Milos Arsenovic,Romi F. Shamoyan 대한수학회 2013 대한수학회보 Vol.50 No.5
We present various new sharp assertions on multipliers in mixed norm, weighted Hardy and new Lizorkin-Triebel spaces of har- monic functions in higher dimension. Some results are new even in oned- imensional case.

In this letter, a wireless communication system with microdiversity and macrodiversity reception in gamma-shadowed Rician fading channels is considered. Exact and rapidly converging infinite-series expressions for the average level crossing rate and average fade duration at the output of the system are provided. Numerical results are presented graphically to illustrate the proposed mathematical analysis and to examine the effects of the system’s parameters on the quantities considered.

The aim of this work was to prepare a new biodegradable polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB) submicron fiber mat loaded with hypericin-rich Hypericum perforatum raw extract by centrifugal spinning technology, an alternative approach to the traditional method of electrospinning to fabricate nanofibers or microfibers from solutions at high speed and low cost. Hypericins in methanol/acetone extract of H. perforatum were determined by UHPLC-MS/MS and HPLC/PDA. Submicron fiber mats composed of pure PHB or PHB enriched with H. perforatum extract were prepared using a pilot plant demonstrator for the centrifugal spinning technology and characterized by SEM. Singlet oxygen production was quantified by the 1,3-diphenylisobenzofuran (DPIBF) method in hexane. The results proved a significant production of singlet oxygen by the prepared submicron fiber mat. We also found a significant antibacterial activity against the bacterial strain Escherichia coli CCM 5417 by a method in accordance with JIS Z 2801/ISO 22196 standards. The H. perforatum extract-enriched PHB submicron fiber mats showed potential for the development of self-cleaning and antimicrobial air filters.

We prove some sharp extremal distance results for functions in various spaces of analytic functions on bounded strictly pseudoconvex domains with smooth boundary. Also, we obtain atomic decompositions in multifunctional Bloch and weighted Bergman spaces of analytic functions on strictly pseudoconvex domains with smooth boundary, which extend known results in the classical case of a single function.

Dragica Spasojevic,Milos Prokopijevic,Olivera Prodanovic,Nevena Zelenovic,Natalija Polovic,Ksenija Radotic,Radivoje Prodanovic 한국고분자학회 2019 Macromolecular Research Vol.27 No.8
Derivatives of xylans were synthesized from corncob xylan by carboxymethylation, oxidization with different molar ratios of periodate (5, 10 15 and 20 mol%) and by reductive amination with tyramine. Modifications of tyramine carboxymethyl xylans (Tyr-CMX) were confirmed by FTIR, UV and NMR spectra. Concentration of ionizable groups increased from 1.5 mmol/g for carboxymethyl xylan (CMX) to 5.4 mmol/g for Tyr-CMX oxidized with 20 mol% of periodate. All Tyr- CMXs were able to form hydrogels the cross-linking reaction with horseradish peroxidase and peroxide. Tyr-CMXs were tested for amyloglucosidase (AG) encapsulation within hydrogel microbeads obtained in a reaction of emulsion polymerization with peroxidase. Average diameter of Tyr-CMX hydrogel microbeads was 52±25 μm and after encapsulation optimization with respect to the extent of CMX modification with tyramine, the concentration of Tyr-CMX, and the amount of added AG, microbeads with AG specific activity of 2 U/mL and 20% yield of immobilization were obtained. The optimum pH of the immobilized AG was not changed compared to the soluble one, while half-life at 60 oC was increased around 10 times. The Michaelis-Menten constant for the immobilized enzyme, 1.03 mM, was significantly lower than that for the soluble one, 1.54mM. After 5 cycles of repetitive use in batch reactor, the immobilized AG retained 68% of initial activity.
An additive manufacturing benchmark artifact and deviation measurement method
Nikola Vorkapic,Milos Pjevic,Mihajlo Popovic,Nikola Slavkovic,Sasa Zivanovic 대한기계학회 2020 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.34 No.7
Additive manufacturing (AM) is established as a new class for fabricating 3D physical prototypes layer by layer. Given that a large number of different 3D printers (AM machines) are present now (as a product of renowned manufacturers or custom-made products), the design of a benchmark artifact for evaluation of the AM processes is very important. This implies quality evaluation of the capabilities and limitations of each AM process and also the geometrical testing of the 3D printers. The paper proposes a benchmark artifact, according to the criteria for modeling of the benchmark artifact, with a large number of basic features for its geometrical evaluation. Although there are a large number of commercial software packages, this paper also proposes a low-cost developed measurement method of geometrical deviation that could be also adjustable for requirements in an easy way. Verification of the proposed deviation measurement method has been done by several experiments. The experiments include fabrication of the proposed benchmark artifact on available 3D printers by an FFF (fused filament fabrication) process also known as FDM (fused deposition modeling), and after that its scanning. Verification is done by comparing quality evaluation of each fabricated part by developed method and commercial software.

Background: We evaluated technique of hepatic resections using suprahilar-extrafascial dissection of Glissonean pedicle with vascular stapling device for pedicle transection with intent to minimize operative time and blood loss. Methods: We analyzed the clinical records of 326 patients who underwent anatomic liver resection by suprahilar-extrafascial pedicle isolation with vascular stapling division technique. Results: The minor liver resections were associated with significantly shorter surgery duration (105.1±21.1 vs. 225.6±75.6) and transection time (40.1±14.5 vs. 96.3±55.2) than major hepatectomies (p<0.0001 for all). The mean blood loss was 350.8±100.5 mL in minor resection and 485.4±250.2 mL in major resection (p=0.001). The mean blood transfusion requirement was 400.8±109.5 mL for minor resections and 550.9±100.0 mL for major hepatectomy (p=0.072). There was no significant difference in morbidity and mortality between groups (p=0.980; p=0.945). Major as well as minor liver resection were oncology superior with no significant difference in the 5-year overall survival rates. Conclusion: Suprahilar-extrafascial dissection of Glissonean pedicle represents an effective and safe technique of liver resection. Presented approach allows early and easy ischemic delineation of appropriate liver territory to be removed with selective inflow vascular control. It is not time consuming and it is very useful in re-resection, as well as oncological reasonable.
