Together with the operating devices for primary driver functions such as the steering wheel, pedals, and gear-lever, the steering column module is the most frequently used driver-vehicle interface in the car, Important safety functions such as direction indicators, wash/wiper operation, lighting control and cruise control are operated by the driver via the steering column module. In addition to basic ergonomic considerations such as accessibility and ease of operation of the levers on the module, switch developments must also take account of the tactile feed back of switches and their surface finish(“grip&feel”). The tactile feedback of switches is agreed with the vehicle manufacturer by means of so-called force-travel diagrams for the various operating functions. Particularly in the premium vehicle sector, there are increasing demands for high-quality surface finishes such as high-gloss or chrome at the operator interfaces of the steering column module. A number of automobile makers also favour the integration of the gear selector lever in the steering column module for so-called “shift-by-wire” systems. A gear selector lever of this kind is similar to the direction indicator and wiper lever, with a tactile feedback design based on the required shift pattern. The wide range of possible combinations of these operator functions makes it impossible to develop a single, standard module to satisfy all requirements. Instead, the aim is to develop standardized discrete units for the steering column modules, which can be reused in modules for different vehicle manufactures.

In this paper, we present an architecture for the fault isolation by applying virtualization-based multi-stack technologies. We propose the simultaneous sharing and switching mechanism using virtualied serial communications. Each guest OS has its own virtual serial device. The distribution module provides communications between the guest OS's through the virtual serial devices and simultaneously detect the liveness of the guest OS. The suggested mechanism has been implemented in VirtualBox and shows satisfactory performance in transmission speed and data sharing capability with virtual RS232.

This paper is an execution environment study to implement the application process based on a PSTR model on a virtual machine. We will load one hardware system with two virtual machines for implementing the PSTR model. We conduct a research about configuration of management module, sharing of serial device simultaneously and communication between tasks on different virtual machines on virtual machine environment for implementing the PSTR model. The management module can be located on the host operating system or on another virtual machine. We decide the position of management module after the comparison of their performances. We analyze the task execution environment related to serial ports on the virtual machine because application tasks hold their serial ports in this study. After analyzing, we design and implement the modified virtual serial port suitable for the PSTR model. And we also make inter task communication functions on different virtual machines and compare the performance of this communication functions with a legacy communication method with their experimental results.
대학생들의 레크리에이션 수업인식과 수업만족에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 대학생들의 레크리에이션 수업인식이 수업만족에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 규명하는 것이다. 이론적 고찰과 이를 토대로 본 연구에서 제시된 연구가설들에 대한 실증분석의결론은 다음과 같다 첫째, 대학생들의 개인적 특성(성별, 계열)에 따른 레크리에이션 수업인식은 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학생들의 개인적 특성(성별, 계열)에 따른 레크리에이션 수업만족은 성별에 교수만족, 계열에 시설만족이 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 대학생들의 레크리에이션 수업인식은 수업만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

A wide range of industries are applying 3D printing technology in their fields, since the 3D printing technology is the most important research topic in the world. Most automotive industry has already recognized 3D printing technology as a promising manicuring method, so that they utilize 3D printers in their design development, research and production processes. Selective laser sintering (SLS) process which is widely used in auto part development process, however, hinder automakers from utilizing the technology directly to enhance their development process. In other words, SLS process causes curved shapes due to thermal deformation -thermal expansion and thermal contraction, in the powder sintering and cooling process, accompanies multi-phase changes of the raw materials. In this research, we aim to investigate and analyze the deformation pattern of SLS 3D printed samples by size, shape, location in SLS platform (using 3D Systems’ sPro60 SD).
