Antibacterial and Antitumor Macrolides from Streptomyces sp. Is9131
Zhao Pei-Ji,Fan Li-Ming,Li Guo-Hong,Zhu Na,Shen Yue-Mao The Pharmaceutical Society of Korea 2005 Archives of Pharmacal Research Vol.28 No.11
Four compounds, including two novel macrolides, were isolated from an endophyte Streptomyces sp. Is9131 of Maytenus hookeri. Spectral data indicated that these compounds were dimeric dinactin (1), dimeric nonactin (2), cyclo-homononactic acid (3), and cyclo-nonactic acid (4). Bioassay results showed that dimeric dinactin had strong antineoplastic activity and antibacterial activity.

To implement energy savings in multistage centrifugal pumps, a return channel is utilized to replace the origin inter-stage flow channel structure, and then a single-objective optimization work containing high-precision numerical simulation, design variable dimensionality reduction, and machine learning is conducted to obtain the optimal geometric parameters. The variable dimensionality reduction process is based on the Spearman correlation analysis method. The influence of 15 design variables of the impeller and return channel is investigated, and seven of them with high-impact factors are selected as the final optimization variables. Thereafter, a genetic algorithm-backpropagation neural network (GA-BPNN) model is used to create a surrogate model with a high-fitting performance by employing a GA to optimize the initial thresholds and weights of a BPNN. Finally, a multi-island genetic algorithm (MIGA) is employed to maximize hydraulic efficiency under the nominal condition. The findings demonstrate that the optimized model’s efficiency is increased by 4.29% at 1.0Qd, and the deterioration of the pump performance under overload conditions is effectively eliminated (the maximum efficiency increase is 14.72% at 1.3Qd). Furthermore, the internal flow analysis indicates that the optimization scheme can improve the turbulence kinetic energy distribution and reduce unstable flow structures in the multistage centrifugal pump.
Adsorption performance of SO2 over ZnAl2O4 nanospheres
Ling Zhao,Sining Bi,Jiasi Pei,Xinyong Li,Ruihong Yu,Ji Zhao,Christopher J. Martyniuk 한국공업화학회 2016 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.41 No.-
A type of uniform ZnAl2O4 nanospheres was selectively synthesized via a facile solvothermalmethod andtheir size was controlled to be 320–450 nm in diameter. It exhibits excellent SO2 adsorption capacity. Both physical structure and surface basicity were determined to play important roles in SO2 adsorptionprocess. In situ FTIR investigation revealed that adsorbed SO2 molecules formed surface bisulfite, sulfite, and bidentate binuclear sulfate. The CO2-TPD results revealed the SO2 adsorption capacity of thecatalysts correlated closely with their basicity sites. The mechanisms for SO2 adsorption andtransformation have been discussed in detail.
New Amide N-glycosides of Ansamitocins Identified from Actinosynnema pretiosum

By using preparative TLC as the critical isolation procedure, two compounds, including one new amide N-glycosides of ansamitocin (2), were isolated from Actinosynnema pretiosum. The compounds were elucidated as N-demethyl-N-β-D-glucopyranosyl ansamitocin P-2, named ansamitocinoside P-2 (1), and N-demethyl-N-β-D-glucopyranosyl ansamitocin P-1, named ansamitocinoside P-1 (2) on the basis of their spectral data. The 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR assignments were made for 1 and 2 while the 13C-NMR assignment for 1 was revised. Bioassay results showed that 1 had antineoplastic activity.

By using preparative TLC as the critical isolation procedure, two compounds, including one new amide N-glycosides of ansamitocin (2), were isolated from Actinosynnema pretiosum. The compounds were elucidated as N-demethyl-N-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranosyl ansamitocin P-2, named ansamitocinoside P-2 (1), and N-demethyl-N-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranosyl ansamitocin P-1, named ansamitocinoside P-1 (2) on the basis of their spectral data. The $^1$H-NMR and $^{13}$C-NMR assignments were made for 1 and 2 while the $^{13}$C-NMR assignment for 1 was revised. Bioassay results showed that 1 had antineoplastic activity.

Background: The aim of this study was to evaluate how CYP2C19 affects icotinib and metabolite' exposure, and to determine whether the exposure and EGFR genotype influences survival time, tumor metastasis and adverse drug reactions. Materials and Methods: 274 NSCLC patients who accepted 125mg icotinib/t.i.d. were chosen from a phase III study. Blood samples were obtained in $672^{nd}$ ($4^{th}$ week) and $1,680^{th}$ hours ($10^{th}$ week), and plasma was used to quantify the concentration of icotinib and blood cells were sampled to check the genotypes. Clinical data were also collected at the same time, including EGFR genotypes. Plasma concentrations were assessed by HPLC-MS/MS and genotype by sequencing. All data were analyzed through SPSS 17.0 and SAS 9.2. Results: CYP 2C19 genotypes affected bio-transformation from icotinib to M24 and M26, especially in poor-metabolisers. Higher icotinib concentrations (>1000 ng/mL) not only increased patient PFS and OS but also reduced tumor metastasis. Patients with mutant EGFR experienced a higher median PFS and OS (234 and 627 days), especially those with the 19del genotype demonstrating higher PR ratio. Patients who suffered grade II skin toxicity had a higher icotinib exposure than those with grade I skin toxicity or no adverse effects. Liver toxic reactions might occur in patients with greater M20 and M23 plasma concentrations. Conclusions: CYP2C19 polymorphisms significantly affect icotinib, M24 and M26 exposure. Patients with mutant EGFR genotype and higher icotinib concentration might have increased PFS and OS and lower tumor metastasis. Liver ADR events and serious skin effects might be respectively induced by greater M20, M23 and icotinib concentrations.
