      • 煉炭工場 勤勞者의 塵肺症 發生과 肺換氣能에 關한 硏究

        A briquet is a source of major energy for heating and cocking in the common households in Korea. For its production, a total of 2,000 workers are employed in 17 briquet factories in Seoul Korea, where they are heavily exposed to the coal dust while working. In this study ail attempt was made to analyze and evaluate the prevalence of pneumoconiosis among 152 coal workers and the ventilatory function in two briquet factories. Also, concentrations of total and respirable dust in The working environment were investigated. To obtain the amount of respirable dust, the total amount of dust in the air of each working place was measured and analyzed based on the size of particles. To determine the prevalence and type of pneumoconiosis, radiographic examinations and pulmonary function test were performed on each workers. The results are as follows: 1. The average concentrations of total and respirable dust in working places of two factories were 16.1mg/㎥ and 10. 2mg/㎥ respectively, both of which are greater than the threshold limit value. The concentrations of the total dust in each section of the factory also were beyond the TLV. The distribution of particles less than 7μ was about 60% of the total amount of dust. 2. The career history of the examines revealed the 5~9 service year group as the largest, with 51 out of 152 workers (33.6%). By the age group, 40~49 year was the largest, 82 out of 152 workers (53.9%). 3. The results of the radiographic examinations showed that 24 workers with pneumoconicsis were advanced to category 1, 2 and 3 with a prevalence rate of 15.8%. The prevalence rate showed a tendency ta increase remarkably in accordance with the age and the number of working years. 4. In case of pneumoconiosis in category 1 , 2 and 3, a high correlation between the age and the number of working years was seen (r=0.547, p<0.01). 5. In the distribution of pneumoconiosis by grade, category 2 was 54.1% of all the cases, category 1, 41.7% and category 3, 4.2%. 6. The %FEV_(1.0) and MMEF of cases were less than that of the normal group. 7. Among the workers exhibiting pneumoconiosis as determined by ventilatory function test, 25% were of obstructive type, 4.2% restrictive type, and 70.8% normal.

        烏貝散이 흰쥐 胃의 Gastrin, Histamine, Somatostatin 면역반응세포에 미치는 영향

        To investigate the elects on the administration of Opae-san in rats. Opae-san (500mg/day) and omeprazole(10mg/day) were administration with stomach tube for 4 weeks and 8 weeks. This experiment were investigated numerical change of immunoreactive cells of gastric, histamine and somatostatin in rat stomach mucosa by the immunohistochemical method. The results were as follows : 1. In Opae-san administration group for 4 weeks, the number of gastric immunoreactive cells were increased in one and a half times than that of control group. In omeprazole administration group for 4 weeks, the number of gastric immunoreactive cells were increased in four times than that of control group. In Opae-san administration group for 8 weeks, the number of gastric immunoreactive cells were increased four times than that of control group. In omeprazole administration group for 8 weeks, the number of gastrin immunoreactive cells were increased in six times than that of control group. 2. In Opae-san administration group for 4 weeks, the number of histamine immunoreactive cells were increased in two times than that of control group. In omeprazole administration group for 4 weeks, the number of histamine immunoreactive cells were increased in six times than that of control group. In Opae-san administration group for 8 weeks, the number of histamine immunoreactive cells were increased three times than that of control group. In omeprazole administration group for 8 week, the number of histamine immunoreactive cells were increased in seven times than that of control group. These results suggest that Opae-san extracts inhibit the secretion of gastric acid and this extract use to therapeutic herb of gastric disorders related to the hyperacidity and gastric ulcer.

      • 排出物診斷에서 "諸病水液 澄澈淸冷 皆屬干寒"의 임상적 價値에 대한 文獻的 考察 : 鼻流, 喀痰, 구토를 중심으로

        There are many ways to differentiate symptoms and signs in clinic, and among them are the ways to distinguish various symptoms and signs by comparing them without using natural philosophy and chemistry and tools in differentiating cold syndrome or hot syndrome, especially how to make the nature of illness clear by examining various abnormal condition of the secretion or dejecta is very useful in treatment. Here I report some findings about differential diagnosis of cold symptoms through the secretion or dejecta based on "Chebyeongsuaek Chingcheolcheongnaeng Kaesokuhan" of 'The Yellow Emperor's Canon of Internal Medicine·Chijinyodaeron, by literal study on the books about clinic. As a conclusion, the ejection seems to be trifling, but, in fact, it plays very important part in differentiating cold symptoms and hot symptoms. Though a medical examination using natural philosophy and chemistry is important, the ejection itself is much more important because it is very decisive in diagnosis of cold symptoms and hot symptoms.

        유착성 견관절낭염 환자에서 견갑상신경과 견갑배신경의 병합 차단술의 효과

        Objective : To investigate the effect of combined nerve block of suprascpular and dorsal scapular nerve as a means of pain management in adhesive capsulitis of shoulder. Method : Of the 55 patients with adhesive capsulitis of shoulder, 30 patients〔age: 62.55(47.2-72-7) years, symptom duration: 60(3-365) days, 12 males and 28 females〕were treated with combined nerve blocks of suprascpular and dorsal scapular nerve as a means of pain management, But, 25 patients〔age : 54.0(25.0-75.0) years, symptom duration: 90(3-730)days, 11 males and 14 females〕were not treated with nerve block. We measured the ROM of flexion and external rotation(˙) as degree via AMA method and VAS(mm). as a degree of shoulder pain weekly. We defined therapeutic duration as above 80% recovery of normal active ROM in flexion and external rotation and below 40mm in VAS. Results : 1) There were significantly decreased VAS from 90mm to 30mm in postnerve block group during serial follow-up exam(p<0.001). 2) There were significantly increased ROM of shoulder flexion from 150˚ to 170˚ in post-nerve block group duing serial follow-up exam (p<0001). 3) There were significantly increased ROM of shoulder external rotation form 40˚ to 60˚ in post-nerve block group during serial follow-up exam(p<0.001). 4) There was significantly increased in exercise compliance(sself-exercise time duration per day) from 60.0 minute to 92.0 minute and decreased in therapeutic duration from 6 weeks to 3 weeks(p<0.001). Conclusion : We concluded that the combined nerve blocks of suprascapular and dorsal scapular nerve were simple, safe, and effective procedure and beneficial to pain relief and shortening of the theraprtic duration of rehabilitative management in patients with adhesive capsulitis of shoulder.

      • 저압전로의 단락사고에 대한 보호협조 연구

        This paper describes the protection from line to line fault current caused by the trouble of source the low voltage power line. The decision of interrupting capacity in the low voltage circuit breaker is based on foreign rules, environment and actual condition within a country. Congregation of full capacity rating, selective breaking method and cascade breaking method is based on relevance reference and catalog of a manufacturing company. From above result, we obtain the method of optimum coordination and contrive the convenience of actual experience application according to the importance of electricity installation. The calculation of breaking capacity and the application of breaking method investigate actual condition in the case of design of electricity installation established and enlarged for personal use in Gumi, Chilgok area recently and present the point at issue and countermeasure. In the future, I think that this data contribute not only the preventing of electricity installation accident but also of electricity installation accident.

        Chlorpromazine의 유전적 안전성에 관한 연구

        연구목적 ; 항 정신성약물로 사용빈도가 높은 chlorpromazine을 사용하여 이 약물의 돌연변이원성과 유전독성을 알아보았다. 방 법 : Bacillus subtilis을 사용한 DNA손상성검토(rec assay), Salmonella typhimurium을 이용한 돌연변이원성실험(Ames test 및 SOS umu test) 그리고 생쥐에 chlorpromazine를 직접 주입하여 대사 후에 돌연변이원성을 확인하는 host-mediated assay법을 각각 사용하였다. 결 과 ; Rec assay에서 chlorpromazine은 Bacillus subtilis의 DNA에는 별다른 영향을 미치지 않았으며, salmonella typhomurium TA 98 및 TA100을 이용한 돌연별이원성 실험에서도 chlorpromazine은 어느 균에도 돌연변이원성을 나타내지 않았으며, S-9 mixture의 첨가에 의해 대사가 된 후에도 돌연변이원성을 나타내지 않았다. 또한 SOS umu test의 경우에도 β-galactosidase활성에는 별다른 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 보아 chlorpromazine은 돌연별이원성을 일으키지 않는 것으로 판정되었으며 S-9 mixture 처리 후에도 이와 유사한 결과를 얻었다. 한편 생쥐를 이용한 host mediated assay에서도 Ames test에서 S-9 mixture를 첨가 한 경우와 같이 돌연변이원성이 없는 것으로 판정되었다. 결 론 : 이상을 종합해 볼 때 chlorpromazine은 본 실험에 사용한 4가지 방법에서는 돌연병이원성과 유전독성을 일으키지 않는 것으로 나타났다. Object : The aim of this study is to determine whether exposure to chlorpromazine causes mutagenicity and genetic disorders. Method : Ames(Salmonella typhimurium) test and Rec assay(Bacillus subtilis) were used as indicators for DNA damage. Furthermore, the levels of umu operon expression by measuring the β-galactosidase activity were monitered with the SOS umu test using S. typhimurium 1535 containing plasmid pSK1002. And the host-mediated assay was used to investigate the mutagenicity of chlorpromazine after the activation with in vivo metabolic systems. Results : From the results, chlorpromazine did not affect DNA of S. typhimurium and B.subtilis strains and showed no mutagenicity at the all concentrations tested. These phenomena was also similar to that after metabolic activation of chlorpromazine in in vivo system. Conclusion : These results suggested that chlorpromazine did not show the mutagenicity and genotoxicity by four different methods used in this study.

        Subharmonic vibration of order 1/2 of a simply supported uniform beam subjected to initial tention is studied for a concentrated lateral harmonic excitation force. Theoretical analysis is carried out by assumming the deflection as a superposition of linear eigenfunctions. Harmonic balance method is used for the steady state solution. The steady state solutions are obtained by using Newton-Raphson method. Experiments are carried out and show good agreement with the theoretical results.

      • 정어리 냉동고기풀의 품질개선에 관한 연구

        정어리 냉동고기풀의 최적 가공조건은 원료 정어리를 알칼리 염수수세한 후 정어리 육에 대해 분리 대두단백질:물:정제 정어리유(1:5:2.6)로 만든 유화커드를 20%, 솔비톨 4%, 설탕 4%, 중합인산염 0.2% 및 항산화제로서 에리소르빈산나트륨을 0.1% 첨가하여 고기갈이한 후 -35℃에서 급속동결시켜 carbon box로 포장하여 동결저장한 제품이 가장 좋았다. 본 제품의 수분 함량은 73.3%. 조단백질 15.0%, 조지방은 6.9%였으며, 생균수는 1.6~l.8X10^4/g으로 동결저장 중 변화는 거의 없었다. 제품의 주요 구성지방산은 16:0, 16:1, 18:1, 20:5 및 22:6 등으로 고도 불포화지방산이 47.7% 함유되어 있었다. 동결저장 중 120일 동안 제품의 물성, 지질산화 및 지방산의 변화 등을 측정한 결과, 유화커드와 에리소르빈산나트륨을 첨가함으로서 동결저장 중 단백질 변성, 지질의 산화 및 변색을 효율적으로 억제 시킬 수 있었으며, 품질이 안정하게 유지되었다. 한편, 본 시제품과 명태 냉동고기풀을 혼합하여 가공한 어묵의 품질을 측정한 결과, 어묵의 품질에 큰 저하됨이 없이 명태 고기풀을 본 정어리 고기풀로 40%까지 대체할 수 있었으며 어육의 풍미를 갖는 연제품을 가공할 수 있다는 결론을 얻었다. The processing conditions and quality of sardine surimi were examined: Raw sardine meat was separated, washed in 0.2% NaHC0_3 and 0.15% NaCl solution, and then dewatered by centrifuge. The dewatered sardine meat was chopped, mixed with 20% emulsion curd (soybean protein : water : refined sardine oil= 1 : 5. 2.6), 4% sorbitol, 4% sucrose, 0.2% polyphosphate and 0.1% sodium erythorbate by stone mortar. The mixed sardine meat was frozen with contact freezer, packed in carton box and then stored at -25±2℃. The moisture, crude protein and lipid contents of the sardine surimi product was 73.3%, 15.0% and 6.9%, respectively. Fatty acid composition of product consisted of 28.8% of saturates, 24.3% of monoenes and 47.7% of polyenes and the major fatty acids were 16:0, 20 5, 18:1, 22:6 and 16:1. The results of changes in POV, TBA value, fatty acids, texture and sensory score of products during frozen storage showed that lipid oxidation and freeze denaturation of product could be retarded, and flavor enhanced by addition 20% emulsion curd and 0.1% sodium erythorbate. In an attempt to apply sardine surimi in producing surimi-based product, it was concluded that Pollack surimi could be substituted with sardine surimi up to 40% without showing any significant changes in texture and taste of surimi-based product.

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of Tetoron-Hemp blended yarn sized by cornstarch and P.V.A. size The results are summarized as follows; 1) By using cornstarch size together with P.V.A. size, tensile strength and resistance to abrasion are increased. 2) When sample yarn is sized at the high temperature the effect of penetration is excellent. 3) By adding sodium sulphate, penetrating ability of size to sample yarn is increased. 4) The desizing activity is generally excellent in every sample yarns.

      • GO에 의해 유도된 培養 脊髓感覺神經細胞 독성에 대한 鎭肝熄風湯의 방어효과

        To evaluate the effect of Jingansikpungtang water extract on cultured mouse spinal sensory neuron which was inhibited by glucose oxidase(GO)-induced cytotoxicity, NR assay and TBARS assay for lipid peroxidation were carried out after the cultured mouse spinal sensory neuron were pre-incubated with various concentrations of Jingansikpungtang water extract for 3 hours prior to exposure of GO. GO, a oxygen radical, decreased the survival rate of the cultured mouse spinal sensory neuron cells on NR assay. Jingansikpungtang water extract have efficacy of decreasing lipid peroxidation increasing by GO in cultured mouse spinal sensory neuron. From above the results, it is concluded that Jingansikpungtang has marked efficacy as a treatment for the damages caused in the GO-mediated oxidative process.
