Torque converter in automatic transmission transfer the engine power to transmission by ATF. Lock-up clutch of torque converter in automatic transmission has been recently designed with a significant purpose of achieving a more fuel economy. To reduce more fuel consumption, the slip is generated between a friction facing and a front cover for torque converter lock-up clutch. Also many studies of NVH and durability have been in order to increase lock-up area. In a lock-up clutch system a friction plate is one among key elements of torque transfer and is a made of wet friction material by synthetic fiber. The surface roughness of the front cover contact area, the friction material, the cooling condition and damper characteristics in a torque converter are important design parameters for the improvement of NVH and durability. Factors decide characteristics of friction material and material composition, apply pressure, rotation speed, ATF temperature. This test evaluates response time of Coasting lock-up clutch responsiveness in a torque converter.

The automatic transmission’s vehicle have a lot of advantages as like the driving convenience, comfortable movement, soft change of speed and low transmission in comparison with manual vehicle. But, the power loss in auto transmission is inevitable because that generally has the characteristic that the power is transferred by the fluid. For this reason, the general auto transmission vehicle has a lower fuel efficiency than manual one. So, in order to make up for this disadvantage, the lock up function of torque converter is often used for improving this weak point. As the system that help the engine connect to transmission side directly, lock up clutch has the similar composition and characteristic of clutch in manual vehicle and also can improve the fuel efficiency in high-speed condition. By increasing the torque capacity that transfer the transmission by high-torque of engine, the lock up capacity also should be increased. For increasing the lock up capacity of lock up clutch, the wet frictionmaterial is one of the main functions. In order to extend the friction area of wet friction material, the twin facing friction material has been on the rise. When working the lock up clutch, the lock up capacity is increased because the twin facing material is connected between piston and front cover side. In contrary, this process can also cause the drag torque that is one of the main reason of low fuel efficiency due to this drag torque makes the unnecessary load to engine. The major factors that can determine that friction characteristic and durability life are basically ingredient materials, operation oil and control condition. In case of the control condition, the contact surface and rotation speed are an important factors for friction characteristic and durability of friction material. Though this study, it can be used for checking the influence on how much twin facing friction material impact the drag torque converter and conducting the study on the major factors of decreasing the drag torque while designing and controlling.

Purpose : The purpose of this study is to investigate creative confluence competency of occupational therapy students and to understand the correlations between five sub-elements of creative confluence competency. Methods : The subjects of this study were 132 occupational therapy students. The data collection period was from February 12, 2020, to February 28, 2020. A Google questionnaire was used to collect data through SNS; 16 data with insufficient responses were excluded, and 116 data were finally analyzed. The collected data was processed using SPSS 21.0. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe’s test and Pearson‘s correlation coefficient. Results : The mean scores for creative confluence competency of the occupational therapy students is as follows: Creative ability 3.12±.58, creative personality 3.29±.55, creative leadership 3.50±.53, convergent thinking 3.23±.57, confluent value creation 3.04±.59. Occupational therapy students’ creative leadership competence was highest, and confluent value creation competence was lowest. The average score of creative confluence competency of occupational therapy students was 3.12±.58, and the Cronbach’ α value of the creative confluence competency was .97, which was very reliable. There was a positive correlation between the five sub-elements of creative confluence competency. Conclusion : The data in this study are related to efforts to improve occupational therapy students' creative confluence competency and prepare for convergence education. And It is expected to be used as basic data for the development of occupational therapist competency to prepare for the 4th industrial revolution.

The vehicle’s lateral motion is one of the important factor to generate the dummy’s behavior during the IIHS small overlap crash event. In this respect, to accomplish sled tests successfully, it is necessary to simulate the vehicle’s longitudinal and transverse motion simultaneously. This paper describes a new test method on a small overlap sled test by simulating the vehicle’s dynamic lateral motion. The lateral motion was generated by using guide path which includes vehicle’s analysed lateral movement information, and linear motion guides and rails that could be allowed to move to lateral direction of vehicle’s body for sled test.

In a small overlap collision, the vehicle moves simultaneously in the longitudinal and transverse directions and sweeps the barrier or has rotational motion depending on the degree of deformation and support of the vehicle body. In particular, the rotational motion of the vehicle increases the lateral behavior of the occupant and can even cause occupant’s head to contact A pillar. Therefore, it is necessary to study restraint conditions to minimize the lateral behavior of occupant. In this study, we will define restraint conditions that affect behavior of occupant and introduce the results of sled test in the small overlap collision mode.

Bernard Malamud worte many short stories and novels. Most of his novels deal with human freedom and humanity through the characters sesf —knowledge after their suffering. When facing and accepting suffering, most of his characters realize suffering as the nature of human conditions, on account of the suffering they have experienced, and thereby, they understand the true meaning of life. Malamud is a pursuer of a better life through past suffering. He emphasizes the altruism that we should scrifice ourselves for others. Malamud’s novels are basically the stories of the pursuit of a new life through suffering, self— knowledge, and moral rebirth. This paper studies to show Levin has successed in being mental maturity through suffering on the basis of Malamud’s philosophy—the beauty of the human spirit, the great power of love, and the transcendent potential of meaningful suffering. In A New Life, Seymour Levin arrives at Easchester to seek “a new life” and to take up teaching duties. But Levin doesn’t achieve his ambition because of physical desire with Pauline, Nadaelee, and other women. Then he was confronted by moral dilemma. Levin’s personal crisis of humanism seems ended in the novel ends, in startling reversal Levin offers to marry a woman he no longer loves and to adopt her whining children Finally, Levin tries to seek for self—realization. Levin is morally not a failure but a winner. In conclusion, We will have to restore our humanity by bearing in our mind the messages of Bernard Malamud's novels - - accepting and enduring the suffering in life, acquring morality, and Keeping civilization from destroying itself. That is our immediate task. In this world where humanism has been lost, Malamud devoted all his life to changing “you and me” into “us” which is our original self. In this sense, Malamud can be a great teacher and moralist of our time and his works can be highly valued.
