Studies in Phonetics, Phonology and Morphology 6.2, 333-352 In Korean, at the beginning of an accentual phrase, aspirated and tense consonants correlate with a high tone and lax and voiced consonants correlate with a low tone. The correlation has been hard to explain because lax consonants are voiceless initially, yet they pattern with voiced consonants instead of voiceless ones. In this paper, I argue that lax consonants are voiced underlyingly and that the consonant tone correlation is the familiar voiceless-high and voiced-low. My proposal also offers a simpler way to analyze Korean stops without the feature [tense]. (Korea University)

폐슬러지 실리콘 분말을 이용한 질화규소 합성

In this study, silicon nitride was fabricated from sludged silicon powders with nitrogen gas. Silicon nitride whiskers were synthesized from sludged silicon powders by heat-treating at 1200, 1300, and 1400℃ for several hours. Silicon nitride whiskers of variety size were fabricated, and these were well synthesized at higher temperature. Characteristics of the fabricated silicon nitride was analized by XRD and SEM.

In the word, cognition, we can find the way reception and the utility of the information and the lesson. In the aesthetics on the dialogic imagination, we can find the same conditions of the theory of the literature There are answerable subject about the relations of the between the author and and the character in story, the work and the epoch, and the reader and the work. Above all we have to consciously choose the social interesting vocabulary. I have an interest in the process of the addresser and the addressee. Because there are social and psycological problems about the linguistics, we can observe the cognitive content of the the dialogic image in the text. So to speak, in the backward of the observation about the process which is made of insight over the universe, we can indicate lyrical genres. Because there are many sources in the lyrical genre, we can contact the horizontal expectation. First, the way flexible thought, second, the depth of the meditation over the world, third, poetic and linguistic structure. In these conditions, we can overcome the conflict in the dialogic process from the accepting the lyrical genres There will not be avoided lyrical genres in order to receive the exceptable horizon. In the ancient time, there was an aesthetics of 孔子. In odor to compare with the western aesthetics of the reception and the expression and the complete consulting Ethos. So to speak, first, aesthetic styles in the expression are "禮" and "意", second, the aesthetic explication in the artificial langues are "知" and "情", and third, the both of the utterance will be composed completely unite in order to change the horizontal level of the addressee and the reader's spiritual mind. In this thesis, we have to recognize the fact which is important aspects of the addresser, leader of the social and academic group, and the author's mind. Above all there will be much interest about the aesthetic word which is composed of the reading and the perception over the world and the experience in the dialogic imagination.

Backeround : When surgeons Plan mandible ortho surgery for patients with skeletal class Ⅲ facial asymmetry, they must be consider the exact method of surgery for correction of the facial asymmetry. Three-dimensional (3D) CT imaging is efficient in depicting specific structures in the craniofacial area. It reproduces actual measurements by minirmzing errors from patient movement and allows for image magnification Due to the rapid development of dieital image technology and the expansion of treatment range, rapid progress has been made in the study of three-dimensional facial skeleton analysis. The purpose of this study was to conduct 3D CT image comparisons of mandible changes after mandibular surgery in facial asymmetry patients Materials & methods : This study included 7 patients who underwent 3D CT before and after correction of facial asymmetry in the oral and maxillofacial surgery department of Yeungnam Umversity Hospital between August 2002 and November 2005 Patients included 2 males and 5 females, with ages ranging from 16 years to 30 years (average 21.4 years). Frontal CT images were obtained before and after surgery, and changes in mandible angle ancI length were measured. Results : When we compared the meaisurements obtained before and after mandibular surgery in facial asymmetry patients, correction of facial asymmetry was identified on the "after" images. The mean difference between the right and left mandibular angles before mandibular surgery was 7˚, whereas after mandibular surgery it was 1.5˚. The right and left mandibular length ratios subtracted from 1 was 0.114 before mandibular surgery, while it was 0.036 after mandibular surgery The differences were analyzed using Llie nonparametric test and the Wilcoxon signed ranks test (p<0.05) Conclusion : The system that has been developed produces an accurate three-dimensional representation of the skull, upon which individualized surgery of the skull and jaws is easily Performed. The syslem also permits accurate measurement and monitoring of postsurgical changes to the face and jaws through reproducible and noninvasive means.

It's so important for the great poet to express the harmonized image. Beacause the details pf the imitative for the natural things is aspect of the poet's philsophy. We can exam into details about the poetic texture in the pure poetry, because there are expressing about the reflexive lives. Above all the contemporary poet has an expressing thechnique it's important for us to investigate in the common poetic texture. Because the poet wnats to show something serious through the feature lives. The poet Keum-Jeong has a spiritual contemplation Budda. We can meet the situation camly about the nonexpectable conflict in our lives via of the spritual scene. In my thesis, I could classify the poetic texture between the poetic 'light' and 'sound' : The beautiful harmony of the view, a visual image and the audio, an acoustic image are installed in the poetic lobos. In addiicn to the fact, there were poetic situation for the Buddhism. Above all the great poet's point of view of the religion is important for us to create the sucessful lives. Because Keum-Jeong, the Korean contemporary poet can express the harmony sensible for the natural aspects in his work, so to speak 'light' and 'sound' are well matched at the same time and place. we can imaglne expecting Horizon of the serious lives. He is the most important poet for expressing poetic technique rounded philosophy.

The humanistic criticism symbolizes 'the order' and 'the tradition' in 1930's Korea. We can find the harmony of the expression. As far as we can fond so frighten inventions. scientific discoveries, convenient instruments of the German greatness, understand the utterance of Walt Whitman. The Poong - Liew(風流), as a epocal feelings made the developments and the consciousness for the history and the common people. Especially we have to remember about the existence of the individuality through the Universality. Because of the process of the criticism is the evaluation for the real behavior. Without the limitation of the epocal in 1930's. we need the eternity in the human life as 'the same centralism' in the Universe. Just now there will be able to Synthese for our whole life.

완화형 강유전성 Pb(Fe_(1/2)Nb_(x/8)Ta_(4-x/8))O₃세라믹스의 합성

Relaxor ferroelectrics solid solutions that do not exhibit abrupt phase transition temperatures show high dielectric constants at wide range of temperatures, due to their broad phase transition properties. These relaxor ferroelectrics solid solutions have complex perovskite structure of A(B´B˝)O₃, by incorporating two cations in B-site at the base perovskite structure of ABO₃. A-site and B´-site were filled with Pb^(2+) and Fe^(3+), respectively, and B˝-site with different ratios of Nb^(5+) and Ta^(5+), to investigate the effect of the ratio of B˝-site cations on the phase transformation of the Pb(Fe_(1/2)Nb_(x/8)Ta_(4-x/8))O₃(PFNT). The result of the fabricated PFNT, analyzed by XRD and SEM, showed regular and irregular grain boundary phases depending on the ratio of B˝-site cations.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the possible efficacy of Nd-YAG laser as a dentin conditioner by observing the laser irradiation dentin surface under scanning elestron micrograph and measuring shear bond strength of restored light-cured glass ionomer mold. Fifty intact premolars were prepared for shear bond strength tests. The teeth were randomly divided into five groups as follows; Group Ⅰ. no treatment Group Ⅱ. 10% polyacrylic acid, 20 sec Group Ⅲ. laser treatment 2 w, 20 ㎐, 2 sec Group Ⅳ. laser treatment 2 w, 20 ㎐, 5 sec Group Ⅴ. laser treatment 2 w, 20 ㎐, 10 sec Samples of each froup were restored with light-cured glass ionomer cement after dentin conditioning and then measuring the shear bond strenght of each specimen were measured using universal testing machine. Additional ten premoarls were prepared for SEM analysis The result from the this study can be summarized as follows. 1. Shear bond strength of polyacrylic acid-treated group (Ⅱ) was significantly higher than other froupa (p<0.05). 2. No statistically significant difference could be found between three laser-treated groups (Ⅲ,Ⅳ,Ⅴ) in shear bond strength(p>0.05). 3. According to the result of observation under SEM, Polyacrylic acid was shown tohave removed the smear layer effectively and opened the dentinal tubules, whereas the laser has produced the irregular mainly composed of melted and fused structure. The microcracks found in laser-treated groups increased in number with irradiation time and formed the regular mesh-type in 10 sec-irradiation group. 4. The ultrastructural change of dentin surface created by laser irradiation was found to the improper for bonding of the glass ionomer restorative materials. And the lower shear bond strength of laser irradiater group might have been due to the failure to form the suitable dentin surface for the glass ionomer to penetrated into and form the proper micromechanical retention.

Microabrasion Techinique을 이용한 치아변색의 치료증례

Tooth discoloration detracts from one's appearance and influences self-image and it is particularly true in children. Therfore, pediatric dentists are required to treat tooth discoloration manifested in children for the normal development of their psycosocial health. Three treatment modalities are currently availabler for the removal of a variety of intrinsic stains from vital teeth. These are enamel microabrasion technique using hydrochloric acid, offece bleaching and home bleaching and home bleaching technique with carbamide. Microabrasion technique has several advantages over bleaching in that it is easy to accomplish and does not require multiple office visits or the expensive instruments and the color change seems to be permanent after treatment. The process relies on decalcification, a softening with HCI and then removal of the enamel containing the stain with rubbing. Due to the mechanism of stain removal,this method is indicated for the removal of superficial enamel stains or discoloration only. We report four successfully treated cases by enamel microabrasion using 15% HCI and pumice. Entire clinical steps are described in detail with some discussions on the outcome.

Between the changement of the epoch and the internal factor of the literature belongs to the characterization of the Author. It was forty-seven years since we were liberated from the Imperial Japan.The author, Soon-Won Hwang has been worked from the epoch under the imprisonment and the suppression of the Japanese imperialistic rule.And the Author, Tong-Kyou Hwang, his son has been worked from the epoch under Republic of Korea.Especially we have to distingulish the point of view between the changement of the epoch and the others. In this comparative study between 1930's and 1990's in Korea, I chose two authors, Soon-Won and Tong-Kyou Hwang from the historical, ideological, and the human relative point of view. There are three types which observe the literary work in the value of Comparative Literature.The first, the style of Expression, the second, the similarity of the thought, the third, the mothod of the human relation.They are Important for explaining about the internal factor of the literature. We can realize the most important thing of the tradition form the whole changements of all.It's something important is the spiritual succession.Above all 「The Awe and Respects」 is the best policy for our own days. Soon-Won Hwang has expressed the spiritualism in his works since he began to write about sixty years ago.In order to observe the 「Flower of the life」 in his poetry, he planted the sacred tree sixty years ago(1930).He made a profound influence in his work and the habit of his common lives.And so his first son, Tong-Kyou has been brought up as a giant tree in the world.We can realize the succession of the spiritualism in Tong-Kyou Hwang's work.The spiritualism is something important for our tradition. On the other hand, we can realize the difference between Soon-Won and Tong Kyou is the vigorous and the concreteness and the fineness.May be Soon-Won could not imagine the liberate travel and the quest under the Japanese imperialistic rule.He has been longed for the changement of the Nature.We can call his poetics, 「The Poetics of the Awaiting」.But there are positive and active and the quest for the complete persona in Tong-Kyou's works. It's differ from the color of the lives of theirs.Soon-Won's is the rainbow colors.It's more fantastic and ideologic and female.The color of Tong-Kyou is the pearly purple colors.It means the Crown Prince.He looks like the son of Tangun.Tangun is the founding father of the Korean ancient nation.Owing to the myth of Tangun's birth, the first Korean State founded by Tangun in 2333 B.C.His father, Hwan-Woong married with the female bear, our progenitor under the Sacred Tree.After Tangun's birth, we began to live the lives owing to the heavenly Spirituslism. Above all, we can realize 「The Spiritualism」 and 「The Awe and Respect」 in Tong-Kyou's works.It's succession from his father, Soon-Won Hwang.In order to our ancient tradition, we have established social morals and customs, We have to be aware of the importance of succession through the new generation.It was an opportunity for realizing about the value of the concreteness and the activity and fineness and the quest from the works.The choice between 1930's and 1990's epochal characterization is presented nowadays.The fulfillment of the spiritualism will be accepted by the contemporary.
