TiO2 광촉매를 이용한 수용액 내의 벤즈알데히드의 광분해반응

자외선 조사하에서 TiO₂를 촉매로 하여 벤즈알데히드의 광촉매 분해반응을 행하였다. 침전법에 의하여 제조된 여러 가지 TiO₂촉매의 활성을 비교하였고 반응조건에 따른 광분해 활성을 조사하였다. 벤즈알데히드의 초기농도가 6 ppm일때 P25촉매가 가장 우수하였으며, 광촉매량을 1~10 g/L로 변화시킨 결과 5 g/L에서 6 h 후에 96%의 제거율로 최대를 나타냈다. 100%의 아나타제로된 P101과 P102 촉매는 P25보다 비표면적이 4배 이상이었으나 벤즈알데히드의 분해 활성은 P25 보다 낮았다. 벤즈알데히드의 분해 메카니즘을 규명하기 위한 in-냐셔 FT-IR 특성 분석 결과 TiO₂ 표면에 가스 상 O₂로부터 반응종인 O^(-)(ads)과 OH radical이 형성되고, TiO₂에 흡착된 벤즈알데히드가 O^(-)(ads)의 공격을 받아 벤젠고리가 끊어져 알코올이 형성되며, 알데히드 → 카르복시산 → nCO₂ + nH₂O으로 완전 산화되는 광산화 반응 mechanism을 제안할 수 있었다. Photocatalytic degradation of benzaldehyde in aqueous phase has been investigated with various TiO2 catalysts under UV irradiation. Photocatalytic activities of p25(Degussa) and TiO₂ (P101 and P102) prepared by a precipitation method were studied as a function of reaction condition. The maximum degradation rate, 96% of benzaldehyde (initial concentration 6 ppm) was achieved with 5g/L of P25 in the range of 1-10g/L photocatalyst. P101 and P102 TiO₂ exhibit lower activity than P25 even though these have 100% anatase phase and about 4 times higher specific surface area than P25. By in-situ FT-IR study, we could propose the photo-degradation mechanism of benzaldehyde as following sequence : at first, O^(-)(ads) and OH radical were formed from oxygen gas on TiO₂; alcohol was formed due to the cession of aromatic ring which was attacked by O^(-)(ads); again oxidized to aldehyde, carboxylic acid and finally to carbon dioxide and water.

This Paper presents a novel piston friction force measurement system that has characteristics of relieving the Pressure force acting on the upper surface of the liner; the system uses general rubber O-rings for combustion chamber sealing, and does not need special changes to the piston top land. The lower supporter of the floating liner increases stiffness in liner axial direction, and results in the increase of natural frequency. The upper supporter has multi-layer structure designed fer low axial stiffness and high radial stiffness. With the use of the present system, the effects of variation in clearance and piston ring tension were studied.

Fabry disease, angiokeratoma corporis diffusum, is a rare X-linked inborn error of glycosphingolipid metabolism due to the lack of the lysosomal enzyme, α-galactosidase A, resulting in a progressive deposition of specific neutral glycosphingolipids within the lysosomes of endothelial and smooth muscle cells of the cardiovascular and renal systems predominantly. We reported a case of Fabry disease, following renal biopsy for the investigation of proteinuria(Creatinine clearance 87.28 mL/min/1.73, serum creatinine 1.1 mg/dL, 24-hour urine protein 1,125 mg, 24-hour urine creatinine 1,382 mg). The patient was 46 year old male. He had experienced anterior chest pain regarded as angina pectoris for a few years. A 12- lead electrocardiogram was abnormal(T-wave inversion in II, III, AVF, and V3-V6), but echocardiography and coronary angiography revealed no abnormal. Kidney biopsy findings showed lamella inclusion bodies on electron microscopy, which are typical finding of Fabry disease. The patient is followed at O.P.D without any significant complaints for 18 months after diagnosis of Fabry disease.

PAT program(The Proficiency Analytical Testing Program)은 미국산업위생협회(American Industrial Hygiene Association AIHA)와 미국산업안전보건연구원(National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health NIOSH)에서 공동주관하는 정도관리로서 일년에 4회 실시하고 있다. 실시항목은 금속(납, 카드뮴, 크롬, 아연), 유리규산, 석면, 유기,용제(Benzen, O-Xylene, Toluene, Carbon Tetrachloride, 1, 1, 1-Trichloroethane, Chloroform, Tetrachloroethylene, 1, 2-Dichloroethane, methanol, p-Dioxane)이다. 대한산업보건협회 산업보건연구소에서는 위의 4가지 항목을 모두 신청하여 1995년 1월에 실시된 120회 부터 참여하였는데 다음은 본 연구소의 120화에 대한 분석방법과 NIOSH로 부터 받은 결과이다.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the erosion characteristic on foundation part (clay and sand grounds and deep cement mixing (DCM) of coastal construction in the West Coast region. For erosion evaluation tests, clay and sand samples were prepared through consolidation and compaction, in the case of DCM sample was prepared by mixing the blast furnace cement considering real condition in the construction field. The erosion rate and shear stress were quantified using EFA (Erosion Function Apparatus). As result, the critical velocity and critical shear stress were calculated and its erodibility was evaluated by erodibility chart.
양양-속초지역 태백산지 동사면 및 동해안에서 안식되는 지형요소의 선구조

본 연구는 양양-속초 지역의 태백산지 동사면 산지 및 동해안에 발달한 지형 요소의 특색과 이것이 지니는 지반운동과 관련된 구조지형학적 의미를 파악하려는 것이다. 이곳의 지형 경관에서 가장 두드러지는 선구조는 NNW-SSE(N30∼40°W), NWW-SEE(N70∼80°W)이다. 이들은 태백산지 조산운동과 함께 이루어진 단층선이나 단열선을 따라 외적영력이 작용한 모습이다. 선구조를 나타내는 지형요소들은(직선상 하곡, 암벽 등) 대체로 오랜 기간의 외적 영력을 받지 못한 예가 많다. 이는 제4기 근자에 생성된 단층이나 단열을 따라서 흔히 인식되는 현상이다. 이는 본 태백산지 조산운동과 관련된 지구조 운동이 제4기 근자에도 진행되어 왔음을 시사한다. This study is to describe morphological linear anomalies manifested in the geomorphologicl landscape of Yangyang-Sokcho region, situated in the eastern slope of Taebaek Range, and to elucidate their morphotectonic significance. The study region present three types of lineaments : NNW-SSE(N30~40°W), NNE-SSW(N25~40°E), NWW-SEE(N70~80°W). These linear anomaly set reflect faulting and fissuring in the course of the orogen of Mts Taebaek by wrapping. According to our examination, these tectonic activity have been remote controlled by a sequence of the compressions -tension regimes of plate tectonic of East Asia, commanded by interaction of Himalaya orogeny, formation of Islands-Arc and of Back-arc-basin(East Sea). Valleys and Rocky walls of linear anomaly are slightly affected by external geomorphological processes. It seems that, even in upper Quaternary, the region have been affected by sensible tectonic movements.
