The purpose of this study is to present rational methods of multi-criteria optimization of the shape of energy saving buildings. The object is to determine the optimum dimension of the shape of a building, based on the following criteria: minimum building costs (including the cost of materials and construction) and annual heating costs. Mathematical model described heat losses and gains in a building during the heating season. It takes into consideration heat losses through wall, roof, floor and windows. Particular attention was paid to have a more detailed description of heat gains due to solar radiation. On the assumption that shape of building is rectangle in order to solve the problem, the proportions of wall length and building height are determined by using non-linear programing methods(Kuhn-Tucker Conditions). The results constitute information for designers on the optimum proportions of wall lengths, height, and the ratios of window to wall areas for energy saving buildings.

1. Taedong Yo Chido(大東與地圖) is the largest in its scale of all the maps published during the period of Lee Dynasty. The Boundaries of the administrative districts of this map are marked so correctly that it is possible to record the changes of the administrative districts. 2. In 1413(King Taejong(太宗) 13th year), the districts had been divided into eight(8) provinces, in 1895(King Kojong(高宗)35th year) into twenty-three(23) Pus (府), and in 1896 (King Kojong(高宗) 36th year) into thirteen(13) provinces. 3. The boundaries of the administrative districts during Lee Dynasty had been marked according to their mountain ranges rather than rivers. In the densely populated plains, the districts had been subdivided. 4. Such district names as Wol Kyong Cho(越境處), Sok Hyon(屬縣), Pu Kok(部曲) etc. which had Been during the early period of Lee Dynasty ceased to exist as time passed.

산업현장에서 수소는 설비를 손상시킬 수 있는 주원인 중의 하나이며, 종종 설비를 파괴시키는 사고를 발생시킨다. 수소손상에 의한 결정립계의 공동 또는 미세균열은 강재의 파괴인성과 강도를 떨어뜨리는 원인이 되고, 따라서 과거 제한적인 방법으로 수소손상을 평가하기 위한 시도가 수행되었다. 본 연구에서는 초음파를 적용하여 수소손상을 검출하고 평가하기 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 미세조직시험에 의해 확인된 시험편을 이용하여 초음파의 속도와 감쇠계수를 구한 결과, 수소손상에 의해서 초음파 속도는 감소하고 감쇠는 현저하게 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 수소손상을 검출하기 위한 신뢰성 있는 평가법을 제시하였다. The presence of hydrogen in industrial plants is a source of damage. Hydrogen attack is one such form of degradation and often causing large tube ruptures that necessitate an immediate shutdown. Hydrogen attack may reduce the fracture toughness as well as the strength of steels. This reduction is caused partially by the presence of cavities and microcracks at the grain boundaries. In the past several techniques have been used with limited results. This paper describes the application of an ultrasonic velocity and attenuation in hydrogen damage. Ultrasonic tests showed a decrease in wave velocity and an increase in attenuation. Such results demonstrate the potential for ultrasonic nondestructive testing to quantify damage. Based on this study, reliable recommendation is suggested to detect hydrogen attack.
간경변 환자에서 Oro-cecal Transit Time의 측정

Background: Neurotransmitter like substances in the gut have been proposed to contribute to the overall portal systemic encephalopathy (PSE). The source of the ammonia in patients with PSE is mainly the small bowel, as a result of the conversion of glutamine in the diet to glutamate and ammonia. PSE is highly responsive to changes in diet, to antibiotic therapy and to ingestion of nondigestible disaccharides such as lactulose. This study was performed to evaluate the relationship between PSE and oro-cecal transit time. In addition, performed to evaluate the effect of severity, cause, complications of liver cirrhosis on oro-cecal transit time. Methods: Between August 2006 and February 2007, 48 cirrhotic patients consecutively was enrolled in study their oro-cecal transit time after informed consent was obtained. A non-invasive hydrogen breath test was used to study oro-cecal transit time (OCTT). Result: The OCTT were delayed in cirrhotic patients with PSE compared without PSE (123.3 ± 42.7 min vs 170.0 ± 58.3 min, p<0.05). OCTT tended to prolongate further as the damage in the liver got worse, nevertheless the result was statistically meaningless (p<0.111). Neither presence of ascites or cause of PSE had any influence on gastrointestinal transit. Conclusions: Cirrhotic patients with PSE have more delayed OCTT than without PSE. Further research is needed to find out the relationship between OCTT and severity of liver cirrhosis.
