Photocatalytic Decomposition of Toluene Vapor by Bare and TiO2-coated Carbon Fibers
Yuan Luo,김광대,서현욱,Myoung Joo Kim,Wei Sheng Tai,이규환,임동찬,김영독 대한화학회 2010 Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society Vol.31 No.6
The photocatalytic decomposition of toluene vapor by bare and TiO2-coated carbon fibers was studied. Atomic layer deposition (ALD) was used to perform the TiO2 coating. We show that, under our conditions, the photocatalytic activity of bare carbon fibers was comparable with that of TiO2 films, which are known to be good photocatalysts. The origin of the high photocatalytic activity of bare carbon fibers is discussed.
Benefits from Utilizing A Conceptual Model of Indoor GIS Based Evacuation Information System
Luo, Wen-Yuan,Ahn, Byung-Ju,Kim, Jae-Jun,Lee, Gwang-Gook,Kim, Whoi-Yul Korea Institute of Construction Engineering and Ma 2009 한국건설관리학회 논문집 Vol.10 No.5
When an emergency situation happens in buildings, the top priority is to ensure the occupant from danger as soon as possible. Achieving that goal is a multifaceted and difficult task. However, current evacuation systems have many deficiencies in dealing with the emergency in multi-level structures. The shortage of abilities to continuously update database, predict the future situation and provide the information to users with contextual information is the limit in current systems. Thus, it is very crucial to introduce Evacuation Information System (EIS), which is able to respond quickly to the emergency, and transfer the information to both the administrator and the occupant. The main purpose of this paper is to build EIS on the basis of the indoor Geographical Information System (GIS). When the emergency happens, EIS gives the instruction to Emergency Response Model (ERM) at once. ERM carries out the order and calculates the optimal evacuation routes, then sends the result to EIS. At last, EIS transmits evacuation messages to the occupant who implements evacuation plan. This paper highlights the benefits of EIS in two aspects. One is that EIS can update the data continuously to support evacuation strategy-making. The other is that it can transmit evacuation messages to both the administrator and the occupant.

AN EXPERT SYSTEM FOR OPERATING STATE ANALYSIS AND CONTROL OF IMPORTANT BUS AND TRANSMISSION LINE
Yu, Luo Yuan,Qing, Que Guang 대한전자공학회 1992 HICEC:Harbin International Conference on Electroni Vol.1 No.1
The paper introduces an expert system which can help the dispatcher to keep watch for some important buses voltage and transmission lines limit violation happens. The paper gives a method which can judges the powr system operating state. It explains the control system for the bus voltage limit violation. When transmission line limit violation happens, the system can use two methods to get the control measures, one is matching method, the other is a new inexact reasoning method proposed by the paper. Whith the inexact reasoning method, the precedent order of control measures can be got.

This paper investigates the leader-follower flocking problem of multi-agent systems. The leader withinput noise is estimated by a proposed continuous-time information weighted Kalman consensus filter (IWKCF)for agents. A novel distributed flocking algorithm based on the IWKCF is further presented to make agents achieveflocking to the leader. It is shown that the proposed flocking algorithm based on the continuous-time IWKCFis asymptotically stable. Applying the topology optimization scheme, the communication complexity of systemtopologies of multi-agent systems is effectively reduced. Finally, simulations are provided to demonstrate theeffectiveness of the proposed results.
