The wrong posture will reduce the balance of the efficiency and muscles of the body, giving a lot of stress to the various parts of the body. In order to correct the wrong posture, appropriate exercise management is necessary. In this paper, posture evaluation is carried out based on ideal placement of human anatomy, and analysis of muscular condition which becomes the cause of posture abnormality with a customized exercise program that we developed. Also, we designed a posture monitoring system that can execute appropriate exercise program even at home. This system is interlocked with web cameras, providing comparative analysis of the user"s real-time exercise posture and correct exercise posture, the administrator confirms the appearance of exercise and support continuous calibration and feedback with a smart home care system.

Objective : The purpose of this case is to report the improvement of a patient with acute paralytic ileus with past history of mild depressive episode after acupuncture therapy and herbal medicine. Methods : We treated the patient, who had acute abdominal pain and were diagnosed as paralytic ileus, with acupuncture, herbal medicine and manipulation therapy. We observed changes of chief symptoms and abdominal states. Results : We treated the patient who had severe abdominal pain, constipation and anorexia caused by acute paralytic ileus. For about one month of the treatment, we had the improvement of the symptoms. Conclusions : This study suggests that Conservative korean medical treatment might be useful for abdominal pain caused by acute paralytic ileus, and make a patient feel psychological stability.

This paper proposes a new DFA methodology that can estimate the standard assembly time and evaluate the assemblability of parts for small-sized product. We decide some determining and influencing factors related with assembly process and measure the assembly time using motion analysis to estimate of assemblability. We deduce quantitative score of assemblability through analysis of a correlation between determining factors and grade of influencing factors.

Purpose: To evaluate the predictability of intraocular lens (IOL) power calculations using the IOLMaster and four different IOL power calculation formulas (Haigis, Hoffer Q, SRK II, and SRK/T) for cataract surgery in eyes with a short axial length (AL). Methods: The present study was a retrospective comparative analysis which included 25 eyes with an AL shorter than 22.0 mm that underwent uneventful phacoemulsification with IOL implantation from July 2007 to December 2008 at Seoul National University Boramae Hospital. Preoperative AL and keratometric power were measured by the IOLMaster, and power of the implanted IOL was determined using Haigis, Hoffer Q, SRK II, and SRK/T formulas. Postoperative refractive errors two months after surgery were measured using automatic refracto-kera-tometry (Nidek) and were compared with the predicted postoperative power. The mean absolute error (MAE) was defined as the average of the absolute value of the difference between actual and predicted spherical equivalences of postoperative refractive error. Results: The MAE was smallest with the Haigis formula (0.37±0.26 diopter [D]), followed by those of SRK/T (0.53±0.25 D), SRK II (0.56±0.20 D), and Hoffer Q (0.62±0.16 D) in 25 eyes with an AL shorter than 22.0 mm. The proportion with an absolute error (AE) of less than 1 D was greatest in the Haigis formula (96%), followed by those in the SRK II (88%), SRK-T (84%), and Hoffer Q (80%). Conclusions: The MAE was less than 0.7 D and the proportion of AE less than 1 D was more than 80% in all formulas. The IOL power calculation using the Haigis formula showed the best results for postoperative power prediction in short eyes.
Identification of Gene Networks with Time Delayed Regulation Based on Temporal Expression Profiles

There are fundamental limitations in inferring the functional interaction structure of a gene (regulatory) network only from sequence information such as binding motifs. To overcome such limitations, various approaches have been developed to infer the functional interaction structure from expression profiles. However, most of them have not been so successful due to the experimental limitations and computational complexity. Hence, there is a pressing need to develop a simple but effective methodology that can systematically identify the functional interaction structure of a gene network from time-series expression profiles. In particular, we need to take into account the different time delay effects in gene regulation since they are ubiquitously present. We have considered a new experiment that measures the overall expression changes after a perturbation on a specific gene. Based on this experiment, we have proposed a new inference method that can take account of the time delay induced while the perturbation affects its primary target genes. Specifically, we have developed an algebraic equation from which we can identify the subnetwork structure around the perturbed gene. We have also analyzed the influence of time delay on the inferred network structure. The proposed method is particularly useful for identification of a gene network with small variations in the time delay of gene regulation.
