        The Information Behavior of Indonesian Faculty Members on Social Media

        Currently there are many groups of Indonesian faculty members on social media. This research aims to find out the information behavior of Indonesian faculty members on social media, especially on Facebook, Telegram, and WhatsApp. The focus of this research is in-depth understanding of the needs, search, organization, and use of information by Indonesian faculty members on social media. This research is qualitative research using a virtual ethnographic approach. The research data was obtained through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and a literature review. The selection of informants was done by purposive sampling, while triangulation was done by data sources and theories triangulation. The results showed that the information behavior of Indonesian faculty members on social media began with the need for information, choosing social media, choosing and entering into one or several groups, sharing information, and discussing in a group. Some faculty members keep the information, and some choose to ask when they need the information, even though the information has been discussed. The information obtained is used when they need it, and they usually share their experiences with other group members.

        Backward bifurcation of an Sir-Si model with vaccination and treatment

        In the presence of treatment, most epidemic models demon- strate behavior of backward bifurcation. This is important in epidemiol- ogy because it provides signicant information for disease control. How- ever, most models consider only one single population. In this paper, an extended model of two populations in the form SIR-SI involving vaccina- tion and treatment is analyzed. The analysis of local and global stability of equilibria is discussed. By using the center manifold theorem, this model has backward bifurcation behavior when the number of infected people exceeds the treatment capacity. Vaccination decreases the basic reproduction number, but does not aect the backward bifurcation be- havior. This study also showed that under vaccination and treatment, an endemic equilibrium always occurs when R0 > 1.

        Polyphasic delimitation of a filamentous marine genus, Capillus gen. nov. (Cyanobacteria, Oscillatoriaceae) with the description of two Brazilian species

        Lyngbya C. Agardh ex Gomont is a nonheterocytous cyanobacterial genus whose evolutionary history is still poorlyknown. The traditionally defined Lyngbya has been demonstrated to be polyphyletic, including at least five distinctclades, some of which have been proposed as new genera. Intraspecific diversity is also clearly underestimated in Lyngbyadue to the lack of unique morphological characters to differentiate species. In this study, we describe the new genusCapillus T. A. Caires, C. L. Sant’Anna et J. M. C. Nunes from benthic marine environments, including two new Brazilianspecies (here described as C. salinus T. A. Caires, C. L. Sant’Anna et J. M. C. Nunes, and C. tropicalis T. A. Caires, C. L. Sant’Anna et J. M. C. Nunes), and two species yet to be described, one of them from India (Capillus sp. 2.1), and the otherfrom United States of America, based on strain PCC 7419. Capillus species presented cross-wise diagonal fragmentation,assisted or not by necridic cells, which has not been previously mentioned for Lyngbya. Ultrastructural analyses showedthat C. salinus and C. tropicalis have numerous gas vesicles, which are rarely described for benthic marine species. Thenew genus formed a well-supported clade, and the D1-D1′ and Box B secondary structures of internal transcribed spaceralso supported the proposal of its new species. These findings help to clarify the diversity of species in the Lyngbya complexand the taxonomy of the group, and highlight the need of further floristic surveys in tropical coastal environments,which remain poorly studied.

        IBM's DUV chemically amplified photoresists, APEX M & E were exposed on a Silicon Valley Group Lithographic Systems (SVGL) Micrascan II deep UV step and scan tool interfaced to an SVG true. Resolution to 0.25 um was obtained on a bare silicon substrate with a bottom antireflective coating. These results illustrate the doselfocus windows for nested liner as well as the resolution linearity of the resist. This paper also compares the stability of APEX M c E during delays between expose and past expose bake (PEB) as well as effects clue to other process variables.

        Carcass Characteristics and Chemical Composition of the Longissimus Muscle of Puruna and 1/2 Puruna vs. 1/2 Canchin Bulls Meat Quality of Bulls

        This work was conducted to study the performance, carcass characteristics, chemical composition and fatty acid profile of the Longissimus muscle (LM) of first-generation Purunã (n = 7, PUR1), second-generation Purunã (n = 9, PUR2), and 1/2 Puruna vs. 1/2 Canchin (n = 13, PUCA) bulls finished in a feedlot. The animals averaged 18 months of age at the beginning of the experiment. The animals were kept in a feedlot from 18 to 22 months of age. They were fed twice a day with corn silage ad libitum, along with soybean meal, cracked corn, urea, limestone and mineral salt. PUR1 bulls had greater (p<0.05) final weight (496.0 kg) than PUCA bulls (449.2 kg). However, there was no difference (p>0.05) between PUR1 and PUR2 (472.0 kg), and between PUR2 and PUCA. Hot carcass weight was similar (p>0.05) among the different genetic groups. Hot carcass dressing percentage was similar (p>0.10) between PUR1 (50.4%) and PUCA (53.8%), and higher (p<0.10) than PUR2 (48.6%). Cushion thickness was greater (p<0.05) in PUCA bulls (27.12 cm). The other parameters were similar (p<0.05) among the three genetic groups. Total lipid and cholesterol contents were higher (p<0.01) in PUR2. Moisture, ash and crude protein contents were similar (p>0.05) among the three genetic groups. Saturated fatty acid (SFA) levels were higher (p<0.10) in PUR1 and PUR2 (51.58% and 50.41%, respectively). Polyunsaturated fatty acid levels were higher (p<0.05) in PUR1 and PUCA (6.50% and 8.29%, respectively). N-6, n-3 and PUFA/SFA ratios were higher (p<0.05) in PUCA. MUFA and n-6/n-3 ratios were similar (p>0.05) among the different genetic groups.

        Reliability of panoramic radiography in predicting proximity of third molars to the mandibular canal: A comparison using cone-beam computed tomography

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the reliability of 7 panoramic radiographic signs for predicting proximity of the root apices of mandibular third molars to the mandibular canal using cone-beam computed tomography and to correlate these findings with the Pell and Gregory and the Winter classification systems. Materials and Methods: An observational, cross-sectional, descriptive study was conducted on 74 patients with bilateral impacted mandibular third molars. Four panoramic radiographic signs were observed in the tooth root (darkening, deflection, and narrowing of the root apices, and bifid apices), and another 3 in the mandibular canal (diversion, narrowing, and interruption of the mandibular canal). Cone-beam computed tomography images were analyzed to identify disruption and diversion of the mandibular canal and root deflection. Results: Binary logistic regression showed that only 4 of the 7 panoramic radiographic signs were able to predict proximity of the root apices of the mandibular third molars to the mandibular canal: darkening of the root, deflection of the root, narrowing of the root, and interruption of the mandibular canal(P<0.05). Conclusion: Darkening, deflection, and narrowing of the root, in tandem with the interruption of the mandibular canal on panoramic radiographs, indicate that cone-beam computed tomography should be performed when planning the extraction of impacted mandibular third molars. Proximity between mandibular third molars and the mandibular canal is correlated with the Winter classification.

        Pacing Strategy of Single Scullers during Rowing World Championships

        This study aimed to describe and compare the pacing strategy and performance of world level under 19 (U19), under 23(U23) and senior single scullers during world championship races. Data are from 8 years of Rowing World Championships A and B finals of single scull races for U19, U23 and senior age scullers. Pacing was determined for velocity, stroke rate and, distance per stroke (SD). Scullers presented a fast start strategy for all races investigated. There was no significant difference in pacing between age groups. Velocity peaked at the 100m (U19) and 150m (U23 and senior) mark. The scullers in the older age groups showed superior performance scores of the studied variables. U19, Under 23 and senior single scullers present similar pacing regardless of their age group. Performance of single sculler improve from U19, to U23 to senior for both lightweight and heavyweight classes. The results of this study may serve as a reference for athletes, coaches, and sports scientists to be implemented in training.

        Generating Tourists’ Loyalty in Destinations through Mass Customization, Applied Ordered Logistic Regression

        Tourists’ loyalty is one major and common objective to all competing destinations and tourism companies. Accordingly, this study aims to bring to light the usefulness to pinpoint variables influencing loyalty to tourism destinations, in today’s changing environment. The methodology consists of the application of an ordered logit model, considering loyalty as the dependent variable, to the case of a North African tourism destination with four incoming European markets. Due to the enormous differences identified between selected markets, the study concludes that responsible bodies could select and focus on specific factors impacting on each market, to optimize potential ‘confirmed’ fidelity of tourists to their destinations. Thus, the aim is to generate loyalty through the mass personalization of products.

        Multiple myeloma is the second most frequent hematologic tumour and represents about 1% of all tumours, with a medium diagnosis age of 70 years. Usually, it presents as anaemia, bone pain, hyperkalemia e kidney failure. Infection susceptibility is most obvious about 2-3 months after the initial diagnosis and after chemotherapy, but it is rarely described as being a form of acute presentation. In this article, we present the clinical case of a patient with initial diagnosis of Streptoccus pneumoniae pneumonia, that then turned into a diagnosis of smoldering myeloma. It is important to consider the possibility of multiple myeloma in middle-aged patients, previously healthy, that present with acute bacterial infection, without an evident predisposing factor.
