This paper examines eight kinds of representative punctuation on the first chapter of the Zi Han Article in the Analects of Confucius. Through the analysis of the Analects of Confucius text, especially through the unearthed literature of Confucius remarks, we can judge that, Confucius seldom say "利(benefit)", and several times to talk about "命(life, destiny)" and "仁 (benevolence)". As the founder of Confucianism, Confucius Believe in or approval the idea of "命(life, destiny)"and" 仁(benevolence)". The punctuation for the first chapter of Zi Han Article should be, "子罕言利, 與命, 與仁". "與" should be regarded as borrowed words of "擧 (quote)". This chapter can be translated as, Confucius seldom say "利(benefit)", but quote (repeatedly) about "命(life, destiny)" and" 仁(benevolence)".
Production of Tween 80-inducing Esterase by Acinetobacter sp. B1 Using Response Surface Methodology

Esterase produced by Acinetobacter sp. B1 (strain B1) was optimized by means of one-variable-at-a-time and response surface methodologies. Results of the one-variable-at-a-time experiment showed that Tween 80 significantly increased esterase production of strain B1. The addition of Tween 80 to the culture medium increased the biomass and esterase activity of strain B1, stimulated content of total extracellular protein, and enhanced the oleic acid (C18:1) composition in the cell membrane of strain B1. The influence of eight culture variables on esterase production was evaluated by Plackett-Burman design. Results showed that Tween 80, pH, and K2HPO4 significantly affected the esterase production of strain B1. Tween 80, pH, and K2HPO4 were further optimized by central composite design. Under the optimized conditions (w/v, soluble starch 2.5%, tryptone 1.5%, Tween 80 0.8%, K2HPO4 0.5%, NaCl 0.5%, pH 8.0, inoculum size 1%, and inoculum age 24 h), the maximum esterase activity of strain B1 was 152.13 U/ml, which was 10-fold higher than that of non-optimization after 36 h cultivation.

Evaluation of early age mechanical properties of concrete in real structure

The curing temperature is known to influence the rate of mechanical properties development of early age concrete. In realistic sites the temperature of concrete is not isothermal 20˚C, so the paper measured adiabatic temperature increases of four different concretes to understand heat emission during hydration at early age. The temperature-matching curing schedule in accordance with adiabatic temperature increase is adopted to simulate the situation in real massive concrete. The specimens under temperature-matching curing are subjected to realistic temperature for first few days as well as adiabatic condition. The mechanical properties including compressive strength, splitting strength and modulus of elasticity of concretes cured under both temperature-matching curing and isothermal 20˚C curing are investigated. The results denote that comparing temperature-matching curing with isothermal 20˚C curing, the early age concretes mechanical properties are obviously improved, but the later mechanical properties of concretes with pure Portland and containing silica fume are decreased a little and still increased for concretes containing fly ash and slag. On this basement using an equivalent age approach evaluates mechanical properties of early age concrete in real structures, the model parameters are defined by the compressive strength test, and can predict the compressive strength, splitting strength and elasticity modulus through measuring or calculating by finite element method the concreted temperature at early age, and the method is valid, which is applied in a concrete wall for evaluation of crack risking.
Development of amine-functionalized hierarchically porous silica for CO2 capture

A kind of hierarchical porous silica (HPS) was synthesized in a relatively mild condition and then devoted as the supports to fabricate TEPA-impregnated adsorbents for CO2 adsorption. HPS has different pore size distribution and the huge pore volume. These structure characteristics of HPS can mitigate the mass transfer resistance which occurs more serious in traditional carrier materials with single smaller channel. The CO2 adsorption performances of modified HPS were investigated in a homemade fixed bed reactor under different conditions. The HPS exhibited maximum CO2 adsorption capacities of 5.01 mmol/g when 60 wt.% TEPA loaded. It presented better TEPA loading properties and higher CO2 adsorption capacities than the majority of the single ordered mesoporous adsorbents according to the literature. When the adsorption experiments were repeated ten times, the amount of CO2 capture reduces from 5.01 mmol/g to 4.7 mmol/g, only 6.1% reduction. And the deactivation model which can describe the absorption of CO2 was adopted under different experiment conditions. In all these cases, the experimental data of CO2 adsorption gave a good agreement with the predicted results by the breakthrough model.
An Improved Kernel Clustering Algorithm for Mixed-Type Data in Network Forensic

Clustering algorithm is a common analysis technology for network forensics, which, lacking of any prior knowledge, can effectively find out the invasions by analyzing the collected real-time communication data flowing through the network. This paper proposed an improved dynamic kernel clustering algorithm for mixed numeric and categorical network communication data. First, centroid prototype based on the mean and distribution centroid was put forward to represent the cluster center. Then by using Gaussian kernel function, the paper introduced a new dissimilarity measure between the data object and the centroid prototype in combination with the significance of different categorical values. On this basis, the objective function was defined, which took into account both the compact degree in a cluster and the discrete degree among the clusters. After that an improved kernel clustering algorithm was designed. In the process of clustering, centroid prototype and the value of the clustering parameter dynamically updated for a better description of the characteristics of clusters’ change. Finally, in order to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the algorithm, the paper further applied it to network forensics, and the experimental results showed that the method could mine the intrusion behavior more accurately.
High-breakdown-voltage GaN-based vertical FinFET design

In this study, GaN-based vertical FinFET device using HfO 2 as a high-κ dielectric gate layer to improve the breakdown voltage is designed. Simulation results show that a breakdown voltage as high as 2139 V can be achieved for the optimized GaN-based FinFET with a fin channel width of 200 nm, a channel doping concentration of 1 × 10 16 cm −3 , and a drift layer thickness of 10 μm. In addition, the proposed device has a low specific on-state resistance of 0.84 mΩ cm 2 , resulting in a large Baliga optimum figure of merit (FOM) 5.45 GW cm −2 . This work could lay a foundation to further improve the electrical performance of GaN-based vertical FinFET devices.

The Chinese ancient accounts of timing observations of 48 lunar eclipses and the secular variation of the Earth's spin speed are discussed. A series of ${\Delta}$T expressing the secular deceleration of the Earth's rotation was obtained. The average increase rate of length of the day is about 1.5 milliseconds per century.

<P>Bis-dicarbacorrole (<B>bis-H</B><SUB><B>3</B></SUB>) with two adj-CCNN subunits was synthesized by incorporating a dibenzo[<I>g</I>,<I>p</I>]chrysene moiety into the macrocyclic structure. The two trianionic cores in <B>bis-H</B><SUB><B>3</B></SUB> can stabilize two Cu(III) ions (<B>bis-Cu</B>) or concurrently a Cu(III) cation and a Pd(II) ion in the form of a hetero bis-metal complex (<B>mix-Cu/Pd</B>). As prepared, <B>mix-Cu/Pd</B> displays organic π radical character, as confirmed by various techniques, including electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, femtosecond transient absorption measurements, and DFT calculations. Radical formation is ascribed to one-electron transfer from the dicarbacorrole backbone to the Pd center allowing the d<SUP>8</SUP> Pd(II) center to be accommodated in a square planner coordination geometry. Nucleus-independent chemical shift and anisotropy of the induced current density calculations provide support for the conclusion that <B>bis-H</B><SUB><B>3</B></SUB> and <B>bis-Cu</B> both display antiaromatic character and contain two formally 16 π-electron dicarbacorrole subunits. On this basis, we suggest that <B>mix-Cu/Pd</B> is best considered as containing a fused 15 π-electron nonaromatic radical subunit and a 16 π-electron antiaromatic subunit.
