The covid-19 pandemic scenario caused the most extensive economic shocks the world has experienced in decades. Maintaining financial performance and economic stability is essential during the pandemic period. In these conditions, where movement is severely restricted, media consumption is considered to be increasing. The social media platform is one of the media online used by the public as a source of information and also expressing their sentiment, including individual investors in the capital market as social media users. Twitter is one of the social media microblogging platforms used by individual investors to share their opinion and get information. This study aims to determine whether microblogging sentiment investors can predict the capital market during pandemics. To analyze microblogging sentiment investors, we classified sentiment using the phyton text mining algorithm and Naïve Bayesian text classification into level positive, negative, and neutral from November 2019 to November 2020. This study was on 68 listed companies on the Indonesia stock exchange. A Vector Autoregression and Impulse Response is applied to capture short and long-term impacts along with a causal relationship. We found that microblogging sentiment investor has a significant impact on stock returns and volatility and vice-versa. Also, the response due to shocks is convergent, and microblogging investors in Indonesia are categorized as a "news-watcher" investor.
Superconducting properties of SiC-buffered-MgB2 tapes
Putri, W.B.K.,Kang, B.,Duong, P.V.,Kang, W.N. The Korea Institute of Applied Superconductivity a 2015 한국초전도저온공학회논문지 Vol.17 No.3
Production of $MgB_2$ film on metallic Hastelloy with SiC as the buffer layer was achieved by means of hybrid physical-chemical vapor deposition technique, whereas SiC buffer layers with varied thickness of 170 and 250 nm were fabricated inside a pulsed laser deposition chamber. Superconducting transition temperature and critical current density were verified by transport and magnetic measurement, respectively. With SiC buffer layer, the reduced delaminated area at the interface of $MgB_2$-Hastelloy and the slightly increased $T_c$ of $MgB_2$ tapes were clearly noticed. It was found that the upper critical field, the irreversibility field and the critical current density were reduced when $MgB_2$ tapes were buffered with SiC buffer layer. Clarifying the mechanism of SiC buffer layer in $MgB_2$ tape in affecting the superconducting properties is considerably important for practical applications.

We have grown $MgB_2$ superconducting thin films on the SiC buffer layers by means of hybrid physical-chemical vapor deposition (HPCVD) technique. Prior to that, SiC was first deposited on $Al_2O_3$ substrates at various temperatures from room temperature to $600^{\circ}C$ by using the pulsed laser deposition (PLD) method in a vacuum atmosphere of ${\sim}10^{-6}$ Torr pressure. All samples showed a high transition temperature of ~40 K. The grain boundaries of $MgB_2$ samples with SiC layer are greater in amount, compare to that of the pure $MgB_2$ samples. $MgB_2$ with SiC buffer layer samples show interesting change in the critical current density ($J_c$) values. Generally, at both 5 K and 20 K measurements, at lower magnetic field, all $MgB_2$ films deposited on SiC buffer layers have low $J_c$ values, but when they reach higher magnetic fields of nearly 3.5 Tesla, $J_c$ values are enhanced. $MgB_2$ film with SiC grown at $600^{\circ}C$ has the highest $J_c$ enhancement at higher magnetic fields, while all SiC buffer layer samples exhibit higher $J_c$ values than that of the pure $MgB_2$ films. A change in the grain boundary morphologies of $MgB_2$ films due to SiC buffer layer seems to be responsible for $J_c$ enhancements at high magnetic fields.
Fluorinated benzothiadiazole-based small molecules for photovoltaic applications
Putri, Sella Kurnia,Lee, Min Seok,Chang, Dong Wook,Kim, Joo Hyun Elsevier 2016 Synthetic metals Vol.220 No.-
<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>A series of medium band gap conjugated small molecules with a typical D-π-A-π-D structure, in which triphenylamine, thiophene, and benzothiadiazole are used as an electron-donor, a bridge, and an electron-acceptor, respectively, have been synthesized. To investigate the effects of strong electron-withdrawing fluorine atoms on various properties, one and two fluorine substituents are introduced to the central benzothiadiazole unit of N-(4-(5-(7-(5-(4-(diphenylamino)phenyl)thiophen-2-yl)benzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazol-4-yl)thiophen-2-yl)phenyl)-N-phenylbenzenamine (<B>TPA-TBT</B>) to give <B>TPA-TBT-1F</B> and <B>TPA-TBT-2F</B>, respectively. Owing to the significant contributions of fluorine atoms, these small molecules exhibit clearly distinctive optical and electrochemical properties. Inverted-type organic photovoltaic cells (OPVs) with a configuration of ITO/ZnO/small molecules: PC71BM/MoO3/Al were fabricated and the fabricated cells showed maximum power conversion efficiencies of 0.84, 1.15 and 1.70% for <B>TPA-TBT</B>, <B>TPA-TBT-1F</B> and <B>TPA-TBT-2F</B>, respectively. The superior photovoltaic performance of <B>TPA-TBT-2F</B> is attributed to the relatively deep energy level of highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) and to more balanced electron- and hole-mobility within photoconversion layer. Therefore, this study can provide insights into the tuning the properties of benzothiadiazole-based small molecules by introducing fluorine substituents.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> A series of medium band gap conjugated small molecules have been synthesized. </LI> <LI> Selective incorporation of fluorine atoms on the benzothiadiazole acceptors. </LI> <LI> Optical, electrochemical and photovoltaic properties have been investigated. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>

A salt compound of a curcumin analogue, potassium pentagamavunon-0 (K PGV-0) has been synthesized to improve solubility of pentagamavunon-0 which has been proven to have anti-proliferative effects on several cancer cells. The purpose of this study was to investigate cytotoxic activity and metastasis inhibition by K PGV-0 alone and in combination with achemotherapeutic agent, doxorubicin (dox), in breast cancer cells. Based on MTT assay analysis, K PGV-0 showed cytotoxic activity in T47D and 4T1 cell lines with $IC_{50}$ values of $94.9{\mu}M$ and $49.0{\pm}0.2{\mu}M$, respectively. In general, K PGV-0+dox demonstrated synergistic effects and decreased cell viability up to 84.7% in T47D cells and 62.6% in 4T1 cells. Cell cycle modulation and apoptosis induction were examined by flow cytometry. K PGV-0 and K PGV-0+dox caused cell accumulation in G2/M phase and apoptosis induction. Regarding cancer metastasis, while K PGV-0 alone did not show any inhibition of 4T1 cell migration, K PGV-0+dox exerted inhibition. K PGV-0 and its combination with dox inhibited the activity of MMP-9 which has a pivotal role in extracellular matrix degradation. These results show that a combination of K PGV-0 and doxorubicin inhibits cancer cell growth through cell cycling, apoptosis induction, and inhibition of cell migration and MMP-9 activity. Therefore, K PGV-0 may have potential for development as a co-chemotherapeutic agent.
A RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CAYLEY-DICKSON PROCESS AND THE GENERALIZED STUDY DETERMINANT
Putri, Pritta Etriana,Wijaya, Laurence Petrus Korean Mathematical Society 2021 대한수학회논문집 Vol.36 No.3
The Study determinant is known as one of replacements for the determinant of matrices with entries in a noncommutative ring. In this paper, we give a generalization of the Study determinant and show its relationship with the Cayley-Dickson process. We also give some properties of a non-associative ring obtained by the Cayley-Dickson process with a not necessarily commutative, but associative ring as the initial ring.
