        The paper presents an efficient method for extracting the line segments in a local map of a robot's surroundings. The local map is composed of 2-D grids that have both the occupancy and orientation probabilities from sonar information. To find the shape of an object in a local map from orientation information, the orientations are clustered into several groups according to their values. The line segment is ,then, extracted from the clusters based on Hough transform. The proposed technique is illustrated by experiments in an indoor environment.

      • 골프선수와 일반인의 등속성 근력에 관한 비교 연구

        The purpose of this study was to compare the isokinetic differences between general people and golfers. The subject of this study were two groups composed each one by 11 young(age 20 to 22) and healthy men (G1) and 11 experienced(5 years) golfers(G2). After the study we conclude as follow. 1.Peak torque and peak torque% of concentric concentration 1)The increment of the maximum flexor power of right velocity difference of 60°/sec was more significant in G1 than in G2 (p〈.01) and the peak torque% difference was more significant in G1 than in G2 (p〈.05). 2)There was not a significant difference in the maximum extensor power and the maximum extensor power per weight. 2.Angle of peak torque 1)The increment of the maximum flexor power of left velocity difference at 60°/sec was more significant in G1 than in G2 (p〈.05). 2)The angle of maximum extensor power did not show an significant difference 3.Peak torque ratio at antagonists between flexor and extensor There was not a significant difference in the peak torque ratio at antagonists between flexor and extensor. 4.Average power and average power% of concentric contraction 1)The Average flexor Power of right and left velocity at 60°/sec showed more significant difference in G1 than in G2 (p〈.01). 2)The average extensor power, the average power of flexor and extensor per weight did not show significant difference. 5.Endurance ratio of concentric contraction The endurance ratio of flexor of right velocity at 240° msec showed more significant difference G1 than in G2(p〈.01) and the endurance ratio of extensor did not show significant difference. 6.Set total work of concentric contraction The set total work of flexor and extensor did not show significant difference.

        요중 N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase 활성치를 이용한 신발제조업 근로자들의 만성 신기능 장애 평가

        부산지역 신발제조업 근로자중 유기용제에 폭로되고 있는 150명을 폭로군으로 하고, 일반사무직 근로자 53명을 대조군으로 하여 인적특성, 직업에 대한 만족도, 자각증상, 작업과 관련된 스트레스의 정도를 조사하고, 유기용제 폭로량의 지표가 되는 요중 마뇨산 및 근로자 건강진단 항목인 혈중 요소질소, 혈청 크레아티닌 그리고 조기 신기능 장애의 지표로 알려진 요중 NAG 활성치를 측정하여 얻은 바를 아래와 같이 요약한다. 1. 요중 NAG 활성치는 폭로군에서 4.63U/g creatinine, 대조군에서 2.95U/g creatinine로 폭로군에서 높게 측정되었고(p<0.05), 유기용제 폭로에 의한 신기능 변화에 민감한 결과를 보였다. 2. 설문조사에서 직업에 대한 불만족, 이직을 원하는 경우, 건강에 대한 염려, 직업과 관련된 스트레스 및 유기용제 폭로와 관련된 증상호소가 대조군에 비해 폭로군에서 유의하게 증가되어 있어(p<0.05), 유기용제에 폭로되고 있는 신발제조업 근로자들의 보건관리는 산업보건학적 측면에서 매우 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 3. 폭로군중 근무기간 5년 이상인 대상자에서 요중 NAG 활성치는 5.92U/g creatinine, 근무기간 5년 미만인 경우 4.34U/g creatinine으로, 유기용제 폭로 기간이 길어짐에 따라 요중 NAG활성치는 통계학적으로 유의하게 증가되어 있었다(p<0.05). 4. 요중 NAG활성치는 근무기간을 가중한 톨루엔 총 폭로량과 유의한 정의 상관관계를 보여(p<0.05), 용량-반응관계를 보여 주었다. 이상의 결과에서, 복합유기용제에 만성적으로 폭로되는 근로자들에 공통적으로 발생할 수 있는 조기 신기능 장애를 감시하기 위하여, 요중 NAG활성치를 측정한 자료를 이용하면 유기용제 폭로 근로자들의 보건관리를 위하여 자료를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다. Personal characteristics, degree of satisfaction for work, subjective symptoms, and stress related to working condition were investigated from 150 workers exposed to organic solvents in shoe factories and 53 official workers in Pusan area, and urinary hippuric acid concentration which represented the amount of exposed organic solvents, BUN and serum creatinine which were renal function tests for worker's health examination and urinary N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase activity were measured. The results obtained were summarized as follows. 1. The mean value of urinary NAG activity of exposed group was higher than that of control group(p<0.01), and subjects whose NAG activities were over refrence range in exposed group were far more than in control group(p<0.05), therefore urinary NAG activity was a sensitive test for the change of renal function due to exposure of organic solvents. 2. Unsatisfaction for occupation, want to change occupation, worry about health, stress related to job and symptoms related to exposure of organic solvents investigated by questionnaire were higher in exposed group than in control group, therefore the health management for workers exposed to organic solvents in shoe factories was important in the viewpoint of occupational medicine. 3. The mean value of urinary NAG activity in the subjects whose working duration were over 5 years was higher than in the subjects whose working duration were over 5 years was higher than in the subjects whose working duration were under 5 years, therefore the longer exposured duration was, the higher urinary NAG activity was. 4. Urinary NAG activity had positive correlation with time weighted amount of total toluene exposure therefore dose-response relationship was suspected. As above results, it will be very useful to apply the data of urinary NAG activity to the health management of workers exposed to orgaic solvents in order to monitoring of early renal dysfunction which was common in the workers chornically exposed to mixed organic solvents.

      • 현대합기도의 성립에 영향을 미친 유술과 사상(思想)에 관한 연구

        This paper is designed to take a look at Ju-Jithu influencing Hapki-do in two countries, and to develop a basic logical foundation for the establishment of Hapkido and the close examination of its identity. 1. Hapkido was largely influenced by Daedongryuhapkisul made by Euikwang in Silla dynasty, establish the idea of martial arts focusing on softness with strength. 2. The philosophy of Um and Yang had an effect on the Chi development of Hapkido and its breathing art. 3. Shin In-ryu's Ju-Jithu influenced the establishment of Hapkido's discipline system and teachings as well as the establishment of the view of martial arts. 4. Modern Hapkido was much influenced by Goryu's Ji-Jithu in terms of skills and the philosophy of martial arts. Its true meaning lies not in trying to dominate over others but in containing oneself in his or her daily life and growing into a man of good character by adhering to the standards of moral behavior in social life.

      • 도로표지판용 반사지와 EL시트에 대한 휘도와 시인성의 관계

        It is well known that fluorescent traffic signs have conspicuity that is far superior to that of normal color signs. This study was conducted to test the hypothesis whether increasing the property of luminance, while leaving all other sign features the same, does increase the legibility distance. Six diamond-shaped signs were fabricated. The experiment enforced for day and night. The investigated sign board included Reflective Sheeting Engineer Grade(normal), Reflective Sheeting High Intensity Grade(higher), Diamond Grade TM LDP Reflective Sheeting(the highest), EL(electro luminescence)sheet. The traffic sign legends used Landolt rings to avoid word familiarity issuses. It was found that increasing of the luminance actually did statiscally significantly increase the legibility distances. The increasing ranged from 9.3 to 39.4 percent when increasing the property of luminance. In the case of EL sheet was from 34 to 57.3 percent(increase the legibility distances).

      • 청소년의 스포츠 활동 참가와 스트레스의 관계

        The purpose of this research is to examine how the adolescents participation in sports influences the stress of them, to back up empirically the fact that such mutual relation have an effect on the daily removal and easing of the stress, and further, being based upon this, to present the basic data required for the policies related to the adolescents. Among these, excluding those questionnaires which were judged to lack the reliability, the number of the samples used actually for the analyses was total 427 students including the 237 participating students and 190 nonparticipating students in the sports activities. The tool for the data collection is the "Survey questionnaire regarding the relations batween the sports participation of the adolescents and stress". and as a result of the adolescents of the reliability the stress α = .80 where high coefficients of the reliability have been derived. For the data analysis the SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) program has been used in this research, to meet the purpose of this research the frequency analysis, analysis of covariance, multiple regression analysis have been carried out, and the following research results have been derived. First, experience of participation in sports activities influences on stress level of the adolescents. Namely, the participants of sports activities are more low than the non-participants in stress level. Second, degree of participation in the sports activities influence on stress level of the adolescents, Namely, the participation frequencies have negative influence on stress level.

        Colchicine과 Verapamil이 PTH에 의한 골흡수에 미치는 영향

        This experiment was performed to study the effects of colchicine and verapamil on PTH-induced bone resorption in organ culture. Ulnae and radii were removed from 19-day fetal rats, prelabelled by subcutaneous injection of 200μCi ^45CaCl_2 into their mothers on the 17th day of gestation, and then explanted on the Millipore filters in organ culture dishes. The media of normal group were exchanged with fresh media, and control group with 0.1U/ml PTH-supplemented media, while experimental group, were exchanged with 0.1U/ml PTH+10^-7M colchicine, PTH+40μM verapamil, or PTH+10^-7M colchicine+40mM verapamil complexed media. Radioactivity of ^45Ca released into media after 24, 48 and 72 hours of culture and remained in cultured bone after 72hours, were both determined. The rates of bone resorption in each group were measured by the percentage of released ^45Ca to the total radioactivity that presented in the bone at the beginning of culture. And also effects of colchicine, verapamil and colchicine+verapamil were observed by the ratios of %-release of ^45Ca between paired control and experimental group. The following results were obtained: 1. PTH at the concentration of 0.1U/ml, increased the fetal bone resorption by 67 and 87% after 48 and 72hours of culture, respectively 2. Colchicine, at the concentration of 10^-7M, presented significant inhibition of PTH-induced bone resorption after 48 and 72 hours of culture, and verapamil, at the concentration of 40μM, presented significant inhibition of the PTH-tnduced bone resorption after 72 hours of culture. 3. Colchicine plus verapamil at the concentration of 10^-7M and 40μM, respectively, presented significant inhibition of PTH-induced bone resorption after 48 and 72hours of culture, but presented lack of additive or synergistic effects.

      • 콘크리트 지하철 구조물의 비선형 지진응답해석

        1995년 Hyogoken-Nanbu 지진은 RC 지중 지하철 구조물에 지난 과거 전혀 경험치 못했던 심각한 피해를 일으켰다. 이같은 지진피해의 정확한 평가를 위하여, 주파수영역상에서의 지반-구조물 상호작용효과를 고려한 지하 구조물에 대한 선형지진응답해석이 수행되어왔으나, 보다 정확한 지진피해를 예측하기 위해서는 시간영역상에서 지반과 구조물의 이력감쇠와 강성변화를 고려한 비선형지진응답해석을 수행하는 것이 반드시 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 지반-구조물 상호작용을 고려한 비선형 지진응답해석을 시간영역상에서 수행하기 위하여 주파수영역상에서 지반-구조물 상호작용효과를 고려하기위해 개발된 KIESSI-2D와 유한요소 범용해석프로그램 ANSYS를 연계한 복합법을 사용하여 Hyogoken-Nanbu 지진시 피해가 많았던 고베의 가미사와 지하철역을 대상으로 비선형 지진응답해석을 수행하고 실제 발생한 피해상황과 비교 ·분석하였다. 해석시 등가 선형화기법에 근거한 대표적인 자유장 해석프로그램인 SHAKE를 사용하여 지반의 비선형성을 고려하였고, 콘크리트의 비선형성을 고려하기위해서 Hognestad 모델을 사용하였다. 해석결과 실제 발생한 중간기둥의 전단파괴를 매우 유사하게 예측할 수 있음을 보여주었다. During the 1995 Hyogoken-Nanbu earthquake, underground RC structures experienced significant damages which had never been experienced before. To evaluate these damages, a linear earthquake response analysis in frequency domain has often been used. For more accurate evaluation of the damages, however, a nonlinear earthquake response analysis in time domain must be employed by incorporating she continuous change of stiffness and hysteresis damping of soil-structure interaction systems. In this study, a hybrid method which combines a soil-structure interaction program, KIESSI-2D with a general purpose FEM package, ANSYS is developed to perform nonlinear earthquake response analysis of soil-structure interaction in time domain. As a verification of the hybrid method, nonlinear earthquake response analyses are performed on the Kamisawa subway station which was damaged severely during the Kobe earthquake and analytical results are compared with the real damages. In order to consider the nonlinearity of soil, SHAKE program is used, whereas Hognestad model is used to consider the nonlinearity of concrete. It is shown that the analytical prediction agrees fairly well with the actual damages which were caused by the shear failure of the center column of the station.

      • 비닐하우스 작물용 자동방제 시스템 개발

        An automatic spraying system has been developed that can be applied to the prevention and extermination of damage by blight and harmful insects for crops in a vinyl plastic house. The system consists of three parts; a nozzle carriage, controller, and pumping system. The nozzle carriage moves along a mono-rail equipped above the ground, which conveys lots of nozzles to spry agricultural chemicals over crops. The controller governs the speed and direction of the nozzle carriage as well as the action of the pumping system. In connection with the spraying system, we also suggest the guidelines for designing the pumping system.

      • 降伏線 解析에 의한 開口部를 둔 슬래브에 관한 硏究

        There are some cases where the structure of slab needs to have openings according to the conditions of its uses. The research done in this paper deals with the ultimate load condition to which the slabs with openings are subjected on the basis of Moondra's, Rangaswami's and Ockleston's studies. Comparisons are the experimental results of three slabs with openings different in shapes and sizes in the simply-supported circular slabs subjected to uniformly distributed load. As a result, the actural load to which the slabs with openings are subjected is 1.36 to 1.92 times larger than the theoretical ultimate load. As the size of opening increases, the ultimate load that the capacity of slabs can carry decreases.
