponding to "the 14-set Theorem" in ordinary topological spaces. Finally, we give the initial structure on intuitionistic interval-valued fuzzy topologies[see Theorem 5.9].

        Fuzzy Mappings and Fuzzy Equivalence Relations

        Equivalence relations and mappings for crisp sets are very well known. This paper attempts an investigation of equivalence relations and mappings for fuzzy sets. We list some concepts and results related to fuzzy relations. We give some examples corresponding to the concept of fuzzy equality and fuzzy mapping introduced by Demirci [1]. In addition, we introduce the notion of preimage and quotient of fuzzy equivalence relations. Finally, we investigate relations between a fuzzy equivalence relation and a fuzzy mapping.

        Potential Therapeutics Against Flaviviruses

        Flaviviruses have been important human pathogens after emerging and resurging flavivirus diseases over the past decades. Although effective therapeutic agents are not yet commercially available for use in humans, significant progress has been made toward developing effective therapeutics and treatments. Several studies have shown that antibodies against the flaviviral E and NS1 proteins play a central role in prophylaxis and/or treatment of flavivirus infection through passive immunization. In addition, many anti-flavivirals, including interferons, oligonucleotide-based platforms, and small compounds, have been developed and evaluated for their antiviral effects. This review provides an overview of various approaches to the development of anti-flaviviral candidates and new insights that could improve our strategies for designing effective therapeutics against flaviviruses.

        Ordinary Smooth Topological Spaces

        In this paper, we introduce the concept of ordinary smooth topology on a set X by considering the gradation of openness of ordinary subsets of X. And we obtain the result [Corollary 2.13] : An ordinary smooth topology is fully determined its decomposition in classical topologies. Also we introduce the notion of ordinary smooth [resp. strong and weak] continuity and study some its properties. Also we introduce the concepts of a base and a subbase in an ordinary smooth topological space and study their properties. Finally, we investigate some properties of an ordinary smooth subspace.
