In this study, the decarboxylation conditions were optimized using the reaction surface methodology analysis method to optimize the cannabidiolic acid (CBD-A) to cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THC-A) to tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) conversion rate. A total of 13 decarboxylated samples obtained for each condition were analyzed using HPLC. As a result, the CBD to CBD-A ratio was highest in the reaction temperature 120℃ and reaction time 140min decarboxylation conditions. The THC to THC-A ratio was the highest in the reaction temperature 90℃ and reaction time 180min decarboxylation conditions. As a result of response surface analysis (R²>0.95), the optimal decarboxylation conditions of the dependent variable that maximized the two independent variables were reaction temperature 128℃ and reaction time 52min. In the case of CBD to CBD-A ratio, the most relevant dependent variable was reaction temperature. As the reaction temperature increased, the CBD to CBD-A ratio tended to increase.

The introduction of renewable energy sources into the AC grid can change and weaken the strength of the grid, which will in turn affect the stability and robustness of the doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) wind farm. When integrated with weak grids, the DFIG wind turbine with vector power control often suffers from poor performance and robustness, while the DFIG wind turbine with synchronized control provides better stability. This paper investigates the critical short circuit ratios of DFIG wind turbine with vector power control and synchronized control, to analyze the stability boundary of the DFIG wind turbine. Frequency domain methods based on sensitivity and complementary sensitivity of transfer matrix are used to investigate the stability boundary conditions. The critical capacity of DFIG wind farm with conventional vector power control at a certain point of common coupling (PCC) is obtained and is further increased by employing synchronized control properly. The stability boundary is validated by electromagnetic transient simulation of an offshore wind farm connected to a real regional grid.
Enhanced Second-order Implicit Constraint Enforcement for Dynamic Simulations

This paper proposes a second-order implicit constraint enforcement method which yields enhanced controllability compared to a first-order implicit constraints enforcement method. Although the proposed method requires solving a linear system twice, it yields superior accuracy from the constraints error perspective and guarantees the precise and natural movement of objects, in contrast to the first-order method. Thus, the proposed method is the most suitable for exact prediction simulations. This paper describes the numerical formulation of second-order implicit constraints enforcement. To prove its superiority, the proposed method is compared with the firstorder method using a simple two-link simulation. In this paper, there is a reasonable discussion about the comparison of constraints error and the analysis of dynamic behavior using kinetic energy and potential energy.
SOA Platform in Ubiquitous Factory Concept

A next generation concept of manufacturing environment called Ubiquitous Factory was proposed last year. This concept was introduced with the purpose of harmonious integration of people and machines for an environment where human creativity, expertise, and experience can exert influence on making more valuable accomplishments with the aid of ubiquitous information technologies. Ubiquitous Factory concept can be defined as a collection of u-Services (Ubiquitous Services) where each u-Service serves a specific purpose in building Ubiquitous Factory and is designed by integrating ubiquitous information technologies to serve the purpose. As various u-Services emerge and as these u-Services contain elements of ubiquitous information technologies where various forms and large quantities of data has to be sent and received, the need for efficient development of u-services, efficient handling of large amount of data transfer and reducing the effort of software development have emerged. In this paper, I propose a concept of Service- Oriented-Architecture in the view of Ubiquitous Factory concept in order to handle the emerging needs mentioned above.
H∞ Containment Control of Multi-agent Systems with Random Communication Time-varying Delay

This paper investigates the H∞ containment control problem of multi-agent systems with random communication time-delay. The information exchanges between the agents are supposed to be randomly delayed, characterized by a Bernoulli distribution sequence. And a neighbor-based protocol with random communication delay is proposed. As external perturbation exits broadly in many practical systems, the paper deals with it by using H∞ control theory. By applying stochastic technique, Lyapunov analysis and the free-weighting matrices technique, theoretical results show that the followers will ultimately converge to the convex hull spanned by the leaders in the mean square sense with a prescribed H∞ performance index. Finally, a numerical example is given to demonstrate the validity of the theoretical results.
