        論文(론문) : 조선의 名醫 유이태(劉以泰,劉爾泰) 연구

        Objective: Two famous medical doctors, Yoo Itae(以泰, 爾泰) and Riu Euitae(義泰), have been well known in academic world and public in Sancheong-gun. Yoo Itae is the progenitor of Majinhak which is the therapy for measles, he wrote a “Majinpyun” as the first book of therapy for measles in Chosun. Riu Euitae, meanwhile, is a fictional medical doctor and a teacher of Heo Jun who became real without confirmation of historical truths by Roh Jeongwoo who heard about a name, Yoo Itae. Roh`s assertion was quoted in the report of literatures, papers, novel, and telecast without verification. His assertion is exposed in novel and media and it has seriously distorted the history. The purpose of this study is to rectify the historical distortion. Methods: Various references study was performed. Confirmed a family tree, birth and death year, birthplace, sepulture, words on a tombstone, writing, collections of works anthology and the existence of keepsake. Investigated records of royal family, Sancheong-gun papers, Sancheong Hyanggyo papers, Dongyuhagan, Chosun Hanryuseungram and the record of Sawoo Munjip(anthology). Analyzed Roh Jungwoo`s conversation that tells Riu Euitae is a teacher of Heo Jun and contents of an encyclopedia. Listened to testimony of descendants and assertions of historian in rural area. Verified voice recording on books taken from at birthplace and the space of activity. Results: Yoo Itae is well shown in various records and medical writing books, whereas Riu Euitae does not. Riu Euitae is not a real person in the history. Roh Jeongwoo who asserts Riu Euitae is a teacher of Heo Jun admits his mistake. But, the encyclopedia record describing Riu Euitae is a teacher of Heo Jun, government official at Sancheong district office, historians in rural area, historians in rural area who made a family shrine, gravestone, a statue, memorial, historic site of Riu Euitae on Jinju Rui could not suggest any evidences for the existence of Riu Euitae and for record Riu Euitae is a teacher of Heo Jun. Conclusion : Riu Euitae is neither a real person in the history nor a teacher of Heo Jun. Riu Euitae came from pronunciation confusion between ‘I’ and ‘Eui’ in Kyungsang province. Riu Euitae is Yoo Itae on Geochang Yoo who was a medical doctor of King, Sukjeong and wrote medical books including <Majinpyun>, <Silheomdanbang>, <Inseomungyunrog>.

Interpreting and Translation Studies 10-1, pp.29-55 본 연구는 우선 번역학의 맥락 안에서 실행 연구(action research)가 차지하는 또는 차지할 수 있는 잠재적 위치를 규명하고, 한영 번역 강의에서의 코퍼스 기반 실험을 제안한다. 통번역 전공 석사 과정생들이 피험자로 참여하는 이 실험에서는, 관광 브로슈어에서 발췌한 네 개의 원천 텍스트(source text)를 네 가지의 다른 환경[병렬 코퍼스(parallel corpus), 유관 코퍼스(comparable corpus), 병렬 + 유관 코퍼스, 코퍼스 없음]에서 번역한다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 실행 연구 접근법의 실험이 성공적으로 실행될 경우, 한영 번역 강의에서의 코퍼스의 역할을 어느 정도 규명할 수 있을 것으로 예상한다. 즉, 실험을 통해 1) 코퍼스가 번역 교강사/학생에게 유의한 번역 보조 도구인지, 2) 병렬, 유관 코퍼스 중, 어떤 것이 번역 교육에 보다 유의한지, 나아가 양자 간의 차이는 무엇인지, 3) 코퍼스를 사용하는 학생들의 번역을 보다 향상시키기 위해서는 어떻게 해야 하는지 등을 알아볼 수 있을 것으로 내다보인다.

        Numerical Analysis of Radio‑Frequency Inductively Coupled Plasma Spheroidization of Titanium Metal Powder Under Single Particle and Dense Loading Conditions

        In order to allow more practical prediction of RF (radio-frequency)–ICP (inductively coupled plasma) spheroidizationresults of titanium metal powder, numerical analyses under single particle and dense loading conditions were carried outand the results were compared. First, both of the numerical results for Ar inductively coupled plasma with the power levelof 30 kW revealed that the injected particles can experience not only spheroidization by melting, but also size reduction byevaporation. In addition, this size reduction was found to strongly depend on the initial sizes of the injected particles, due tothe relatively short heating time. For example, the 100 μm Ti particles were computed to hardly experience size reduction byevaporation regardless of feeding rates. However, relatively small Ti particles < 100 μm can be rapidly heated up to boilingpoints during the short flight of plasma, resulting in the size reduction by the surface evaporation. In particular, numericalresults under dense loading condition showed that the final sizes of these small Ti particles can be changed depending onthe feeding rate. For example, a single 60 μm Ti particle was calculated to be a 51 μm spherical Ti particle due to the excessiveheating. However, with the increase of feeding rate up to 1.0 kg/h, the final sizes of the as-treated Ti powder couldbe improved to 55 μm due to the plasma temperatures decreasing through complicated plasma–particle interactions. Bypredicting the relationships between the feeding rates and the initial diameters of Ti powders at a given plasma power level,numerical modellings under single particle and dense loading conditions can help in optimizing the RF–ICP spheroidizationprocess of titanium metal powder.

        Teaching Consecutive Interpreting at the Undergraduate Level

        The present study describes my experience of applying theory to a performance-oriented class titled Intensive English-into-Korean Consecutive Interpreting for third-year students at an undergraduate T&I program and demonstrates how applying theoretical models to a performance-oriented class assists both instructors and students to better identify where students need to improve in their consecutive interpreting (CI) performance. More specifically, this paper i) combines the various theories of CI suggested in the literature; ii) proposes an integrated model of CI; and iii) applies the model to my class and reviews the results through the means of (original speech vs. student interpreting performance) text analysis, retrospective student journals, and in-class discussions. The suggested integrated model of CI assumes that many students often fail to realize that CI is a very complex multi-tasking act and that the ultimate goal of CI education is to enable autonomous or self-directed learning. Through the means of the integrated model of CI and other educational tools, this paper suggests that students can learn how to evaluate their own CI performances and thus in due course realize autonomous learning.

        골프지도자의 변혁적 리더십이 학생골프선수의 교육만족과 기술만족에 미치는 영향

        This study intends to clarify the causal relation that golf instructor’s innovative leadership has on satisfaction in education & satisfaction in technique of middle school & high school student golfers training in golf academy. The purpose is to provide student golfers with basic data which help golf academy instructor improving leadership & which can develop golfers to excellent players. The target of study are 305 student golfers who are training in golf academy after affiliating in Korea Middle School & High School Golf Federation. Data was processed with frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis(EFA), reliability analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis by using SPSS 25.0 Window Version. As a result, first, it is found that golf academy instructor’s innovative leadership has significant influence on student golfer’s satisfaction in education. Second, it is found that golf academy instructor’s innovative leadership has significant influence on student golfer’s satisfaction in technique.

        Thin-walled muLticell box girders subjected to an eccentric load can be produced the three global behaviors of flexure, torsion, and distortion. Specially in railway bridges subjected to much eccentric load, it is quite important to evaluate influences of torsion and distortion. But it is very difficult to evaluate each influences of major behaviors numerically. If we can decompose an eccentric load P into flexural, torsional, and distortional forces, we can execute quantitative analysis each influences of major behaviors. Decomposition of Applied Load for Thin-walled Rectangular multi-cell box girders is reserched by Park, Nam-Hoi(Development of a multicell Box Beam Element Including Distortional Degrees of Freedom, 2003). But researches about trapezoidal multi-cell section is insufficient. So, this paper deals with multi-cell trapezoidal box girders. An expanded method, which is based on the force decomposition method for a single-cell box girder given by Nakai and Yoo, is developed herein to decompose eccentric load P into flexural, torsional, and distortional forces. Derive formulas by decomposition of eccentric load is verified by 3D shell-modelling numerical analysis.

        형질전환 제초제저항성 벼 밀양 204호의 농업적 특성

        밀양 204호는 작물과학원 영남농업연구소 생명공학연구팀이 직파적응 제초제저항성 벼 품종을 육성할 목적으로 '98년 bar 유전자를 동진벼에 아그로박테리움법으로 형질 전환하여 제초제저항성 벼를 양성하였다. '98/'99년 동계에 단간 내도복 양질인 주남벼를 인공교배하여 약배양 등 육종프로그램에 적용하여 우량계통을 선발하고 밀양 204호로 계통명을 부여하였다. GM 벼와 Non-GM 벼의 농업적 특성을 UPOV 및 국립종자관리소의 품종등록 기준에 따른 농업적특성 중 차이가 있었던 것은 엽색도, 지엽의 형태, 간장, 수당립수 등 이었다. This study was conducted to investigated the major characteristics of genetically modified rice of 'Milyang 204' originated from Dongjinbyeo compared to a non-transgenic rice varieties Dongjinbyeo and Jun-ambyeo. Basta resistant transgenic rice lines carrying bar gene produced by the Yeongnam Agricultural Research Institute were evaluated for their agronomic characters. The transgenic Japonica rice of 'Milyang 204' showed inferior phenotypic traits compared to a non-transgenic rice variety Dongjinbyeo and Junambyeo. On the basis of UPOV (Union Internationale Pour la Protaection des Obtentions Vegetables) and NSMO(National Seed Management Office) the transgenic 'Milyang 204' showed difference in some traits out of some agronomic traits, such as leaf color, angle of flag leaf, number of spikelets, culm length, white core and white belly compared to the non-transgenic varieties rice.

        가스크로마토그래피-이온트랩질량분석법을 이용한 하수슬러지 중 다핵방향족탄화수소(PAHs) 함량 분석

        The polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs) content in sewage sludge was determined by gas chromatography linked to ion trap mass spectrometry(GC/ITMS) with five deuterated PAHs as internal standards. The minimum detection limit was from 1.66 to 7.14 pg for individual PAH by GC/ITMS. For determining total PAHs(ΣPAH) in sewage sludge 84 samples from 74 waste water treatment plants in whole country were analyzed. The average content of ΣPAH for whole samples was 3,289±3,098 ㎍/kg, and ranged from 142 to maximum 20,102 ㎍/kg. According to the number of population of the city, the areas were classified as five regions, ie. big, large, middle, small, and rural area in which the waste water treated plants were grown. The contents of PAHs were 4,689±5,503, 5,839±6,401, 3,725±2,053, 2,237±2,069, and 2,475±1,489 ㎍/kg, in big, large, middle, small, and rural area, respectively.
