본 연구자들은 이전에 cellulase, xyalnase 및 lichenase의 다기능 효소활성을 지니는 절단된 Cel44C-$Man26A_{P558}$의 ${\beta}$-glycosyl hydrolase를 보고하였다. 본 연구에서는 절단된 Cel44C-$Man26A_{P558}$ 효소의 다기능성 ${\beta}$-glycosyl hydrolase 활성을 증가시키기 위해 DNA shuffling을 시도하였다. DNA shuffling에 의해 단일변이(P438A)를 가진 M2Cel44C-$Man26A_{P558}$와 이중변이(A273T 및 P438A)를 가진 M21Cel44C-$Man26A_{P558}$를 얻었다. 이중변이를 가진 M21Cel44C-$Man26A_{P558}$은 단일변이를 가진 M2Cel44C-$Man26A_{P558}$ 보다 효소활성이 낮게 나타났으나, M2Cel44C-$Man26A_{P558}$와 M21Cel44C-$Man26A_{P558}$은 대조구인 Cel44C-$Man26A_{P558}$ 보다 약 1.3에서 2.2배 정도 높은 효소활성을 나타내었다. 특히, 단일변이를 가진 M2Cel44C-$Man26A_{P558}$는 대조구인 Cel44C-$Man26A_{P558}$보다 cellulase, xylanase 및 lichenase 효소활성이 약 1.5에서 2.2배 정도 높게 나타났다. ${\beta}$-Glycosyl hydrolase의 cellulase, linchenase 및 xylanase 최적 효소활성은 각각 pH 7.0, 7.0 및 6.0에서 이었다. 이러한 결과는, 아미노산 잔기인 Ala438이 다기능성 ${\beta}$-glycosyl hydrolase 활성을 증가시키는 중요한 역할을 한다고 추정할 수 있다. We previously reported that the truncated Cel44C-$Man26A_{P558}$ ${\beta}$-glycosyl hydrolase protein exhibits multifunctional activities, including cellulase, xylanase, and lichenase. DNA shuffling of the truncated Cel44C-$Man26A_{P558}$ enzyme was performed to enhance the enzymatic activity of the multifunctional ${\beta}$-glycosyl hydrolase. Two mutant enzymes, M2Cel44C-$Man26A_{P558}$ that carries one mutation (P438A) and M21Cel44C-$Man26A_{P558}$ that carries two mutations (A273T and P438A) were obtained. The enzymatic activity of the M21Cel44C-$Man26A_{P558}$ double mutant was lower than enzymatic activity of the single mutant (M2Cel44C-$Man26A_{P558}$). However, both mutants displayed the enhancements in their enzyme activities that were ${\approx}1.3$- to 2.2-fold higher than the original enzymatic activity in Cel44C-$Man26A_{P558}$. In particular, the mutant M2Cel44C-$Man26A_{P558}$ exhibited an approximate 1.5- to 2.2-fold increase in the cellulase, xylanase, and lichenase activities in comparison with the control (Cel44C-$Man26A_{P558}$). The optimum cellulase, linchenase, and xylanase activities of ${\beta}$-glycosyl hydrolase were observed at pH 7.0, pH 7.0 and pH 6.0, respectively. These results, therefore, suggest that the amino acid residue Ala438 plays important roles in the enhancement of the activity of multifunctional ${\beta}$-glycosyl hydrolase.
태권도 수련이 초등학생들의 정서, 사회성 및 생활태도에 미치는 영향

The effect of TKD practice upon the sentiment and social manner of elementary school children was researched and the formation period of it was analyzed. To prove that the effect of TKD pratice has educationally much effective of forming the whole man it was made an object of this study that they are made up of 836 children and their 90 parents of elementary school. 4.5.6th grade among apprentices in drill halls of cheju-do was investigated and analyzed. So the following results were conculded. 1. The children and their parents think that in the change of sentiment through TKD practice. TKD practice of one year or more has more effective of improving the general standard of sentimemts of patience.brighness. self - confidence. reduction of a feeling of uneasiness, spiritual strength , control ability of feelings. concentration, etc. than that of three months below or to twelve months. 2. On the change of sociality by TKD practice all the students and their parents think that TKD practice of one year or more has more effective of improving the general standard of sociality of cooperation. sense of responsibility equality. independeuce. faithfulness, friendship, etc than that of three months below or four to twelve months. 3. On the change of manner of living by TKD practice their parents think that TKD practice of one year or more has more effective of elevating manner of living than that of three months below or four to twelve months. 4. Most of their parents agreed that they made their children practice TKD to have great confidence in themselves. By forming the above we can conclude following. For the high development of the change of sentiment, sociality, manner of living through TKD practice it is needed for children to train for more than one year. As most of the elementary school children have grown in the stream of overprotection, not feeling difficulty. they need the course of study for self - denial. including patience, staying power. Their parents make their children practice TKD to elevate spirit and have great confidence in themselves. So the apprentices from elementary school must realize that they can change their mind and behavior as better persons, developing their mind and body together only after they don't give up practicing TKD halfway but should practice TKD for more than one year with patience. And the readers of TKD should develop scientific and logical TKD practice programs, having the sense of mission that they charge themselves with part of education for the whole man in the course of school education.
Species Associations with Spatial Autocorrelation Analysis of Pinus rigida and Pyrola japonica

The spatial distributions of allelic frequencies and ecological traits by randomization were studied in the natural population of two species (Pinus rigida and Pyrola japonica). Both species showed significant positive spatial autocorrelation as measured by Moran's I. In P. rigida, the genetic similarity was shown in individuals within up to a scale of 18 m distance and this is partly due to combination of pollen and seed dispersal by wind or men. In P. japonica, significant spatial autocorrelation was consisted of a scale of 8 m intervals. These population structure in the distribution of allelic frequencies is related to mating systems such as outcrossing and vegetative spread. The results also indicate that positive species associations between P. rigida and P. japonica can occur when both species select the same habitat or require the same environmental conditions.

The present study examined the structure and patterns of ethnic identity in a sample of Korean-Chinese parents and their adolescents residing in the Jilin Province in China. The ethnic identity of these participants(total :148 parents:100 adolesents:48) includes two major components : Korean identity and Chinese identity. Each of these components was measured in three different modalities : behavioral, affective and cognitive. The results are summarized as follow ; 1) Generational comparisons between Korean identity scores of parents and adolescents indicated similarities in the modalities of cognitive and behavioral identities. Both groups shared a Korean orientation manifested in their high level of Korean behavior and cognition. However, both groups also shared a relatively high level of Chinese identity. In summary, dual identity appeared to be preserved over time. The parents scored higher than the adolescents in their affective modality of Korean identity. Chinese identity was scored higher in the adolescents than korean identity in their affective modality. The generational comparisons indicated that the adolescents were acculturated in their affect than their parents. 2) Comparison of men and women in the strength of identity' component showed higher cognitive scores among the men. in Korean identity, compared with Chinese identity. Men were more identified with "Chinese" and "Korean" in the affective component of their identity.
최남선 창가의 문화정치학과 『소년』 계몽기획의 이중적 구도

이 글은 최현식의 『최남선·근대시가·네이션』(소명출판, 2016)의 서평이다. 저자는 이 책을 통해 근대·계몽의 주체(최남선, 근대 매체)와 근대·계몽의 내용(네이션 기획), 근대·계몽의 문학적 형식(근대시가)을 살피고 있다. 최남선과 근대시가, 네이션의 삼각구도를 통해 최남선의 문학 및 문화 기획과 문학 양식의 문제를 검토하고 있는 셈이다. 이 서평은 크게 두 가지 관점에서 이 책을 읽고자 한다. 2장에서는 최남선의 철도창가와 근대 투어리즘의 관계에 대한 저자의 논의를 소개하고 그 특징을 파악하고자 한다. 저자는 최남선이라는 ‘문제’를 그 시기적 추이에 따른 변모를 기본축으로 삼으면서도, 대상 작품들과 그 주제나 창작 시기, 매체적 상동성·상사성을 지닌 대상들을 지속적으로 호출한다. 「경부텰도노래」에 대해서 오오와다 다케키의 「만한철도창가」를, 근대계몽기 한양의 모습에 대해 일제의 시각인 ‘경성’의 표상을, 「세계일주가」에 대해서는 이케베 요시다카의 「세계일주창가」를 호명한다. 이 과정에서 영향 관계가 밝혀지고, 창가의 공통적 특질이 드러나며, ‘문명국이며 제국주의 국가’ 일본의 기차와 ‘문명국이 되고자 노력하는 조선’의 기차가 실어나르는 문명과 역사, 심상지리의 차이가 구별된다. 3장에서는 『소년』의 계몽기획이 중요한 변화를 겪고 있다고 보는 저자의 논리를 따라가고자 한다. ‘소년’을 호출하고 ‘신대한’의 건설을 계획하던 최남선의 계몽기획은 당연히 좌절될 수밖에 없었고, 이에 ‘신대한’이라는 국민국가를 대신할 새로운 이념형의 찾을 필요가 있었다. 저자는 ‘신대한’을 대체한 것이 바로 ‘대조선’이라고 보았다. ‘신대한’이란 국민국가의 수립은 현실과는 무연한 욕망임을 깨달은 최남선이 문화 담론을 통해 그 활로를 개척할 수 있는 민족으로 전환한 결과가 ‘대조선’의 호출이었다는 것이다. 저자의 논리에 따르면 시조의 등장이란 이처럼 ‘대조선’의 정신을 앙양하고 민족의 기원과 영광을 상징하는 ‘대황조(단군)’를 기림으로써 ‘국가 만들기’에서 ‘민족 지키기’로 방향 전환한 최남선식 계몽기획의 필연적 결과였던 셈이다. This writing is a Choi, Hyun-sik’s book review on Choi, Nam-sun Geondaesiganation(Published by Somyung, 2016). Through this book, the author examines the subject (Choi, Nam-sun, modern media), content (Nation Planning) and literary expression form (Modern poem) of modern enlightenment. He reviews on the issues of literature, culture planning and literary form of Choi, Nam-sun through the triangular structure of Choi, Nam-sun Geondaesiganation. The book review is largely divied into two perspectives. Chapter 2 introduces author’s discussion on the relationship between Choi, Nam-sun’s railway song and modern tourism to idenfiy its feature. Chapter 3 follows the author’s logic of that enlightened planning of Boy is going through major changes to observe the characteristic and meaning of this book.

오존은 강력한 산화력을 이용하여 원수중의 미량 유기물질의 성상을 변화시켜 제거시킴으로 해서 THM 전구물질이나 악취물질의 제거에 효과적이다. 그러나 오존은 오염물질을 분해 또는 변화시키는 기능을 갖고 있지만 오염물질을 완전히 제거하는 것이 주목적이 아니기 때문에 오존처리 후에는 활성탄 흡착을 거치도록 하는 것이 일반적이다. 또한 오존은 살균효과가 우수하면서도 THM 등의 미량 유기염소화합물을 생성하지 않는 장점이 있어 대체 살균제로 사용되나 전류성이 없어 대체 살균제로 사용할 경우 급수망에서의 살균을 위해 염소소독을 추가로 실시해 급수망에서 잔류염소를 유지하도록 해야 한다. Ozone is a powerful oxidizing agent that can change properties of trace organic compounds in source water. It can also remove THM precursor or control odor. Although ozone has an ability to degrade contaminants, main purpose of using ozone is not complete destruction of contaminants. After ozone treatment treated water is generally treated with activated carbon absorption process. When ozone is used as a disinfectant. chlorine should be added to water to maintain residual chlorine in distribution lines because ozone disappear very rapidly.

The superficial spreading type of early gastric cancer has usually been defined as an early gastric cancer in which the product of the longest diameter and the diameter perpendicular to it was greater than 25㎠. Although the superficial spreading type of early gastric cancer is histologically aggressive compared with those without such histological aggressiveness, the 5 year survival rate is as good as a non-superficial spreading types of early gastric cancers if the wide surgical resection with extensive lymph node dissection is performed as a treatment. We experienced a case of superficial spreading early gastric cancer in a 59-year-old man. This case is reported with a brief review of related literature.

<P>Although previous studies have shown that mollugin, a bioactive phytochemical isolated from <I>Rubia cordifolia</I> L. (Rubiaceae), exhibits antitumor effects, its biological activity in oral cancer has not been reported. We thus investigated the effects and putative mechanism of apoptosis induced by mollugin in human oral squamous cell carcinoma cells (OSCCs). Results show that mollugin induces cell death in a dose-dependent manner in primary and metastatic OSCCs. Mollugin-induced cell death involved apoptosis, characterized by the appearance of nuclear shrinkage, flow cytometric analysis of sub-G<SUB>1</SUB> phase arrest, and annexin V-FITC and propidium iodide staining. Western blot analysis and RT-PCR revealed that mollugin suppressed activation of NF-<I><I>κ</I></I>B and NF-<I><I>κ</I></I>B-dependent gene products involved in antiapoptosis (Bcl-2 and Bcl-xl), invasion (MMP-9 and ICAM-1), and angiogenesis (FGF-2 and VEGF). Furthermore, mollugin induced the activation of p38, ERK, and JNK and the expression of heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) and nuclear factor E2–related factor 2 (Nrf2). Mollugin-induced growth inhibition and apoptosis of HO-1 were reversed by an HO-1 inhibitor and Nrf2 siRNA. Collectively, this is the first report to demonstrate the effectiveness of mollugin as a candidate for a chemotherapeutic agent in OSCCs via the upregulation of the HO-1 and Nrf2 pathways and the downregulation of NF-<I><I>κ</I></I>B.</P>

Carcinosarcoma of the stomach is regarded as a rare malignant neoplasm composed of both carcinomatous and sarcomatous components in a given tumor. Few cases have been reported since 1904. This is a case of carcinosarcoma of the stomach in a 61-year-old man. He suffered from indigestion, vomiting, and epigastric pain. Endoscopic finding showed a huge protruding mass with intact mucosa on the posterior wall of the antrum up to the pylorus. Surgery was performed and carcinosarcoma with pancreatic invasion was confirmed by pathology.

한국원자력환경공단은 처분시설 내 1단계 인수·저장구역의 인수검사 공간 및 드럼 취급 공간 부족에 대한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 방폐물검사건물을 건설하여 저장·처리능력을 확충할 예정이다. 본 연구에서는 MCNP 코드를 이용하여 방폐물검사 건물 내 저장구역에서 취급하는 해체 방사성폐기물 대상 신형처분용기를 대상으로 작업종사자의 피폭선량을 평가하였다. 평가결과, 시설 내 저장 가능한 최대 용기 개수(304개)와 방사선작업에 대한 연간 예상 작업시간(약 306시간)에 대하여 연간 집단선량은 총 84.8 man-mSv로 계산되었다. 시설 내 총 304개의 신형처분용기(소형/중형 타입)가 저장 완료된 시점에서 인수검사, 처분검사를 위한 작업종사자의 투입인력은 총 25명, 작업종사자 당 예상피폭선량은 연평균 3.39 mSv로 산출 되었다. 소형용기 취급 시 작업종사자의 고방사선량 작업에 따른 작업효율과 방사선적 안전성 확보를 위해서는 콘크리트 라이너의 두께를 증가시키는 추가적인 차폐가 필요할 것으로 평가되었다. 향후 본 연구를 바탕으로 실측기반의 해체폐기 물의 선원항과 특성을 활용하여 방사선작업 당 작업시간 및 투입인력을 산출함으로써 작업종사자의 최적의 방사선작업조건을 도출할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. The Korea Radioactive Waste Agency plans to expand the storage capacity of radioactive waste by constructing a radioactive waste inspecting building to solve the problem of the lack of inspection space and drum-handling space in the radioactive waste receipt and storage building for the first-stage disposal facility. In this study, the exposure doses of radiation workers that handle new disposal containers for decommissioning waste in the storage areas of the radioactive waste inspecting building were calculated using the Monte Carlo N-particle transport code. The annual collective dose was calculated as a total of 84.8 man-mSv for 304 new disposal containers and an estimated annual 306 working hours for the radiation work. When the 304 new disposal containers (small/medium type) were stored in the storage areas, it was found that 25 radiation workers should be involved in acceptance/disposal inspection, and the estimated exposure dose per worker was calculated as an average annual value of 3.39 mSv. When the radiation workers handle the small containers in high-radiation dose areas, the small containers should be shielded further by increasing the concrete liner thickness to improve the work efficiency and radiation safety of the radiation workers. The results of this study will be useful in establishing the optimal radiation working conditions for radiation workers using the source term and characteristics of decommissioning waste based on actual measurements.
