        The aim of this research is to survey the type of circulation form of houses that have been built in Taejon since 1970. In this research the circulation of house has been considered and analyzed as approach, entrance, configuration of path, path-space relationship, and form of circulation space. As the results, it is proposed to keep the privacy of living room, to enlarge the public space, to add the special room like on atelier, to introduce the exterior elements into interior space, and to adapt the traditional elements on house design.

        A simple one-dimensional dynamical system of a ball colliding with a periodically vibrating table is considered. It is assumed that the ball is a granular particle and the table is sinusoidally vibrating. The collision is characterized by a coefficient of restitution at each impact. The coefficient of restitution and the frequency of the table is fixed. For given values of initial position and velocity of a ball, we investigated the behavior from periodic to chaotic motion by changing table's amplitude A. We observed the distinct regions of period doubling, chaos, crisis and sticking.

        The Effect of Elasticity of Taping on Ankle Muscles’Activity and Endurance after Plyometric Training

        The purpose of this study is to observe the effect of elasticity of taping on ankle muscles’activity and endurance after plyometric training that easily causes ankle injury, and provide baseline data for physical therapy intervention methods. The study subjects are 24 male students in their 20s who attend N University in Choongnam. They were divided into three groups; 8 subjects in the elastic taping group, 8 in the non-elastic taping group, and 8 in the non-taping group(control group). They had plyometric training for 6 weeks. After the training, this study measured their maximum voluntary isometric contraction(MVIC) and muscle endurance of the muscles around ankle joint. The experiment result is as follows. After the training, all three groups showed improvement in muscle strength and endurance. The elastic taping group showed insignificant improvement in muscle strength but significant increase in muscle endurance in plantarflexion. In dorsiflexion, both muscle strength and endurance increased significantly. The non-elastic taping group showed insignificant improvement in muscle strength but significant increase in muscle endurance in plantarflexion. Taping during plyometric training had a little or insignificant effect on muscle endurance and strength compared to the non-taping group.

        The Effects of Interferential Current and Kaltenborn-Evjenth Orthopedic Manual Therapy on Functional Constipation

        2 week study was conducted to investigate the effects of Interferential Current(IC) and Kaltenborn-Evjenth Orthopedic Manual Therapy(KEOMT) on functional constipation. Interventions were applied to spinal segments between T9-L2 which provides innerva˗ tions to the gastrointestinal tract. Subjects(n=24) were randomly allo˗ cated to two treatment groups: the IC group or the KEOMT group. Results for the IC therapy demonstrated significant decrease with the colonic transit time(CTT) as well as scores on the constipation assessment scale(CAS). The frequency of defecations per week had increased significantly(p<0.05). The KEOMT displayed decreased CTT in the left colon region. The scores on the CAS were reduced and frequency of defecations per week had increased significantly (p<0.05). This study not only showed that both modes of therapy improved symptoms of constipation, but also optimized gastrointesti˗ nal content movement, eventuating in a more normalized CTT. In conclusion, both the IC therapy and the Kaltenborn-Evjenth Orthopedic Manual Therapy have shown to be effective interventions for improving functional constipation.

        에드 혹 네트워크는 불규칙한 이동성을 지닌 다수의 노드들에 의해 자율적으로 구성되는 네트워크이다. 그러나 에드 혹 네트워크는 저 전력, 낮은 프로세싱 능력, 무선채널이라는 에드 혹 네트워크만의 특징으로 인해 패킷 드롭, 재전송 공격, 서비스 거부 공격, 비잔틴 공격, 신원사칭과 같은 보안상 여러가지 공격에 취약하다는 문제점을 안고 있다. 때문에 이러한 취약점을 개선하려는 방안으로 노드 간에 인증, 기밀성, 무결성을 비롯한 여러 가지 요소를 충족시키기 위한 보안기법이 연구되어 왔다, 그러나 Ad Hoc 네트워크는 기존의 회선을 사용하는 정적인 형태의 네트워크가 아닌 시간에 동적으로 네트워크 구조가 변화하며, 네트워크에서 불규칙한 이동성을 지닌 노드들은 적은양의 자원을 소유하는 원인으로 인해 기존의 보안기법은 효과적이지 못하다. 본 논문에서는 신뢰성이 확보된 이웃 노드 간에 그룹을 형성하고, 그룹멤버의 안전성을 입증하는 그룹 인증서를 생성하여 그룹에 접근하는 단일노드 혹은 또 다른 그룹간의 인증을 수행하는 기법을 제안한다. 또한 그룹 멤버 간에 그룹 키를 생성하여 데이터 유출에 대한 위험성 문제를 해결하고, 인증과 기밀성 유지로 인한 자원소비를 감소시킬 수 있도록 하였다.

        광양만과 진해만에서 대장균 Escherichia coli분포와 수질오염 특성

        In order to assess the inorganic and organic pollutents characteristics in marine water, we investigated COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand), Chlorophyll a and Escherichia coli during four seasons at 20 stations of Gwangyang Bay and at 23 stations of Jinhae Bay, Korea. The bay is divided into three zones in Gwangyang and four zones in Jinhae respectively, based on the pollutent levels. In Gwangyang Bay, the high concentration (mean 4.7 mg L 1) of COD was recorded during spring season at Zone I, which can be characterized as a semi enclosed eutrophic area (St. 1~9). Also, Chl. a concentrations were high at Zone I (mean 14.0 μg L 1). The colony of E. coli were detected during summer season at Zone II, which is influenced by Seomjin River water. The E. coli may have been entered from the river water in a large pulse during rainy season. On the other hand, E. coli was kept low levels during four seasons at the Zone III, which is influenced indirectly by surface water currents from offshore of the bay. In Jinhae Bay, the high COD and Chl. a were shown during all seasons at Zone I, which is characteristed by semi enclosed eutrophic area of Masan and Haengam bays. The Zone I also had been shown relatively high E. coli concentration in all seasons. In constrast, other three zones did not show seasonal characteristics of the E. coli concentrations. The present study suggests that E. coli concentrations can be significantly elevated in eutrophic semi enclosed area.

        센서네트워크는 다양한 환경에 배치되어 환경요소 감시 등, 유용한 정보를 제공하는데 사용될 수 있다는 특징을 가지고 있지만 여러 가지 보안적 취약점을 가지고 있다는 단점이 있다. 따라서 이러한 센서네트워크의 안전성을 위해서는 반드시 보안 서비스가 요구되며, 각각의 노드간의 안전한 통신을 위해 보다 안전하고 효과적인 키 관리 기법이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 센서네트워크에서 안전하고 효과적인 통신을 위해 기존의 위치기반의 다항식 키 분배 기법을 개선한 키 관리 기법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법에서는 먼저 다수의 사각형 타일로 구성된 맵에 센서 노드들을 배치하고, 배치된 노드들의 위치를 반영하여 다항식를 각 노드에게 할당한다. 이후부터 각각의 노드들은 다항식을 통해 Pair-wise Key를 생성하며, 노드의 배치 전 인증 키를 미리 할당하여 기존의 위치기반 다항식 키 분배 방식에서 부족한 노드의 이동성을 고려하였으며 기존 방식에서의 과도한 시스템 부하를 감소시켰다.

        Effects of Gait Training Using Functional Electrical Stimulation on Stroke Patients' Balance and Gait Velocity

        The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of gait training using functional electrical stimulation on the improvement of hemiplegic patients' functions for balance and gait velocity. The subjects of the experiment were determined to be 10 each hemiplegic patients who had been diagnosed with stroke or brain damage six months or longer earlier assigned to an experimental group and a control group respectively. The subjects were evaluated before the experiment using Tetrax and 10M gait tests, received gait training five times a week for four weeks using functional electrical stimulation and were evaluated after the experiment in the same method as used in the evaluation before the experiment. In order to examine differences between the experimental group that received gait training using functional electrical stimulation and the control group that was treated by functional electrical stimulation and received gait training thereafter, differences between before and after the experiment were analyzed using paired sample t-tests and differences in changes after the experiment between the experimental group and the control group were analyzed using independent sample t-tests in order to compare the two groups with each other. Experimental results showed significant differences in weight bearing, balance and gait velocity between before and after the experiment in the experimental group(p<.05). In the control group, whereas weight bearing and gait velocity did not show any significant difference between before and after the experiment(p>.05), balance showed significant differences(p<.05). Weight bearing, balance and gait velocity change rates showed significant differences between the experimental group and the control group(p<.05). In conclusion, it was indicated that gait training using functional electrical stimulation is effective for enhancing stroke patients' weight bearing rates, balance abilities and gait velocity.
