This paper represents to develop a computer software system which is capable to analyze the phase transformation of high strength steel(BV-AH32) and to predict heat transfer and welding residual stress due to phase transformation during Gas Metal Arc(GMA) welding. The developed model was considered temperature dependent properties such as young's modules, coefficient of thermal expansion and yield stress as well as the double ellipsoidal heat distribution by the moving arc. From the results, it was found that the longitudinal and transverse residual stresses calculated by the coupled analysis of heat transfer, residual stress and phase transformation showed good agreement with the experimental data. In addition, the temperature distribution as well as longitudinal and transverse residual stresses of weldment by the 1-pass and 2-pass of welding were also determined.

인터넷 환경에서 웹의 급속한 성장과 더불어 디지털 도서관에 관한 연구가 활성화되어 왔다. 디지털도서관의 전자문서를 효과적으로 관리하고 검색하기 위해서 문서 메타데이터의 취급은 매우 중요한 과제이다. 본 논문에서는 하나의 확장 Dublin Core 메타데이터 모델을 제시하고 객체지향 데이터베이스 개념 데이터 모델을 설계하였다. 제안된 모델은 멀티미디어 전자문서에 대한 관리와 검색의 효율성을 제공할 수 있다. According to the rapid growth of world-wide web in internet environment. the research on the digital library has been activated. In order to provide the efficient management and retrieval of electronic documents in digital library, the treatment of document metadata is a very important task. In this paper, we propose an extended Dublin Core metadata model, and design its object-oriented database schema. The proposed model will be able to provide the efficiency of the management and retrieval for multimedia electronic documents.
양극성 장애 환자에 있어서 Tyrosine Hydroxylase 유전자의 VNTR 다형성

목 적: Tyrosine Hydroxylse는 대뇌 카테콜아민 합성에 관여하는 속도 제한 효소로서 양극성 장애의 주요원인 유전자로서 관심의 대상이 되고 있다. 이에 저자들은 tyrosine hydroxylse 유전자의 첫 번째 intron내 VNTR 다형성 부위와 양극성 장애와의 유전적 연관성을 알아보고자 본 연구를 시행하였다. 방 법: 115명의 양극성 장애 환자와 85명의 정상 대조군을 대상으로(TCAT) 반복 염기 서열을 포함하는 VN-TR 다형성 부위를 중합효소연쇄 반응을 이용하여 증폭한 후 유전자를 동정하였다. 분리된 4종류의 대립 유전자를(TCAT) 반복 횟수에 의한 다형성에 의거하여 각각 A : (TCAT)6, C ; (TCAT)7 C : (TCAT)a, 그리고 D : (TCAT)9로 나누어 대립유전자와 유전자형에 따른 빈도 차이를 비교하였고, 환자군을 가족력유무와 발병 연령에 따른 임상 아형으로 나눈 후 각 대립유전자의 빈도를 조사하여 비교하였다. 결과 1) 환자군과 대조군 사이의 대립유전자 비교에서는 환자군이 대조군보다 A형의 빈도가 유의하게 낮았고 D형의 빈도는 유의하게 높음을 보였다. 또한 유전자형에 따른 비교에서 BD형이 환자군에서 유의하게 높았다. 2) 환자군을 가족력 유무에 따라 가족력이 있는 군과 가족력이 없는 군으로 나누어 각각 및 대조군과 대립유전자 빈도를 비교하였을 때 가족력이 있는 군과 가족력이 없는 군 사이에서는 차이가 없었으나. 대조군과 비교시 가족력이 있는 군에서 A형이 유의하게 낮았고 D형이 유의하게 높은 빈도를 보였다. 3) 환자군을 발병 연령에 따라 조기 및 만기 발병 군으로 나누어 각각 및 대조군과 대림유전자 빈도를 비교하였을 때 조기 발병군이 만기 발병군에 비해 D형이 유의하게 높았고, 대조군과 비교시 조기 발병군 에서 A형이 유의하게 낮았고 D형이 유의하게 높은 빈도를 보였다. 결 론: 본 연구를 통하여 저자들은 TH 유전자 첫 번째 intron내의 VNTR 다형성 좌위가 양극성 장애와 유전적 연관이 있음을 추정할 수 있었으며, 특히 대림유전자 A형과 D형이 양극성 장애와 관련된 유전자로서 작용할 가능성이 있음을 알 수 있었다. Objectives :Tyrosule hydroxylase(TH) is a rate-limiting enzyme in the synthesis of catecholamines, and could be a candidate gene for causing the bipolar disorders. Therefore, we designed this study to investigate the association of the VNTR(variable number of tandem repeats) polymorphic locus in the first intron of the TH gene with bipolar disorders. Methods: We typed VNTR polymorphic region of the TH gene using PCR in 115 bipolar patients and 85 normal controls. Four types of alleles(A, B, C, D) were typed according to the difference of the repeat(TCAT)6-9 number. The frequencies of allele and genotype were compared between patients and normal controls, and in patients and normal controls allelic frequencies were compared respectively in terms of family history of affective disorders and age of onset. Results . 1) The allelic frequencies were significantly lower in type A, and significantly higher in type D in patient group compared to control. The genotype frequencies were significantly higher in type BD in patient group than in control group. 2) In comparing the allelic frequencies among patient group with and without family history and control group, there were no significant differences between groups with and without family history, whereas patient group with family history showed lower significance in type A and higher significance in type D compared to control group. 3) In comparing the allelic frequencies among patient groups with early onset and late onset and control group, patient group with early onset showed higher significance in type D than patient group with late onset and showed lower significance in type A and higher significance in type D compared to control group. Conclusions : The authors conclude that the VNTR polymorphic region of the TH gene might be associated with bipolar disorders, and type A and type D alleles might be susceptibility genes of bipolar disorder.

The present study was performed to see whether it has relationship between the height and weight of the body that is depended on the height and weight of the body and the variety of the pulse and breath in sports activities. Chung Nam National Univ. female students were chosen for study. Total number of objects were 116, who had been randomly selected. The following can be presented as conclusion. 1. Comparing with another group, university female students generally have the slender style of the body. 2. We can't discover the difference among the styles of the body on variety of the pulse and breath in general activities. 3. The fat style group was appeared as a group with the most frequency of the pulse and breath after sports activities. 4. The difference between the frequency of the pulse and breath before sports and that after sports was remarkable on the fat style group. 5. No significant relationship was shown between the style of the body and the variety of the pulse and breath, but a significant difference in the pulse and the breath can be shown between the normal style and the fat style if it's the heavy fat style.

The present study was performed to see the basic thought about physical education. Sungkyunkwan University students were chosen as objects for this study, Total number of objects were 300, who had been randomly selected. The followings can he presented as conclusion. 1) They think to have good health and physical strength and excellent motor ability but to not have enough sports activities. 2) In university, addition of sports fan and interest in physical education depend upon preperation of implements and facilities before everything. 3) Physical education must be researched intensely and support about study and facilities are needed in national level. 4) They understand an educational system for an expert in early period and using of sports in politic diplomacy.
Refractory Ceramic Fiber와 Rock Wool로 자극한 폐포대식 세포에서 Reactive Oxygen Species 분비와 관련된 세포내 신호변환계

Objectives : It is known that the high fibrogenecity of particles is connected with their cytotoxicity for macrophages. Although the molecular mechanism leading to fiber-induced fiber-induced cytotoxicity is still not clear, several mechanism have been suggested. The release of reactive oxygen species(ROS) from activated alveolar macrophages(AM) by dust have been suggested as a possible mechanism of particle-induced cell damage. But the mechanism which man-made vitreous fiber(MMVF) induces the production of ROS in AM is still not clear. In this study, we evaluated the relationship between ROS production and lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) release from alveolar treated with refractory ceramic fiber(RF2) or rock wool(RWI) and signal transduction path-way of ROS production in RF2 or RW1 exposed AM. Methods : We investigated LDH release from MMVF-stimulated AM for index of cytotoxicity. To determine what kind of signal transduction pathways are involved in MMVF-stimulated ROS generation, we used some drugs which have an effect on the signal transduction pathway. Results : RF2 and RW1 induced increase of LDH release with dose-dependent manner with RF2 having greater effect than RW1. There was a dose-dependent increase in the production of ROS by RF2 or RW1. At all level of concentration, RF2 induced more ROS production than RW1. Inhibitors of PKC(bisindolylmaleimide), PLC(U73122 and neomycine) and PTK(genistein and erbstatin) suppressed RF2 or RW1-induced ROS production. Conclusion : There was significant correlation between LDH release and ROS production from AM treated with RF2 or RW1. RF2 and RW1 induced ROS generation through protein kinase C(PKC), phospholipase C(PLC) and protein tyrosin kinase(PTK) pathways.

Aphasia in adults occurs secondary to cortical or subcortical disease such as stroke to the language-dominant left hemisphere. Aphasia is an acquired communication disorder characterized by an impairment of language modalities, speaking, listening, reading and writing. Stroke is the most common cause of aphasia. It can be classified into specific syndromes according to the ability to produce, understand, repeat language, and fluency. There are several syndromes of aphasia such as Broca's aphasia, Wernicke's aphasia, conduction aphasia, global aphasia, transcortical motor aphasia, transcortical sensory aphasia, anomic aphasia and each is associated with a particular set of language capabilities and disabilities. Global aphasia is when both expressive and receptive problems are present. Treatment by speech therapist is based on a careful assessment of all communication modalities: speaking, listening, reading, and writing for restoration of speech and language abilities, and treatment was individualized. Common methods of speech therapy are auditory stimulation approach, melodic intonation therapy, and visual action therapy. The primary treatment for aphasia is speech therapy that focuses on relearning and practicing language skills and using alternative or supplementary communication methods. The purpose of speech therapy is to help the patient to fully utilize remaining skills and to learn compensatory means of communication. Patients’ families are very important in the rehabilitation process. In the recovery from aphasia the importance of an interested spouse, family or communication partner and environmental support. The importance of application of the specific methods and therapies for the rehabilitation of aphasic patients is pointed out.

To investigate processes of solute transport, the Navier-Stokes equation was used to represent flow structure and then advection-diffusion equation was used to simulate distribution of solute concentration. The QUICK and the central difference schemes were used to treat advective and diffusion terms. The QUICK (Quadratic Upstream Interpolation for Convective Kinematic) difference scheme, based upon assuming quadratic upstream interpolation rather than linear interpolation between the grid points, has a stable convective(advective) sensitivity. The distribution of COD concentration was simulated based on discharge and COD level of riverine inflower, with coastline given before and after reclamation respectively.
자발성 뇌지주막하출혈 환자에서 Cardiac Troponin Ⅰ를 이용한 심근손상의 발생율

Background : More than 90% of acute stroke patients have measurable cardiovascular sequelae, but we have been often overlooked in formal discussions of treatment. If we estimate the incidence of myocardial injury in patients with spontaneous SAH, we may figure the possibility of cardiac dysfunction in such patients. This study was designed to investigate the incidence of myocardial injury in patients with spontaneous SAH using cardiac troponin I(cTnI). Methods : A prospective single emergency center study was performed to determined preoperative incidence of unrecognized cardiac injury in patients suffering spontaneous SAH. We include the spontaneous SAH patients who underwent serum measurements of the cardic troponin I immediately upon admission last six month period. ECG, CK, CK-MB and myoglobin were also performed at admission. We excluded the spontaneous SAH patients who had past history of myocardial ischemia and ECG abnormality. Results : Fifty-two patients(34 females, 18 males) with spontaneous SAH were studied prospectively. 18 patients(34.6% of the total study population) had cTnI level above 0.5ng/ml. ECG was performed in 52 patients and was abnormal in 15 of the 52 patients(28.8%). Conclusion : The measurement of cTnI has provided physicians with a myocardial marker that has a cardiac sensitivity for cardiac injury equal to that of CK-MB yet with greater specificity. So, cardiac troponin I is useful to estimate the incidence of myocardial injury in patients with spontaneous SAH. And we may estimate the possibility of cardiac dysfunction in such patients. This knowledge will hopefully aid in the care and improve the outcome.

기업 내 관련 업무 및 조직의 유기적 연결을 통한 원활한 정보의 흐름은 생산성의 중대에 많은 영향을 주며 기업의 경쟁력과도 밀접한 관계가 있다.이러한 이유로 연구개발에서부터 설계, 제조, 판매에 이르기까지 컴퓨터와 통신기술을 활용하여 기업의 업무 흐름을 통합적으로 관리할 수 있는 컴퓨팅 시스템이 필요하다.그러나 기업 내 업무의 성격 및 규모, 어플리케이션 튜닝 등의 충분한 검토가 수행되지 않은 컴퓨팅 시스템은 개발비용의 부담과 더불어 시스템의 성능을 오히려 저하시킬 수 있다.본 논문은 생산 제조 업체의 업무의 성격과 환경에 적합하고 업무의 흐름을 유기적으로 통합 관리할 수 있는 클라이언트/서버 기반 생산 관리 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.
