        Post-traumatic cholesteatoma can be originated in the middle ear or mastoid cavity after head trauma such as temporal bone fracture, penetrating injury of the temporal bone or blast injury of the tympanic membrane. It usually takes a long time to develope cholesteatoma after injury, and physicians may overlook its association with previous, trauma. Post-traumatic cholesteatoma can be suspected in patients with head trauma history and atypical cholesteatoma findings. We experienced two cases of cholesteatoma which found behind the intact tympanic membrane in 7 and 13 years old boys with history of head trauma, and we are reporting this with a discussion and literatural review.

        As a fundamental policy of energy, We can imagine two possible courses, namely, "hard energy paths" and "soft energy paths." These days, advanced nations generally take hard paths. This means that the energy demand is increasing, and that the deficiency of curde oil, which has been the major energy source until now, is made up with coal and atomic energy. But the hard path face a problem of scale, and it is connected with the collapse of humanity. Soft Energy is the policy which uses high-entropy energy: solar energy, wind power, and biomass, and it is characterized by small-scale, dispersion and simplification. This text contains the analysis of problematic points of hard energy paths and. the general analysis of the fundamental concept of soft energy paths. It is my belief that if we select soft energy paths, we shall be able to achieve. energy self-sufficiency. Therefore, I have written briefly about the self-supporting: energy plans of Germany and Sweden.

        In the preface I itemized the technical subjects which are to de carried out through industrial courses by dint of sem i-conbuctors. Accodingly we are able to recognize the importance of semiconductors in our daily lifeboth at present and in future. We pursuing conduction theory concerning semi-conductors,especially that of electricity in semi-condnctors in classical physics, The quantity which represents the electrical charateristic of a matter only remained as a matter constant, which is known experientially, in an equation. In other words, there was no decisive resolution about it. In modern physics, however, the quantum mechanics accomplished by M. Planck, E. Shro¨dinger and W. Herissenderg and the statistical mechanics developed by E Fermi and P. Dirae were successfully applied to molecule and atom. Hereupon the basis of the theory of electron in solids was accomplished and the problem of electrical conduction was explained theoretically. In the historical study of semi-conductors, I generally mentioned the State of studies from 1933 (in this year semi-conductor entered the stage of Physics for the first time) till now (when transistors are available). In the second part, mentioning the theory of peculiar band of energy in each matter, and showing the characteristic resulted by invading of impurity level into it and explaing various movements of holes of electron by working of scattering, electric and magnetic light quantum upon it. I mentioned the import of electronic conduction in semi-conductors. I also explained the asymmetric electric conduction of semi-conductors, which is one of the important charactristics, showing the movements of electronic holes in P-N junction. In the part of conclusion, I spoke of future position occupied by semi-conductors.

        경련 발작에 대한 초·중·고교 응급처치교육 모듈 평가

        Purpose : The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of first aid education module on convulsion and seizure for students in elementary, middle and high school. Methods : This study has implemented to 2 types of test groups and control group in each 3rd and 5th grade of elemenary school, 2nd grade of middle school and high school within target school. The data were collected through a self-reported questionnaire to before, after and one month after education from July, 11 to September 4, 2007. Results : The test group who received first aid education possessed greater knowledge about convulsion and seizure relative to the control group not received education. The overall students has satisfied and been understood well with this module. The educators agreed to the practical aspects of this module in school setting. Conclusion : The above results implicated the importance of a continuous and systematic first aid education program among students. For effective first aid education, there needs a development of targeted educational materials for each grade student and training programs for educators.

      • 補中益氣湯이 납中毒된 흰쥐의 臟器重量에 미치는 影響

        Lead acetate and Bojungiki-tang extract, a herbal restorative were treated p. o. 40㎎/㎏ and 500㎎/㎏ respectively and concurrently to mouse, and examined variation of body weigh, accumulation of lead in organs of rats. The results obtained in this study are as follows: 1. Bojungiki-tang extract(BIT) resulted increase of body weight and the increase ratio of body weight in lead-treated group was dropped but the group of concurrent administration with BIT showed significant recovery. 2. The accumulation of lead in liver of lead-treated group increased but the group of concurrent administration with BIT showed significant decrease. 3. The ratio of liver weight/body weight of lead-treated group increased but the group of concurrent administration with BIT showed significant decrease. These results on the whole indicated that concurrent administration with BIT sowed significant recovery from the toxicity of lead-treated group.

        초등학생들의 학교안전생활 실천에 관한 실태조사 연구

        This paper surveys and researches primary school students' situation of their school life. The purpose of the paper is to propose the basic information of the accident prevention teaching the safety management in order to avoid accidents to occur beforehand. We selected 228 primary students out of the six primary schools in Taebaek City at which the nursing students of Kangwon Tourism College practiced school health. We used SPSS Win for analyzing data. We came up with the general characteristics and percentage using frequency analysis, mean and standard deviation of each item, the mean difference using T-Test, and the different factors using one-way analysis. The results are as follows: 1. The 6th grade students don't practice safety procedures than the 5th grade students during outside the school. The older the student is, the less it practices safety procedures. 2. Boys practice safety procedures better than the girls during inside and outside the school. 3. Hot -tempered students don't practice safety procedures properly. 4. Most of the students who often use the health room of the school have high scores in safety procedures test and as a result, these students practice safety procedures thoroughly. 5. The grade of safety living activity is the highest during gymnastic class. Next is when the students use the stairs when they are going up and down. Then, the use of science room. In the playground is the lowest grade of safety for living activity.

      • 천해역에서의 유한요소해석을 위한 자동요소분할법

        This paper presents the automatic mesh generation based on Delaunay triangulation for the finite element analysis in the shallow water area. The key feature of this method is that an appropriate mesh can be generated in accordance with the boundaries. This method is shown to be a useful and powerful tool for the preparation of the optimal finite element mesh data.
