1. 목적 급성백혈병의 화학요법에 있어서 관해유도 요법시에 보다 더 강력한 항암화학요법을 시행하고 골수억제의 회복을 위하여 말초혈액에서 채취한 조혈모세포의 투여로 그 효과를 증대시키고자 시도하였다. 2. 방법 관해유도 화학요법후에 골수억제시기로부터 회복단계로서 백혈구감소증이 호전도면서 단핵세포가 증가될 때에 말초혈액에서 조혈간세포(stem cell)로 인정되고 있는 CD34+세포의 함유량이 1% 이상되는 시기를 찾아내고 그 때부터 평균 4차례의 단핵구를 분리채집을 하여 -74。C에 냉동보관하였다가 제2차 화학요법후에 해동시켜서 정맥주입하였다. 3. 결과 대상 급성백혈병환자는 6명에 23회의 조혈간세포를 함유한 단핵구 채집을 시행하였고 유효한 단핵구의 채집은 4례에서 가능하였고 2례에서는 유효한 채집이 못되었다. 채집효율은 39.0-74.5%로서 평균 49.8%였다. 채집 후에 혈액학적 변화는 혈색소의 약간 감소 (평균 1.34g/dl)와 혈소판의 감소 (평균20.25%)를 나타내었다. 해동 단핵구를 투여할시에 일과성인 불쾌감, 기침, 흉부압박감, 호흡곤란 등이 있었다. 4. 결론 자가골수이식에서 자기말초혈액조혈간세포이식으로 관심이 이행되는 현시점에 자가조혈간세포를 채집하여 수혈하는 기술이 확립되는 기초를 이루었다고 본다. 이번 대상들은 재발된 금성백혈병들에 시행하였으나, 향후에는 초발시에 제일차 관해유도 화학요법 과정에 시도해야할 것으로 생각한다. Object: Peripheral blood stem cells(PBSC) were collected after remission induction chemotherapy and reinfused after intensified chemotherapy in order to increase the chemotherapeutic efficacy. Method: Collection of mononuclear cells (MNC) was started when CD34+ cells above 1% and WBC above 1,000/ul with mononuclear cell percentage above 30%, the collection procedures were done 2-6 time in each patient of total 6 cases. The collected MNCs were stored in - 750C and reinfused after thawing in the water bath at 370C Results: Twenty three collection procedures from the 6 cases of acute leukemia had made effective MNC collection in 4 cases and mean collection efficiency was 49.8%(from 39.0% to 74.5%). Hematological changes after the procedure were mean reduction of hemoglobin 1.34g/dl and mean 20.25% of decreased platelet count. There were noticed transient symptoms of discomfort, coughing, chest tightness and dyspnea in association with the infusion of stored cells. Conclusion: The basic process for the peripheral blood stem cell transplantation (PBSCT) was accomplished with this supportive care for the consolidation chemotherapy of acute leukemia. Effective PBSCT would be warrented with more qualified process and high does chemotherapy. (Korean J Blood Transfus 6(2) : 41~47,1995)

A 6 years old Schunauzer dog (7.2kg, intact female) with history of hematuria for two days was referred to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital of Chungnam National University. Complete blood cell count showed no significant abnormalities and serum chemistry profile showed increased phosphate profile. On urinanalysis, there was evidence of bacterial infection. On ultrasonographic evaluation, irregular renal contour and increased echogenecity, pelvic and uretral dilation, and thickening of urinary bladder wall were observed. Based on these finding, the dog was diagnosed as pyelonephritis. The dog was treated with antibiotics based on antimicrobial susceptibility test results, then successfully resolved after 8 weeks of treatment.

This article describes quality of service granted transport network architecture for broadband convergence network. Recent rapid developments in communication services gave significantly altered the lifestyle of many people. With the increasing demand for access to the internet, the amount of data traffic in next networks has increased and will dominate these networks., Therefore, next generation broadband convergence network should offer quality of service transportation for multimedia traffic. This article first define quality of service transportation in order to identity requirements of the QoS based transport network. Then the article considers the function and architecture of transport network that will satisfy those requirements.

A link level handoff scheme is proposed in this paper. The scheme reduce traffic losses during handoff. in wireless LAN based Home networking. The scheme utilizes buffer and image queue in the device derive, and it is able to recover traffic that would otherwise be lost during handoff. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can eliminate or significantly reduce the packet losses in UDP traffic, and help preserve througput for TCP traffic when the re-transmission time out is large. To achieve maximum benefit, we propose to apply the forwarding scheme adaptively depending on the traffic type.

Reactive oxygen species(ROS) are implicated in the pathogenesis of a wide variety of human diseases. Numerous studies indicate that ROS may serve as common intracellular molecules that contribute to the process of nuclear factor(NF)κB activation in response to a diverse stimuli. In our laboratory, we have demonstrated tat antioxidants could reverse the decline of immune function caused by exercise-induced ROS. Furthermore, it in necessary to understand a mechanism underlying ROS-dependent disorder in biological system. Recent studies have been shown that several gene expression were regulated by oxidants, antioxidants and other determinants of the intracellular reduction-oxidation(redox) state. In this process, NF-κB have been shown to play a important role. The purpose of the present investigation was to evaluate the effect of exercise-induced oxidative stress and antioxidnt supplementation on NF-κB activation in peripheral mononuclear cells. Forty male SD rats(4 weeks old) were randomly divided into noraml diet group and antioxidants(ATO) supplement group, and then ATO groups were treated with antioxidants(VE: 2001U/kg, VC: 50mg/rat, β-carotene: 300mg/kg, vitamin B6: 250㎍/100g, selenomethionine: 0.1mg/kg) for 16 weeks. After 16 weeks breeding at each condition, each group divided into two groups: Control group(CR) fed generally, Exercise group(CE) fed generally and followed by acute exercise 16 weeks later. Antioxidant Antioxidants and Exercise group(AE) fed with antioxidants and followed by acute exercise. The activation of NF-κB binding activity was increased after exhaustive exercise bout in both group. In addition, pretreatment of ATO group with the antioxidants mixture lead to the inhibition of NF-κB binding activity. This results suggest that NF-κB activation should be further studies in response to a variety of exercise.

Euclid's axiom of parallels looks more like a theorem than an axiom. It was suspected for a long time that the axiom of parallels could be proved from the other axioms of Euclidean geometry. The question was settled first around 1830 by three mathematicians who worked independently of each other, the German Gauss, the Hungarian Bolyai and the Russian Lobachewski. Each of them constructed a geometry, logically possessing equality of rights with Euclidean geometry, where the axiom of parallels was replaced by the following axiom: Suppose that s is a straight line and that A is a point not lying on s. Then there exists more than one straight line that passes through A and is parallel to s. The resulting geometry is called hyperbolic geometry. This geometry is a non-Euclidean geometry. Around 1870 the French mathematician Poincare´ constructed a model for hyperbolic geometry within Euclidean geometry. It follows that if hyperbolic geometry will ever lead to a contradiction, then Euclidean geometry also will. In this paper we shall study a model for hyperbolic geometry that is closely related to Poincare´'s model.

Unsteady-state temperature distributions and thermal deformations in high speed spindle are studied. For the analysis, three dimensional model is built considering heat transfer characteristics such as natural and forced convection coefficients Temperature distributions and thermal deformations are analyzed by using the finite element method. Results of analysis are compared with the measured data.

This is a comparative research of the reaction between field and track events' players and other players, and it was tried out for an analysis of what kinf of results took place. Especially, in this research, 100V-bulb, 100W, 60W, 30W, 10W were used as buzzer and light, and measured simple Reaction time, whole body Reaction time, field and track crouching-start Reaction time in five groups separately. Persons in custody were mainly students of Myung Ji University and player's group, field and track events' players were Han Kook National College of physical Education. Results were analyzed by Random-sampling in all 70: field and track events' players, 10; general students, 17; Physical Education department's students, 21; football team, 12; basketball team, 10. As mentioned above results, conclusions are as follows: 1) The mean value of the reaction time to buzzer and light stimulus of each test group came to results as follows. A. In the Case of simple reaction, when buzzer stimulated, basketball team students were fastest; 0.150sec(high), 0.161sec (low), the second, field and track team students; 0.152sec(high), 0.180sec (low), football team students; 0.167sec (high), 0.184sec (low), P.E. department's students; 0.250sec (high), 0.226sec (low), the lowest-general students; 0.420sec (high), 0.284sec (low). As these results are measurement chronometry of using shoulder articulation mainly, I think that basketball team students who use hands frequently are in the leading position resolutely. B. In the case of whole body working time, small differences are shown and the fastest reactions are shown in field and track team; 0.230sec (high), 0.233sec (low). The second, football team; 0.233sec (high), 0.235 (low), P.E. department students; 0.257sec (high), 0.183sec (low), (In bass P.E. department students were the fastest in reaction time). Basketball team; 0.268sec (high), 0.264sec (low), general students; 0.322sec (high), 0.336sec (low). C. Reaction time of crouching-start as group-to-group comparison was fast also in the group of useing feet frequently. field and track team was the fastest; 0.161sec (high), 0.123sec (low), the second, football team; 0.175sec (high), 0.173sec (low), basketball team; 0.181sec (high), 0.176sec (low), P.E. department students; 0.243sec (high), 0.266sec (low), general students; 0.261sec (high), 0.262sec (low). 2) Reaction time of luminous intensity in each team was results that buzzer was more stimulant to reaction than light. 3) Reaction time of luminous intensity of each testing group was shown according with intension of stimulus to bright light, and the reverse phenomenons came out. 4) Reaction of the tone of buzzer to the buzzer in each group was shown that reaction time to a loud buzzer was fast in superior groups, and in other groups, in a bass.
