      • 볼록성 행렬을 이용한 옵션부 채권 포트폴리오 관리전략

        Duration vector strategies have been developed to allow various types of term structure movements. The duration vector strategies assume multi-factor models for the term structure movement. When a duration vector strategy is considered as a generalization of a duration strategy which is a single factor model for the term structure movement, there will be a generalized concept which measures convexity of a bond under the duration vector model. Recently, Oh(2004) identified the generalized convexity property of an option embedded bond portfolio under 'key rate duration model' which is a kind of duration vector model suggested by Ho(1992). Oh(2004) also developed a bond portfolio management strategy under his generalized convexity model. But the strategy can be applied under very specific situation. This paper identifies the problem of the strategy and suggests an alternative portfolio management strategy which is supported by mathematical proof.

        We develop a practical equalization algorithm which can be used to improve data transmission rate and transmission error rate. The algorithm combines a blind method and a training method to estimate a communication channel. Since we use a blind method after training method processed, our algorithm improve data transmission rate and transmission error rate. For practical implmentation, we suggest an adaptive algorithm which can be used in real time applications such as a digital communication system. We demonstrate that our algorithm can reduce transmission error rate for an indoor wireless communication channel model through a simulation.

Proceedings of International Symposium on East-West Medicine, Seoul. 244-254, 1999.-Obesity can be defined as a metabolic disease due to an increased state of fat tissues caused by an imbalance of calorie intake and use. Recently, in Korea by improvement and westernization of food intake, along with decrease in exercise activities, the prevalence of obesity has increased greatly. Our objectives were to study stability and effects of decrease in body fat by administering red ginseng compound preparation (known to have body fat decreasing effects in laboratory animals) to obesity patients on low calorie diets. Changes in weight and body fat were measured while carrying out calorie-restricted diets on patients for 4 weeks, then administering red ginseng compound preparation for another 4 weeks. The patients were 20 people whose BMI were 25kg/㎡ or over and whose percent body fat was also 30% or over when tested by bioelectrical conductivity. 1. Changes in weight were from 70.04kg(base line) to 67.43kg(after taking red ginseng compound preparation). 2. In similar sense, BMI decreased from 27.12kg/㎡(base line) to 26.56kg/㎡(after dieting), and further to 26.01kg/㎡ (after taking red ginseng compound preparation). The BMI seemed to decrease significantly compared to the baseline after the use of red ginseng compound. 3. Waist hip ratio was changed from 0.8858(base line) to 0.8728, but it was statistically insignificant. 4. The percent body fat was 35,16%(base line), 33.87%(after dieting), and 31.68%(after taking red ginseng compound preparation). 5. Complete blood cell count and blood chemisrty remained unaffected by the administration. 6. In concern to endocrinologic studies, T3 decreased from 118.7 to 98.2ng/dL, and T4 increased from 8.8 to 9.2㎕/ dL. Epinephrine showed a tendency to decreased from 0.27 to 0.25 ng/mL, and norepinephrine increased from 0.39 to 0.44ng/mL. 7. Leptin was not changed. 8. Some patients complained adverse effects; constipation(5 patients, may be due to diet therapy), fatigue (2 patients), pruritus(2 patients), flushing(s patients), dizziness(3 patients) and epigastric discomfort(2 patients). However their symptoms were mild, so medication did not stopped. In conclusion, loss of weight without significant side effects was observed during low calorie diet and red ginseng compound preparation administration. This is thought to be in relation to sympathetic nerve system rather than adrenal gland. Also, further long0term studies should be required, since the observed results were based on short-term changes in weight.

        Objectives : Sipjundaebo-tang is prepared by ten medical herbs that tone the blood and vital energy, and strengthen health. This prescription has long been used traditionally against anemia, anorexia, extreme exhausion and fatigue. The purpose of this thesis was to review the effects of Sipjundaebo-tang that are about immunopotentiation effects, antitumor activities and potentiation, detoxification of antitumor drugs Methods : We studied the research methods and results of experiments which were selected from Korean, Japaness and American theses were on the topic of immunopotentiation effects, antitumor activities and potetiation, detoxification of antitumor drugs from Sipjundaebo-tang Results and conclusions : Sipjundaebo-tang not only potentiates the effects of the combined use of chemotherapy, but also reduces and elimimate the immunotoxicity of antitumor drugs and radiotherapy. And it strengthen immunity and improve QOL, S/OH of cancer patients.

      • 이동 애드 혹 네트워크에서의 환경적응형 QoS AODV 라우팅 프로토콜에 관한 연구

        In this paper, we propose a bidirectional mobile Ad Hoc routing protocol based on AODV(ad-hoc on-demand distance vector routing) with QoS(quality of service) support. At presence, wireless mobile communication focuses on how to efficiently support mobility of users more than QoS guarantee. However, in order to satisfy requirement of various applications which have been or will be served, QoS guarantee between end points is a very important issue. The existing AODV routing protocol is implemented to use only BE (Best Effort) service. However, actual wireless mobile environment requires to reduce a waste of communication resources and meet with the real-time change of data paths by setting up routes with QoS support, considering available communication resources at each node in advance. Therefore, in this thesis, we propose an adaptive QoS support method using hello message in order to rapidly meet with the change of available communication resources and to smoothly perform route maintenance. For performance evaluation, we analyzed the average data reception rate. At that time, we used evaluation parameters such as node's mobility-stop time, hello message period, and packet priority, considering the node's mobility and the number of best effort/QoS data flows. As results, we found that with our proposed method the average data reception rate was increased 16.293%, 15.914%, 17.238% for 300 mobility-stop second case and 4.809%, 4.264%, 2.956% for 300 mobility-stop second case.

      • Hot electron flux at solid–liquid interfaces probed with Pt/Si catalytic nanodiodes: Effects of pH during decomposition of hydrogen peroxide

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Hydrogen peroxide (H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB>) is an effective oxidizing agent that is commonly used in industry. In the presence of metal catalysts, H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB> can decompose into water and oxygen. Understanding this process at a fundamental level is extremely important for a number of industrial applications, e.g. the direct synthesis of H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB> from H<SUB>2</SUB> and O<SUB>2</SUB>. Here, we studied the rates of H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB> decomposition on Pt/n-Si catalysts using a chemicurrent approach that is based on the detection of hot electrons created during dissociative adsorption of H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB> molecules on platinum. We showed that both the rate of H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB> decomposition and the corresponding chemicurrent are sensitive to the pH of the reactive solution.         산업장 기반 모니터링 시스템에 무선 네트워크 기술의 도입은 시스템 도입 및 유지보수에 있어 반드시 필요하다. 무선 네트워크 기반의 산업장 모니터링을 위해 현재 USN 네트워크에서 광범위하게 사용되고 있는 IEEE 802.15.4 하드웨어 및 MAC 을 이용하여 Freequency Hopping을 수행하는 Superframe 기반의 TDMA 기술을 구현하였다.

        안와골절의 외과적 접근에 대한 증례보고

        The Orbital fracture which is often combined with midface fracture can cause decreased visual acuity, limitation of eyeball movement, diplopia, enophthalmos, etc. Traumatic orbital fracture causes change of orbital volume, results in diplopia and enophthalmos thus, accurate repositioning of displaced bone and reconstruction of orbital defect with autogenous materials(cranial, rib, iliac bone, cartilage and fascia lata) or alloplastic materials(gelatin film, polyglactin mesh, methylmethacrylate, Teflon, silicone, Supermid, hydroxyapatite and metal). The key point of reconstruction of orbit is accurate repositioning of displaced orbital floor, lateral, medial orbital wall and sufficient bonegraft in anatomical defect. As this cases, we obtained good results through transconjunctival and coronal approach who were required orbital reconstruction. Also, we accurately diagnosed orbital fracture with C.T., 3D model and good result for orbital reconstruction with sufficient parietal block bone graft during average 16.8 months follow-up.

        에큐메니칼 신(神) 이해와 선교

        Ecumenical Understanding of God and Its Impact on Mission Ahn, Seung-oh Youngnam Theological University and Seminary The terminology ‘theology’ is the combination of ‘logia’ (theory) and ‘deos’(god), meaning ‘the theory about God’. So basically the core of theology is the understanding of God. Since the view of God is important like this, it is not an exaggeration to say that the future of Christianity depends on what kind of understanding of God it has. This much important view of God is also crucial in missiology, since the understanding affects the direction of mission. For example, the purpose of mission would be different according to the understanding of God’s concern, whether it is the salvation of the souls or the shalom of the world. Or the content of mission would be changed according to the understanding about the channel of revelation, whether it is only Jesus Christ or there are other channels also. The purpose of this article is to analyze the understanding of God in ecumenical wing which is a major party of mission movement in these days. For this purpose, I studied the background of ecumenical understanding of God, major traits of ecumenical view of God, and their possible impacts on mission with a desire to shed light on desirable understanding of God for more holistic mission.
