Recently, there will be need to make up construction site on the reclamation ground in considering effective using the small country and expansion of urban site. therefore, there is coming many troubles such as effluence of seepage-out water and differential settlement as constructional structure is made on the soft reclamation ground. This study, examined behavior of foundation, property and behavior of pollution matter and the stable term of reclamation ground when reclamation ground is used to construction site, indicate that there are necessary fact for maintenance-management to investigate 10 case of reclamation construction for the analysis of troubles and their cause. Usually, the reclamation ground is constructing on the soft soils and lubricate action of pollution matter cause the lateral flow pressure to foundation pile. if there were considered to differential settlement pipe-line-arrangement of underground structure must be constructed with flexible joint and reclamation will be required to aseismic design as the shearing force of reclamation ground is suddenly decreased by vibration owing to construction property

The electrochemical property in H_(g)-(x)_Cd_(x)Te(x= 0.198) by anodic oxcidation have been studied in the standard aqueous solutions(pH=6, 9, 12) of ethylene glycol(90%) and H₂O-KOH(10%). At range of potential -0.1V ~ + 1.2V, 3 oxcidation peaks appeared. The rich residue Hg of HCT surface was related to oxcidation process of depleting Hg²+ ion in aqueous solution. Most of oxcidation materials were considered TeO₃ HTeO₃ HHgO₂, HTeO₂, TeO₂ and very little of Cd(OH)₂. The higher PH degree, the faster oxcidation process.
전이성 유방암에 대한 Cyclophosphamide , Adriamycin , Methotrexate , 5 - FU ( CAMF ) 4 제 복합화학요법

N/A Between November, 1984 and January, 1987 32 patietns with metastatic breast cancer were treated with CAMF combination chemotherapy. Median age waa 45. Fourteen patients had prior chemotherapy and 2 patients had prior endocrine therapy. The menopausal status was as follows; 13 patients were postmenopausal, 19 premenopausal. The performance status was grade 0 to 1 (ECOG) in 13 patients, 2 in 12 and 3 in 7. Treatment was cyclophosphamide 750mg/m iv, day 1, adriamycin 30mg/㎟ iv, day 1; methotrexate 40mg/㎟ iv, day 8, and 5-FV 500 mg/㎟ iv, day 9. The treatment was recycled every 4 weeks until the progression of disease. Among 32 patients, 18 (56%) achived responses (1 CR and 17 RP), Median duration of response was 9 months. Median survival for all patients was 12 months. Toxicity was as follows; leukopenia 56 %, thrombocytopenia 15%, N/V 63%. No treatmentrelated death was observed during the treatment. It was concluded that CAMF combination chemotherapy is not superior to other cornbination chemotherapy regiments, and myelosuppression is a major dose-limiting toxicity.

Raman characterization measurements are performed in order to study the effects of the furnace annealing and rapid thermal annealing on arsenic implanted silicon wafers. The post-implanted period was followed by thermal isochronal annealing at various temperatures. Special attention has been given to the amorphous/crystal transition occurring at various annealing temperatures. The changes of the dimensions of the microcrystalline regions and the root mean square bond angle deviation of Si-Si bonds in amorphized regions are evaluated.
Immuno-stimulating , Anti-stress and Anti-thrombotic Effects of Unossified Velvet Antlers

Both ethanol and water extracts of unossified velvet antler were found to exhibit a significant immuno-stimulating activity as measured by carbon clearance test in mice, a remarkable antifatigue effect in weight-loaded forced swimming performance in mice. a significant anti-stress effect on immobilization in rats. The antler extracts also showed a weak but significant anti-thrombotic activity. These findings are indicative of adaptogenic properties of antlers and their normalizing effects during stressful condition.
한국인의 위 Alcohol Dehydrogenase(ADH)활성도 및 각종 H-2 길항제의 백서 위 ADH에 대한 영향

We undertook this study to investigate possible sex-related difference of ADH activity and to determine how such a activity might be affected by long-term consumption of ethanol in man and to investigate the effect of H-2 receptor antagonist on gastric and hepatic ADH activities in rats. The subjects were the normal looking mucosa (n=27) and mucosa of lesion (n=21) from 21 male and 8 female at the time of surgery for advanced gastric cancer. In animal study, they were divided into seven different groups of forty-two rats. GrougⅠ were normal control rats receiving water and food ad libitum. The other groups were consisted of GroupⅡ (receiving cimetidine, 40 mg/Kg), GroupⅢ (ranitidine, 10 mg/Kg), GroupⅣ (famotidine, 1.3 mg/Kg);- Group Ⅴ (nizatidine, 10 mg/Kg), GroupⅥ (omeprazole, 1 mg/Kg), GroupⅦl (roxatidine, 5 mg/Kg). Each group was treated by above mentioned drugs for 7 days. The results are as follows: 1) The ADH specific activity levels measured in normal mucosa and mucosa of lesion were respectively 1.77±1.05, 1.98±1.06 unit/mg of protein, and there was not statistically significant difference between two goroups. 2) In nonalcoholic subjects, ADH specific activity levels (ment±S.D) were significantly higher in men (2.86±1.43) than women (1.36±0.52 unit/mg of protein)(p $lt; 0.05). 3) In men subjects, ADH specific activity levels (mean±S.D) were 50% lower in the alcoholic abuser than in the nonalcoholic subject. 4) The ADH specific activity levels measured in mucosa of lesion might be not affected by long-term consumption of ethanol and sex-related difference. 5) The group Ⅱ (receiving cimetidine, 40 mg/Kg) as compared to the group Ⅰ (control rats) showed a significant decrease of gastric and hepatic ADH activities (p$lt;0.05), however other groups did not show a significant decrease of gastric and hepatic ADH activites. So, we conclude that increased bioavaliability of ethanol, resulting from decreased gastric ADH activity levels, may contribute to the enhanced vulnerability of women and alcohol abuser to toxicity of alcohol and systemic effects of alcohol, and the toxicity may be exacerbated in patients receiving cimetidine.

<P>Type 2 diabetes (T2D) patients suffer from dyspnea, which contributes to disease-related morbidity. Although T2D has been reported to induce a catabolic state in skeletal muscle, whether T2D induces muscle wasting in respiratory muscles has not yet been investigated. In this study, we examine the difference in the molecular signaling signature of muscle wasting between the intercostal and gastrocnemius muscles using db/db mice, a well-known diabetic mouse model. Akt phosphorylation was significantly decreased in both the intercostal and gastrocnemius muscles of db/db mice and was accompanied by a decrease in mTORC1 activity. In addition, FoxO phosphorylation was suppressed, and ubiquitin-proteasome degradation, characterized by the level of Atrogin-1 and MuRF1, was subsequently enhanced in both muscle types of db/db mice. An increase in LC3BII levels and a decrease in p62 levels marked the occurrence of substantial autophagy in the gastrocnemius muscle but not in the intercostal muscles of db/db mice. Therefore, we suggest that the signaling events of muscle wasting in the intercostal muscles of db/db mice are different from those in the gastrocnemius muscle of db/db mice.</P>
Molecular characterizations of phosphoprotein of rabies virus circulating in Korea

Rabies is a major zoonotic disease that causes approximately 55,000 human deaths worldwide on an annual basis. The nucleocapsid protein and glycoprotein genes of the Korean rabies virus (RABV) have been subjected to molecular and phylogenetic analyses. Although the phosphoprotein (P) has several important functions in viral infection and pathogenicity, the genetic characterizations of the P of Korean RABV isolates have not yet been established. In the present study, we conducted genetic analyses of P genes of 24 RABV isolates circulating in the Republic of Korea (hereafter, Korea) from 2008 to 2011. This study revealed that the P genes of Korean RABVs are genetically similar to those of RABV strains of lyssavirus genotype I including V739 (dogs, Korea), NNV-RAB-H (humans, India), NeiMeng925 (raccoon dogs, China), and RU9.RD (raccoon dogs, Russia). Among Korean isolates, the RABV P genes showed low variability in the variable domains among Korean isolates; they had specific consensus sequences and amino acid substitutions capable of identifying geographic characteristics and retained specific sequences thought to be important for viral function. These results provide important genetic characteristics and epidemiological information pertaining to the P gene of the Korean RABV.
