For women who have abnormal Pap test results, the biopsy under colposcopic evaluation is the gold standard for determining the treatment modality. To increase the effectiveness of colposcopic communication, the International Federation for Cervical Pathology and Colposcopy (IFCPC) recently published fourth new nomenclature, aiming to create an evidence-based terminology. To increase the diagnostic accuracy of colposcopy, multiple biopsies of two or more sites are recommended. Recently, with the introduction of human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine for cervical cancer prevention, pre-cancerous diseases caused by virus types 16 and 18 have been reduced, which is expected to reduce the number of colposcopic examinations and make colposcopic diagnosis more difficult.
용융탄산염연료전지(MCFC) 스택의 1200시간 운전 후 분리판 채널부 표면 열화 분석 및 연구

Of all components of MCFC(molten carbonate fuel cell), corrosion of separator is one of the most decisive factor for commercializing of MCFC. In order to provide better understanding of corrosion behavior and morphology for gas channel of separator plate, post-analysis after cell operation for 1200 hours at 650 ℃ was performed by optical microscope, SEM and EPMA. Intergranular corrosion was observed on gas channel of separator plate. Corrosion product layer was identified as Fe-oxide, Cr-oxide and Ni-oxide by EPMA, and oxide thickness was measured with a 60 ㎛-150 ㎛. Also, gas channel of separator was damaged by severe intergrannular attack with post analysis in consistent with immersion test. Moreover, pitting on the channel plate was observed with a depth of 18~24 ㎛. The results of immersion method are well agreement with post analysis measurements.

This paper presents control characteristics of a quarter-vehicle electrorheological(ER) suspension system by adopting a discrete-time fuzzy sliding mode control algorithm. A cylindrical ER damper is designed and manufactured by incorporating Bingham model of the ER fluid. After evaluating the field-dependent damping characteristics of the ER damper, a quarter-vehicle ER suspension system is constructed which is composed of sprung mass, ER damper, spring and tire. After deriving the governing equation of motion for the quarter-vehicle ER suspension system, a discrete-time control model with system uncertainties is formulated in a state space. A stable sliding surface is then designed followed by the formulations of a discrete-time sliding mode controller which consists of a discontinuous part and an equivalent part. In the controller formulation, the fuzzy control algorithm is also adopted to increase system robustness to the uncertainties and achieve faster reaching to the sliding surface. The controller is then realized and control performance is compared with the performance of continuous-time sliding mode controller.
