수업 형태에 따른 학습자 만족도 연구 : 대면 수업, 콘텐츠 수업, 실시간 온라인 수업을 중심으로

본 연구는 온라인 교육의 질을 제고할 수 있는 방안을 모색하기 위하여 진행되었다. 이를 위하여 학습자 피드백을 통해 온라인 수업의 설계와 운영에 반영할 수 있는 실증적 근거를 탐색하였다. 연구에서는 대면 수업, 콘텐츠(동영상) 수업, 실시간 온라인 수업 등 수업 형태에 따른 강의 평가 결과와 학습자 만족도를 조사하고, 이 결과에 대한 교수자 성찰을 진행하였다. 대면수업의 강의 평가 결과에서 추출한 대표적 특성은 교수자의 열정과 친절을 직접 확인할 수 있는 수업 형태라는 점이었다. 콘텐츠 녹화 동영상 수업에서는 교수자의 즉각적이고 친절한 피드백에 감사하는 마음을 나타내는 한편 반복 학습이 가능하지만, 집중력 저하, 학습자 본인 노력 부족, 이해 어려움도 많음을 토로하였다. 실시간 온라인 수업에서 학생들은 질문에 답해주고 수업에 적극적으로 참여하도록 유도하는 교수자의 모습을 경험할 수 있었다고 응답하였다. 만족도 조사에서 나타난 수업 형태별 개선점은 학습자 영역, 교수자 영역, 학교 영역으로 나누어 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 학습자의 자기주도 학습능력 향상의 중요성을 나타냈으며, 이를 위한 구체적인 학습자 지원 방안을 마련해야 함을 시사하고 있다. 연구자들은 위의 연구 내용을 바탕으로 이후 수업에 반영할 수 있는 구체적 방안을 모색하였다.

Implementation of Pseudo Golf Club and Virtual Golf Simulation System

In this study, we propose a pseudo golf club which can sense user's swing motion and virtual golf simulation system using the pseudo golf club. The proposed system is a virtual golf simulation system of a complex play type in which a player can enjoy various types of golf play according to the user's taste by providing a play mode for hitting an actual golf ball and a play mode for swinging the pseudo golf club. This virtual golf play system calculates and displays the trajectory of a golf ball by a simulator just like playing a real golf, and suggests suitable swing motion, so it helps users to learn golf easily.

Experiments of Search Query Performance for SQL-Based Open Source Databases

As the use of open source databases grows, so does need to evaluate, the performance of search queries for these databases. This paper compares the search query performance of SQL-based open source databases with commercial databases through experiments. The targets are MySql, MariaDB, and MS-SQL Server. In this study, the execution time of various types of search queries are measured. Also, search query performance was experimented according to change of index and number of tuples. Experimental results show that SQL-based open source databases have the potential to replace commercial databases when indexes are used and the number of tuples is not very large.

Modeling and Implementation of Public Open Data in NoSQL Database

In order to utilize various data provided by Korea public open data portal, data should be systematically managed using a database. Since the range of open data is enormous, and the amount of data continues to increase, it is preferable to use a database capable of processing big data in order to analyze and utilize the data. This paper proposes data modeling and implementation method suitable for public data. The target data is subway related data provided by the public open data portal. Schema of the public data related to Seoul metro stations are analyzed and problems of the schema are presented. To solve these problems, this paper proposes a method to normalize and structure the subway data and model it in NoSQL database. In addition, the implementation result is shown by using MongDB which is a document-based database capable of processing big data.

Development of a Virtual Pitching System in Screen Baseball Game

In recent years, indoor simulated sports have become widely used, and screen baseball system has emerged that can play baseball in indoor space. In this paper, we propose a virtual pitching system that can improve the realism of screen baseball game. This virtual pitching system is characterized in that it uses a transmissive screen in the form of a pitching machine without a pitching hole and installed on the back of the screen. Therefore, unlike existing systems where pitching holes are formed on the screen, it enhances the immersion feeling of displayed images. Also, in this pitching system, the synchronization algorithm between the pitching machine and the virtual pitcher is used to form a sense of unity between the virtual pitcher and the ball according to various types of virtual pitchers, thereby enhancing the reality of baseball games.

세계화 시대 미국-멕시코 국경지대의 여성이주와 젠더폭력

이 연구는 넓은 의미에서 1980년대 이래 급속하게 확산되었던 신자유주의 중심의 세계화와 그로 인한 이주의 문제를 트랜스네셔날(transnational) 시각에서 새롭게 조명하려는 시도로서 탈국가, 탈경계의 맥락 속에서 여성이주의 생활 세계를 통해 오늘날의 세계화(globalization), 지구화의 문제를 젠더, 인종, 계급의 관계망 속에서 분석하고 그 문제점을 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. NAFTA이후 미국-멕시코 국경지대는 세계화, 신자유주의의 문제점을 그대로 드러내는 장소이다. 미국은 마약, 불법이민자, 그리고 자국의 안보의 관점에서 멕시코와 전쟁을 치르고, 멕시코는 마낄라도라 노동의 착취, 성 매매, 여성 살해와 더불어 증가하는 HIV와 에이즈 등의 문제로 고통을 받는다. 특히 국경을 중심으로 발생하는 불법 이민은 코요테와 마약 카르텔에 의한 살해, 폭력, 강간으로 이주민들은 ‘예외상태’에서 어떤 보호도 받지 못하면서 죽음으로 내몰린다. 불법 이주에 성공하더라도 제3세계의 이주민들은 제1세계에서 성 · 인종 · 계급의 측면에서 차별과 배제를 당하며 영원한 타자로 취급된다. 특히 여성의 경우는 남성과 여성이라는 젠더의 측면에서, 백인과 유색인이라는 인종의 측면에서, 그리고 제1세계와 제3세계라는 국가와 계급의 측면에서 세계화의 구조적 폭력에 노출되고 있다. 저임금, 성폭력, 집약적 노동조건 및 열악한 노동환경은 멕시코 여성들을 때로는 죽음에 이르게 하고, 멕시코의 어려운 경제적 환경은 어린 소녀들을 성매매의 현장으로 몰고 간다. 그럼에도 이 책임은 ‘죽음에 이르는 문화논리’나 또는 멕시코의 전통에 기댐으로서 누구의 책임도 아닌 여성들 스스로의 책임으로 돌린다. 이런 문제의식에 기반하여 좁은 의미에서 이 연구는 세계화가 여성에 미치는 영향을 ‘마낄라도라 산업’과 ‘이주의 여성화’를 중심으로 ‘여성노동’의 문제점 그리고 멕시코로부터 미국으로의 밀입국자를 둘러싼 젠더 폭력의 상황을 분석하여 그 문제점을 밝히는 것에 주안점을 둔다. This study is an attempt to illuminate the transnational view of the globalization of the neoliberalism that has been rapidly spreading since the 1980s and its subsequent migration, especially focusing women’s Migration along U.S.-Mexico borderlands. The purpose of this study is to analyze the problems of today’s globalization in the context of gender, race, and class networks and to identify the problems of the economical globalization in related with women’s worker in Maquiladora. After NAFTA, the US-Mexico border is a place that reveals the problems of globalization and neoliberalism. The US is at war with Mexico in terms of drugs, illegal immigrants, and its own security. Mexico, on the other hand, suffers from problems such as the exploitation of maquiladora labor, sex trafficking, and femicide as well as increasing HIV and AIDS. Illegal immigrants, particularly around the border, are killed by coyotes, drug cartels, murder, violence, and rape, while the immigrants do not receive any protection from the “State of Exception”. Even if illegal immigration succeeds, migrants from the Third World are treated as eternal strangers in the First World, subject to discrimination and exclusion in terms of sex, race, and class. In particular, women are exposed to the structural violence of globalization in terms of gender as men and women, in terms of race as white and colored, and in terms of state and class, the first and third worlds. Low wages, sexual violence, intensive working conditions and poor working conditions often lead to the death of Mexican women, and the difficult economic environment in Mexico drives young girls to the scene of prostitution. Nonetheless, this responsibility is attributed to the ‘cultural logic by death’ or to the traditions of Mexico and to the responsibility of women themselves, who are not responsible. In conclusion, based on this consciousness, this study analyzes gender violence through the ‘maquiladora industry’ and ‘feminization of migration’ in a narrow sense based on the consciousness of above problems, and aims to reveal the trpaps of globalization in a broad sense.
