Migraine is one of the most frequent causes of primary headache and 9% of children suffer from migraines. Most children will continue to experience migraine attacks as adults, therefore it is imperative that we have a thorough understanding of this major health issue. This article considers the so-called abdominal variants of migraine, which are more commonly seen in children rather than adults: abdominal migraine, cyclic vomiting syndrome, and infantile colic. Other functional abdominal pain disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome and functional dyspepsia have also been linked to migraine in clinical studies. The common pathophysiological root of these diseases seems to be the gut-brain axis mechanism. Abdominal variants of migraine are considered pediatric precursors of migraine whereas the functional abdominal pain disorders related to migraine seem to share a pathophysiological root with no temporarily link as for today. In this review we aim to describe the epidemiological background, the current pathophysiological theories and the relationship of each disease to migraine. This review is the first to compile abdominal variants of migraine and functional abdominal pain disorders associated with migraine and we endeavor to elucidate the broad spectrum of migraine-related episodes in children. The city branding in cities is on the rise. Cities would like to becomeattractive for development. Moreover, tourism is a major economic issue. That is why we will study the impact of the tourist attractiveness citybranding. We will observe the examples of Lyon and Fontainebleau. These cities have realized the marketing interest with city branding, storytelling and brand image. It is a good way to promote a city.

This article offers a mapping of definitions and of their application in mediation. This heuristic concept is considered here in both its historical and theoretical dimensions, as well as in what ways it is applied in <companies and organizations.

We examined the photocatalytic degradation of phenol from laboratory samples under UV radiation by using BiPO4/H2O2 and TiO2/H2O2 advanced oxidation systems. Both catalysts prepared were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared and X-ray diffraction. Surface area tests showed about 3.46 and 31.33m2·g−1, respectively, for BiPO4 and TiO2. A central composite design was developed with the following variables-- catalyst concentration, time and concentration of hydrogen peroxide--to optimize the degradation process. Removal rates of 99.99% for phenol degradation using BiPO4 and TiO2 were obtained, respectively. For mineralization of organic carbon were obtained 95,56% when using BiPO4 and 63,40% for TiO2, respectively. The lumped kinetic model represented satisfactorily the degradation of phenol process, using BiPO4/H2O2/UV (R2=0.9977) and TiO2/H2O2/UV (R2=0.9701) treatments. The toxicity tests using different seed species showed the benefits of the proposed advanced oxidation process when applied to waste waters containing these pollutants.
Identités étudiantes dans une « école post-bac » Interactions et cohabitation
Pascal LARDELLIER,Léa STARCK 고려대학교 응용문화연구소 2022 에피스테메 Vol.- No.28
This article aims to identify the diverse identities present in a Business/Management school and to analyze the strategies adopted in order to improve the “cohabitation” between different actors (Students, management and teachers) of the school within this context. We have started our empirical research by observing the participants within the institution. This step helped us to develop a questionnaire that was distributed afterwards to the students. Based on the analysis of the results, we were able to categorize students into different identity groups, such as “job” identity or “first-time entrant” identity. Each of these groups have a specific behavior which can be a source of tension or “incommunication” within the classrooms. By identifying these groups, the school management has developed strategies to improve cohabitation (integration days, culinary discoveries, etc.)

Purpose Preoperative chemoradiation (CRT) is expected to increase the rate of curative resection and complete histological response. In this trial, we investigated the efficacy of a neoadjuvant CRT regimen in gastric adenocarcinoma (NCT01565109 trial).Materials and Methods Patients with stage IB to IIIC gastric adenocarcinoma, endoscopy ultrasound and computed tomography–scan diagnosed, were eligible for this phase II trial. Neoadjuvant treatment consisted of 2 cycles of chemotherapy with DCF (docetaxel, cisplatin, and 5-fluorouracil [5FU]) followed by preoperative CRT with oxaliplatin, continuous 5FU and radiotherapy (45 Gy in 25 fractions of 1.8 Gy, 5 fractions per week for 5 weeks) administered before surgery. R0-resection rate, pathological complete response (pathCR) rate, and survival (progression-free survival [PFS] and overall survival [OS]) were evaluated as primary endpoints. Results Among 33 patients included, 32 patients (97%) received CRT and 26 (78.8%) were resected (R0 resection for all patients resected). Among resected patients, we report pathCR in 23,1% and pathologic major response (tumor regression grade 2 according to Mandard’s classification) in 26,9%. With a median follow-up duration of 5.82 years (range, 0.4 to 9.24 years), the estimated median OS for all 33 patients was not reached; 1-, 3-, and 5-year OS rates were 85%, 61%, and 52%, respectively. Among resected patients, those whose histological response was tumor grade regression (TRG) 1-2 had significantly better OS and PFS rates than those with a TRG 3-4-5 response (p=0.019 and p=0.016, respectively). Conclusion Promising results from trials involving preoperative chemoradiation followed by surgery in gastric cancer need to be further evaluated in a phase III trial.
