        느타리속 버섯류의 영양성분 및 생리활성

        일반 느타리 13품종과 색상 느타리 5품종을 사용하여 아미노산 및 polyphenol, β-glucan 함량을 분석하고, 생리활성으로 항산화 및 항암, 항고혈압, 항혈전, 항당뇨, 항염활성을 측정하였다. 느타리버섯 18종의 아미노산 분석결과 전반적으로 감칠맛을 내는 glutamic acid 함량이 비교적 많이 함유되어 있었고, 필수아미노산 성분도 고르게 분포되어 있었다. Polyphenol 함량에서는 전 품종에서 20 mg% 함량이상을 나타냈으며, 노랑느타리(R)가 39.13±0.82 mg%로 가장 높았다. β-glucan 함량은 노랑느타리(R)에서 37.67±0.22%로 가장 높았으며, 그 외에 원형1(C), 장안PK(A)에서 각각 28.75±0.61%, 27.95±0.33%의 순으로 나타났다. 전자공여능에서는 노랑느타리(R) 버섯의 DPPH IC50값이 2.93±0.44 mg/mL로 가장 낮아 항산화 활성이 가장 우수한 것으로 나타났으며, 세포독성 실험에서는 노랑느타리(R) 에탄올 추출물 1% 처리시 신장 암세포에 대해 36.90%의 세포 억제율을 보였다. ACE 저해활성의 경우 노랑느타리(R) 에탄올 추출물 1%농도에서 60.5±0.2%의 저해율이 측정되었고, 흑평(B) 56.7±1.1%, 여름(H) 52.4±1.3% 수준으로 나타났다. 항혈전 활성에서는 3%농도에서 흑평(B)과 삼복(G)을 제외한 나머지 느타리버섯 에탄올 추출물에서 50%이상의 용해 활성을 보였으며 노랑느타리(R)에서 거의 plasmin과 동등한 활성을 나타냈다. 항당뇨 활성에서는 노랑느타리(R)의 경우 50.5±0.8%의 비교적 높은 효소저해율이 측정되었고, 항염활성에서는 노랑느타리(R)에서 68.4±0.3%의 억제율이 측정되었다. 이상의 결과로 일반 느타리 13 품종과 육종 재배된 색상 느타리 5품종 중 노랑느타리(R)가 가장 우수한 생리활성을 나타내 향후 기능성 소재로의 활용가능성이 기대되었다. In this study, the anti-oxidant, anti-tumorigenic, anti-hypertensive, anti-thrombic, anti-diabetic, and antiinflammatory properties of 18 different species of genus Pleurotus were investigated. In addition, the amino acid, β-glucan, and polyphenol content were also measured. All species contained more than 20 mg% of polyphenol with the highest contents found in Pleurotus cornucopiae var. citrinopileatus (yellow pleurotus) (39.13±0.82 mg%). The β-glucan contents was also the highest in yellow Pleurotus (37.67±0.22%) followed by Won-Hyeong1 (C, 28.75±0.61%) and Jang-an PK (A, 27.95±0.33%). The yellow Pleurotus exhibited the highest antioxidant activity as assessed by the DPPH scavenging rate with an IC50 value of 2.94±0.44 mg/mL. Ethanol extracts from the yellow Pleurotus treated at 1% concentration showed cytotoxic activity up to 36.9% in the human embryonic kidney 293T cell lines. The yellow Pleurotus also showed the highest inhibitory effects on ACE activity (60.52±0.2%). Finally, the yellow Pleurotus exhibited anti-diabetic and antiinflammatory properties as shown by inhibition of α-amyloglucosidase activity (50.5±0.8%) and nitric oxide production (68.4±0.3%). Taken together, our data indicate the yellow pleurotus is a promising functional food ingredients.

        국립공원 탐방로 안전지수 및 등급분석에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 탐방로 안전성 평가 모델을 활용하여 21개 국립공원을 대상으로 안전지수와 등급분석을 수행하였다. 현장조사를 통해 탐방로 주변 위험요소 중 하나라도 확인되면 취약구간으로 판단하여 안전지수를 산출하였다. 취약구간은 총 180.4km로 조사되었으며 탐방로 총 연장 1,995.5km 대비 약 9.0%로 확인되었다. 안전지수는 총 200점 중 최소 42.3점에서 최대 167.0점 분포를 보이고 평균값은 101.5점으로 나타났다. 안전지수를 토대로 등급을 분석한 결과, ‘관심(Concern)’ 등급은 60.8km(34%), ‘주의(Caution)’ 등급은 57.8km(32%), ‘위험(Dangerous)’ 등급은 49.6km(27%), ‘매우위험(Very dangerous)’ 등급은 12.2km(7%)로 나타났다. 매우위험 구간은 북한산국립공원(6.0km), 지리산국립공원(3.3km), 오대산국립공원(1.6km), 설악산국립공원(0.9km), 월악산국립공원(0.4km), 속리산국립공원(0.01km) 등 6개 국립공원 탐방로에서 총 12.2km로 나타났다. 북한산국립공원은 Y계곡, 의상능선 등이 해당되며, 지리산국립공원은 칠선계곡, 구룡계곡에서 확인되었다. 오대산국립공원은 노인봉 일원, 설악산국립공원은 공룡능선, 흘림골 등에서 나타났다. 월악산국립공원은 금수산 일원, 속리산국립공원 막장봉 구간이 매우위험 구간으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 향후 재난위험 저감대책 수립과 탐방로 정비 우선순위 선정 등 국립공원 안전관리 정책을 수립하기 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다. In this study, the safety indexing and grading analysis were conducted for 21 national parks, using the trail safety evaluation model. If any one of the risk factors around the trail was identified through a field survey, the safety index was calculated by judging it as a vulnerability zone. The vulnerability zone was 180.4km in total, and it was found to be about 9.0% compared to the total length of 1,995.5km. The safety index was distributed from the minimum of 42.3 to the maximum of 167.0, and the average value was 101.5 of total 200 scores. As a result of analyzing the grade based on the safety index, 60.8km (34%) was in the ‘Concern’ grade, 57.8km (32%) was in the ‘Caution’ grade, 49.6km (27%) was in the ‘Dangerous’ grade, and 12.2km (7%) was in the ‘Very dangerous’ grade. ‘Very dangerous’ sections were found to be a total of 12.2 km. including 6 national park trails: Bukhansan National Park (6.0km), Jirisan National Park (3.3km), Odaesan National Park (1.6km), Seoraksan National Park (0.9km), Woraksan National Park (0.4km), Songnisan National Park (0.01km). In terms of ‘Very dangerous’ section, Bukhansan National Park included Y Valley and Uisang Ridge, and Jirisan National Park included Chilseon Valley and Guryong Valley. The area of Noinbong in Odaesan National Park, and Gongnyong Ridge and Heulimgol in Seoraksan National Park were included. And the Geumsusan area in Wolaksan National Park and Makjangbong in Songnisan National Park were found to be ‘Very dangerous’. This study could be used as basic data to establish national park safety management policies, such as selecting priority of trail maintenance and establishing countermeasures to reduce disaster risk.

        Comparative Analysis of Risk Factors on Korea National Park Trails - Focusing on Bukhansan and Seoraksan National Park -

        국립공원은 대부분 산지에 위치하는 지리적 특성상 자연재해 위험요인들이 산재되어 있고, 각종 안전사고로 인한 인명 및 재산피해가 지속적으로 발생되고 있다. 본 연구는 선행연구를 통해 수집된 탐방로 안전성 평가 자료를 기반으로 유사한 특성을 보이는 북한산국립공원과 설악산국립공원의 위험요인 분포 및 특성을 비교 분석하여 효율적인 탐방로 안전관리 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 북한 산국립공원은 추락, 미끄러짐 등 안전사고로 인한 위험요인이 매우 높게 분포하는 반면, 설악산국립 공원은 안전사고보다 낙석 위험요인의 분포가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 기존의 탐방로 안전관리의 획일적 정책방향을 개선하고 유사환경의 국립공원이라도 지질, 지형, 탐방객 특성 등 환경적 요인에 따라 세분화된 기준 수립의 필요성을 도출하였다. 본 연구는 향후 탐방로 안전관리 기술 고도화와 전문성 향상, 체계적인 안전관리로 인한 인명 및 재산피해 예방에 기여할 것으로 기대된다. National parks are geographically located in mountain areas, and natural disaster of risk factors are scattered, and damage to human life and property is continuously occurring due to various safety accidents. This study tried to suggest an efficient trail safety management plan by comparing and analyzing the distribution and characteristics of risk factors in Bukhansan and Seoraksan National Park, which show similar characteristics, based on the trail safety evaluation data collected from the previous studies. In Bukhansan National Park, risk factors due to safety accidents such as fall and slipping are very high, whereas in Seoraksan National Park, the distribution of risk factors for falling rocks is higher than safety accidents. These results improved the existing standardized policy direction for trail safety management and derived the necessity of establishing subdivided standards according to environmental factors such as geology, topography, and visitor characteristics, even in national parks with similar environments. This study is expected to contribute to the improvement of trail safety management technology, enhancement of expertise, and prevention of damage to human life and property due to systematic safety management.

        Multiple births conceived by assisted reproductive technology in Korea

        Purpose: The recent trends of multiple births (MBs) conceived by assisted reproductive technology (ART) in Korea were analyzed as well as the relationship with maternal age, especially advanced maternal age. Methods: Data were obtained from the Korean Statistical Information Service and annual ART reports from the ART committee of the Korean Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Results: MBs increased from the early 1990s; there was a 275% increase by 2008. The number of total live births was 448,153 and MBs accounted for 10,767; the MB rate was 24.0% in 2006. Among 2,326 deliveries conceived by ART, multiple deliveries accounted for 786 (33.8%). The total number of live births with ART was 3,125 and 1,585 (50.7%) of them were MBs. During 2006, 14.7% of the entire MBs in Korea were associated with ART. The proportion of women of advanced maternal age was much higher in the ART group than in the total live birth group. Conclusion: MBs in women of advanced maternal age have been increasing in Korea with the use of ART. The results of this study showed that ART was a significant factor associated with the increase in MBs in Korea.

        The small molecule phenamil is a modulator of adipocyte differentiation and PPARγ expression

        <P>We previously described the use of a cell-based screening approach to identify small molecules that regulate adipocyte differentiation. Here we identify the amiloride derivative phenamil as an adipogenic compound. Phenamil acutely induces expression of the key transcription factor of adipogenesis, peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ (PPARγ) and, consequently, promotes the differentiation of multiple preadipocyte cell lines, including 3T3-L1 and F442A. Interestingly, the adipogenic action of phenamil is distinct from and additive with both PPARγ ligands and the previously identified adipogenic small molecule harmine. To identify signaling pathways mediating phenamil's effects, we performed transcriptional profiling of 3T3-F442A preadipocytes. ETS variant 4 (ETV4) was identified as a gene rapidly induced by phenamil but not by other adipogenic small molecules or PPARγ agonists. Transient expression of ETV4 in preadipocytes enhances the expression of PPARγ. Stable overexpression of ETV4 promotes expression of PPARγ and its downstream target genes and enhances morphological differentiation. Finally, knockdown of PPARγ expression by shRNA blocks the effects of phenamil on adipocyte differentiation and gene expression, but it does not block phenamil induction of ETV4, which suggests that ETV4 acts upstream of PPARγ in differentiation processes. These results identify a phenamil as new small molecule tool for the probing of adipocyte differentiation that acts, at least in part, through induction of ETV4 expression.</P>

      • Development and Status of Smartphone Application for Farm Recordkeeping

        This study was carried out with the goal of improving accessibility for farmers in record management. The pre-survey for farm records found that the main reasons for lack of records were “no need” and “no time” to keep such records. Based on the results of the pre-survey of smartphone-based farm recordkeeping, the major composition articles were management books, daily work logs, analysis books and additional books compiled by setting log in, notice and suggestions. The number of smartphone- based farm record books was 4,430 nationwide. We also updated farms keeping records on seven occasions for user convenience. Regional differences in the utilization ratio of record books showed that continuous promotion and education aimed at users were key points of success for farm recordkeeping books.

        DISCRETE PROOF OF EVEN KAKUTANI EQUIVALENCE VIA ${\alpha}$- AND ,${\beta}$-EQUIVALENCE

        It has been known that if T and S are even Kakutani equivalent, then there exists U such that T and U are $\alpha$-equivalent and S and U are $\beta$-equivalent where $\alpha$ and $\beta$ are irrationally related. In this paper we give a complete discrete proof of this theorem without using R-actions.
