旅行業を取り巻く環境は厳しい。これまでのマスツーリズムに対応してきたビジネスモデルの頭打ちからの打破をめざす中、業界全体としても、国家施策において近年中心になりつつある着地側地域主体である着地型観光のコンセプトを重要視している。とは言うものの、発地側、着地側双方に前例のない連携を前にジレンマが存在する。 本論は、それらの課題を着地型観光へ向けたビジネスモデルの兆しとしてとらえ、シュンペーター以来のイノベーション論と照らし合わせ考察することで、旅行業の市場である発地側だけでなく着地側地域の課題を含む観光産業全体のイノベーションへの可能性について研究したい。 In the tourism business including the travel industry and the lodging industry, a concept of the supply-side tourism which highlights regions mainly in the national measure is placed a special emphasis in order to overcome the latest stagnant business model which has adapted to the conventional mass tourism. However, the departure side is in a dilemma about the changing the mass tourism business model to the new one. On the other hand, the destination side is in a dilemma about initiating the unheard of promotion as well. On (for) the main topic, I would like to study the possibility of the innovation of the whole tourism business including the supply-side tourism by regarding the problem about these dilemmas as a direction of the new business model related to the supply-side tourism, comparing this change with theories of the innovation which has been expanded since Schumpeter did and deliberating the crisis we face.

Second harmonic electron cyclotron current drive (ECCD) has been investigated on CHS (Compact Helical System) by using a 2-D steerable EC-beam injection system. The direction of the plasma current, which is the sum of bootstrap current and EC-driven current, is clearly reversed by a reversal of the EC-beam injection direction. The direction of driven current is consistent with expectation in the case of low-field side injection of EC wave. So far, a driven current up to 6 kA has been obtained when bootstrap current is less than 2 kA. It is confirmed that right-hand polarization and low density are effective for ECCD.
