        Inverters with high speed switching and advanced PWM techniques are widely used for variable speed applications. But some adverse effects on the stator winding insulation are reported due to excessive voltage stress, which results in the premature insulation breakdown. This is aggravated by the high switching speed of modem switching devices such as IGBT (Insulated Gate Bi-polar Transistor) with which the rate of rise in voltage (dv/dt) increases considerably. In this paper, the test results for evaluation on the stator winding insulation of 310V induction motors are presented. Also, the insulation characteristics are presented in order to analyze the insulation strength under high voltage due to high switching speed of IGBT PWM inverter. 26 induction motors of 6 types with different wires and insulation techniques are built and thoroughly tested. The maximum partial discharge (PD) magnitude (Qm) and the discharge inception voltage (DIV) are obtained by PD test. Under AC current test, the rate of change in AC current (ΔI) and the change in dissipation factor (Δtanδ) are measured. From the above test data, the effects due to different wires and insulation techniques on the insulation characteristics of low-voltage induction motors are compared and analyzed. The insulation technique to enhance the insulation strength is suggested from the test results.

      • 土茯笭을 이용한 Rats의 水銀中毒 解毒에 관한 硏究

        산업화 사회의 등장으로나타난 중금속 중독은 이미 세상을 경악시키고 있다. 이에 대해 의약학계에서 많은 연구들이 이루어지고 있으나 한의학적 접근이 아직 이루어지지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 수은중독에 대해 한의학적으로 해독효과가 있다는 土茯笭을 이용하여 쥐를 통한 그 해독효과를 실험해 보았다. 조직내 수은함량, 조직내 MT함량, 혈액학적 변화, 장기조직 검사에서 유의한 결과가 밝혀졌으며 구체적인 해독의 기전과 성분은 알 수 없으나 토복령의 전해질 수분대사에 의한 작용인 것으로 사료된다. This study was performed to find out the antitoxic effects of Smilacis Glabrae aganist Mercuric Chloride poisoning. The experimental rats were divided into 4 groups such as mercury alone treatment group, and three dose groups of Smilacis Glabrae. Each group was administered with different dose of Smilacis Glabrae such as 15mg, 30mg, 45mg/kg wet weight in pallets for four weeds. Mercuric chloride was administered by 0.7mg/kg body weight rat per day. After giving the challenge dose, mercury, metallothionein concentration and histopathological changes were determined. The results were summarized as follows: 1. The simultaneously administration of Smilacis Glabrae and mercury significantly more decreased mercury concentration in liver compared to the administration of mercury only(P〈0.05). 2. The simultaneously administration of Smilacis Glabrae and mercury significantly more increased renal metallothionein concentration in liver compared to the administration of mercury only(P〈0.05). 3. When kidney and liver tissues were obsreved with as optical microscope, slight changes were visible in those tissues.

        Congenital cholesteatoma is a rare disease which originated from the ectoderm that from the primitive notochord and embryonal cell rests. It may occur in any portion of the cranial bones. Various symptoms may develope about position of the lesions. If the lesion located in the middle ear, symptoms were showed conductive hearing loss and normal tympanic membrane. We have experienced two cases of congenital cholesteatomas which were located in the middle ear. We report these cases with review of literatures.

        The Forgotten Theology. Once Gustavo Guti?rrez critically pinpointed the salient character of Christian religion: "Christianity has largely been, and still is, closely linked with one culture(Western), one ethnic strain(white), and one class(the dominant). Its history, too, has been written from a white, occidental, bourgeois bias,"14) As a matter of fact, Christianity in general is an outcome of Western mainstream tradition and its theology in particular is a product made in the Western hemisphere: one that is exclusively fabricated in the hegemonic matrix of the conventional hermeneutical circle which has long since negated the significant reality of the forgotten people, the forgotten tradition, and the forgotten God in the historical context of the world. The way in which Western traditional theology has been constructed in congruity with the circle, as already indicated, has deconstructed many other ways in which one may discover a number of truthful facts in those forgotten realities, recover their theological implications at the deeper level of meaning, and then uncover a new kind of theology from the traditionally forgotten point of view. Western mainline theologians in this sense are fundamentally incapable of having any room for doing theology with, the forgotten matters, since they are caught up in a vicious condition of the hermeneutical circle where the people are absent, their tradition is lost, and God remains dead.

        Induction motor drive with PWM inverter control has been developed for Korean High Speed Railways. To improve traction performance, the anti-slip control(ASC) to recover adhesion must be considered. This paper describes a novel hybrid anti-slip control method for the induction motor drive. By introducing the vector control for drive system, quick response of the motor torque can be achieved when wheels are going to slip. A hybrid control scheme by mixing two conventional control methods (slip velocity feedback control and slip detection pattern control) for wheel slip and re-adhesion is proposed. This control method is simulated by motor drive, train load, and friction-creep models. The train running simulation results based on induction motor vector control with PWM inverter show that good re-adhesion characteristics are obtained.

        ERP시스템 구축단계별 주요성공요인에 관한 실증적 연구

        The purpose of this study is to derive critical success factor for ERP system implementation by integrating managerial, technical, human resource and organizational culture factors which have been proposed as influencing factors for the performance of ERP system implementation in previous studies. Especially, this study divides ERP system implementation process into preparation stage. Implement stage and settle-down and stabilization stage, and then derives critical success factors in each stage. The data for empirical analysis of the research model are collected from 64 companies and the respondents for questionnaire consist of ERP system implementation project managers and user department managers in companies which have already operated it after ERP system installation. The main results of this study are as follows. First, it derives 27 success factors through comprehensive review of various factors which may affect ERP system implementation performance, and categorizes them into one of three stages: preparation stage, implement stage, and settle-down and stabilization stage. Second, the relationship between many success factors at each stage (preparation stage, implement stage, and settle-down and stabilization stage) and performance variables is tested. As a result, the significant correlations between many success factors at each stage and ERP system implementation performance are found, and the difference among success factors in the degree of influencing the system performance is significantly shown. Finally, the relationship between process-oriented performance variables and result-oriented performance ones is tested. As a result, it is found that there is significant correlation between process-oriented performance variables except for one variable - project resource management appropriateness - and result-oriented performance ones. The theoretical contribution of this study is to derive a comprehensive model of critical success factors for implementing ERP system project from the system development life cycle perspective, and empirically test it through field survey with a wide range of data collection. And, the practical implication of this study is to present the desirable guidelines for performing ERP system implementation project successfully.

      • 구멍밤고둥, Chlorostoma argrostoma turbinata의 생식주기에 관한 연구

        Reproductive cycle of the top shell, Chlorostoma argrostoma turbimta was investigated histologically to know it's gonadal development using gonadosomatic index(GS1). Samples were collected at the coastal area of Hamdok in Cheju-Do from Nobember, 1994 to September, 1995. 1. Chlorostoma argrostoma turbinata appeared to be dioecious, and neither sex reversal nor hermaphrodi-tic. The sex ratio was approximately 1:1. 2. The gonad was located on the surface of the liver in the posterior spiral meat part of the shell. 3. In male and female. GSI began to increase from April when water temperature began to increase and reached it's maximum value in August. It began to decrease September thereafter, maintained relatively low value until January. 4. The annual reproductive cycle of this species could be classified into five successive developmental stage ; multiplication stasge, growing stage, mature stage, spent stage, degenerative and recovery stage. 5. In male and female, spawning time were from March to December but, main spawing time were September.
