A systematic review of the accuracy and efficiency of dental movements with Invisalign®

We are currently living in an era where the use of computer-aided design/ computer-aided manufacturing has allowed individualized orthodontic treatments, but has also incorporated enhanced digitalized technology that does not permit improvisation. The purpose of this systematic review was to analyze publications that assessed the accuracy and efficiency of the Invisalign® system. A systematic review was performed using a search strategy to identify articles that referenced Invisalign®, which were published between August 2007 and August 2017, and listed in the following databases: MEDLINE, Embase, Cochrane Library, Web of Knowledge, Google Scholar, and LILACS. Additionally, a manual search of clinical trials was performed in scientific journals and other databases. To rate the methodological quality of the articles, a grading system described by the Swedish Council on Technology Assessment in Health Care was used, in combination with the Cochrane tool for risk of bias assessment. We selected 20 articles that met the inclusion criteria and excluded 5 due to excess biases. The level of evidence was high. Although it is possible to treat malocclusions with plastic systems, the results are not as accurate as those achieved by treatment with fixed appliances.

Optimization of Industrial Management System by Employing the Value Added Intellectual Capital

In knowledge-based approaches, intellectual capital is a central issue for achieving competitive advantage. Because competitive advantage is an important issue in decision making. In a knowledge-based economy, intellectual capital is used to create and increase the value of companies. The main objective of this paper is to propose an optimized model for industrial management of the projects. For this purpose, the value added Intellectual Capital is considered as a main factor and also the statistical analysis is performed to evaluate the role of intellectual capacity. To conduct the analysis, we used the system generalized method of moments for a broad sample of industrial projects. A mathematical model and descriptive analytical approach were employed. With the increase of companies' intellectual capital, their economic added value and market added value also increase. The power to explain intellectual capital in the market value added of companies is more than their economic value added.

The Facility for Rare Isotope Beams will be completed in late 2021. We report here on the current efforts to commission the first stages of the 200-MeV/u superconducting, continuous wave heavy-ion linac. The statuses of the cryogenic plant and its distribution system, the accelerator cryomodule commissioning and operations, the ion source and front end transport development, the radio-frequency quadrupole commissioning, and thenbeam dynamics development to support high-power operation are reviewed. Plans for commissioning the remainder of the linac systems are presented.

Anthracnose of papaya fruit caused by the fungus Colletotrichum gloeosporioides is one of the most economically important postharvest diseases. Hot water immersion (HW) and calcium chloride (Ca) treatments have been used to control papaya postharvest diseases; however, the effect of the combination HW-Ca on the pathogen growth and the development of the disease in infected papaya fruit has been scarcely studied. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of the HWCa treatment on the in vitro growth of C. gloesporioides conidia and the quality of infected papaya. In vitro, the HW-Ca treated conidia showed reduced mycelial growth and germination. In vivo, the HW-Ca treatment of infected papaya delayed for 5 days the onset of the anthracnose symptoms and improved the papaya postharvest quality. The combined treatment HW-Ca was better than any of the individual treatments to inhibit the in vitro development of C. gloeosporioides and to reduce the negative effects of papaya anthracnose.
경기침체가 연령관리 정책에 미친 영향 : 스페인의 포드 사례

스페인 포드의 사례연구를 통해, 노동권과 인적자원 관리는 단체협약에 의해 합의되는 내용에 의해 결정된다는 사실을 알 수 있다. 단체협약은 기업별 협약의 경우 직장협의회와 사용자 간에, 업종별 협약의 경우에는 노조와 사용자단체 간에 5년 단위로 체결된다. 또한 포드의 단체협약과 같은 기업별 단체협약의 경우에는, 매년 임금인상을 포함한 모든 구체적 내용이 단체협약 조항으로 명시된다. 감원이 필요한 경우, 고령 근로자들이 가장 큰 영향을 받는 경우가 적지 않다. 자발적 퇴직과 같이 감원을 유도하는 인센티브는 고령층에게 더 매력적일 수 있다. 자발적 퇴직제도는 해당 기업에서 상당히 오랜 기간 근무한 정년에 근접한 근로자들에게 더 매력적인데, 이 제도에서는 연금의 수령이 시작되기 전에 소득원을 보장해 주고 있기 때문이다. 포드와 같은 대기업은 자체 단체협약을 두고 있다. 기업별로 합의된 내용은, 특수한 기업 상황에 상관 없이 특정 업종 내 모든 기업에 노동권이 적용되는 일반적인 업종별 단체협약보다 조직의 수요에 더욱 구체적으로 맞추어질 수 있다. 포드는 노동력을 관리하고 직원들의 전환 고용을 위해 부분퇴직모형을 적극 활용한다. 하지만 경제위기에 직면하여 포드는 고령 근로자들을 대상으로 조기퇴직과 강제 감원을 실시하였다. 포드의 경우, 노조는 강력한 영향력을 행사하고 있는 것으로 드러났으며, 고령 근로자의 강제 감원 관련 협상에 있어 높은 수준의 퇴직금 패키지를 확보할 수 있는 유리한 위치에 있었다.
The Approach to the Model of an International Scientific and Educational Center Valuation

The author invented an approach La the model of valuation in the field of scientific and educational intuitions (here - center). In recent years several projects of the kind have been already realized or are being under realization, e.g. the Bologna process in Europe and cooperation in the field in Eastern Asia. Organizational structures of integrated scientific-educational complexes of different countries have various specifics (for example, under the legal organizational form: corporate universities, associations, consortiums). During the last years in Russia the regulatory activity directed on maintenance of legal status, creation and regulations of activity of the integrated scientific and educational structures was intensified. For purposes of realization of integration of science and education in the Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service the creation of the international Scientific and Educational Consulting Centre (ISECC) in the field of electronics and an information technology is proposed. It is necessary to choose the most relevant model for value estimation and to transform it according to specifics and essential features of the Center.
Cytokines and Inflammation in Meniere Disease

Meniere disease (MD) is a rare set of conditions associated with the accumulation of endolymph in the cochlear duct and the vestibular labyrinth with a decrease of endocochlear potential. It is considered a chronic inflammatory disorder of the inner ear with a multifactorial origin. The clinical syndrome includes several groups of patients with a core phenotype: sensorineural hearing loss, episodes of vertigo, and tinnitus with a non-predictable course. Genetic factors and the innate immune response seem to play a central role in the pathophysiology of the condition. Autoimmune MD should be diagnosed if a patient fulfills the diagnostic criteria for MD and one of the following autoimmune disorders: autoimmune thyroid disease, psoriasis, autoimmune arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, or systemic lupus erythematosus. We summarize the evidence to support autoimmune MD as an endophenotype in bilateral MD associated with the allelic variant rs4947296 and nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB)-mediated inflammation, the role of cytokines (particularly interleukin-1β and tumor necrosis factor-α) in defining a subset of patients with autoinflammation, and the potential role of cytokines as biomarkers to distinguish between patients with MD and vestibular migraine. Finally, we also introduce a list of potential drugs that could regulate the immune response in MD with potential for repurposing in clinical trials.
