독일 낭만주의 문학 속의 산업화와 자본주의 - 아이헨도르프의 『어느 게으름뱅이의 삶에서』를 중심으로

독일 예술시대의 절정인 낭만주의 문학에 대한 이해는 기존의 관념적, 심미적 접근이나 문예학적 분석을 통해서만이 아니라 사회경제적 해석을 통해서도 심화되어야 할 것이다. 본고는 독일 낭만주의 문학의 시대적 배경이 되는 19세기 초반 독일에서의 산업화의 진행과 자본주의의 정착, 그리고 그 결과로서의 물질주의의 확산에 주목하고자 하며, 아이헨도르프의 『어느 게으름뱅이의 삶에서』를 대상으로 그러한 시대적 징후를 포착하고자 한다. 산업사회의 도래에 대한 낭만주의의 반감과 저항은 낭만주의 문학의 속성상 불가피한 것이었는데, 다른 낭만주의자들과 마찬가지로 아이헨도르프의 이 작품에서도 당대의 사회경제적 변화에 대한 문제제기와 비판이 낭만적 동화의 형식으로 표현되었다. 또한 산업화 시대의 물질주의에 순응하는 속물적 소시민의 삶이 유일한 삶의 방식이 아니라 대안적 삶이 가능하다는 점을 주인공의 낭만적 방랑과 예술가적 삶을 통해 보여주고 있다. 그리고 그 저변에는 산업화와 자본주의와 물질주의의 가치기반이 되었던 청교도적 직업관과 노동윤리에 대한, 철저한 가톨릭 신도였던 아이헨도르프의 저항이 깔려있다. Die Antipathie und der Widerstand der Romantik gegen das Aufkommen der Industriegesellschaft waren aufgrund der Natur der romantischen Literatur unvermeidlich. Wie bei anderen Romantikern wurde auch in den Werken Eichendorffs die Infragestellung und Kritik zeitgenössischer sozioökonomischer Veränderungen in Form eines romantischen Märchens zum Ausdruck gebracht. Die vorliegende Arbeit widmet sich den Fragen, wie die Industrialisierung und der aufblühende Materialismus im frühen 19. Jahrhundert in Eichendorffs Erzählung repräsentiert werden, was Eichendorff dabei problematisiert, und welche Alternative er den Lesern vorstellt. Eichendorffs Erzählung Aus dem Leben eines Taugenichts gilt als Muster eines gegen gesellschaftliche Zwänge und ökonomische Vernunft gerichteten Nichtstuns und ihr Held als Ikone des romantischen Aussteigers. Der Held Taugenichts hat die bürgerliche Arbeits-und Berufsethik noch nicht in sein Gewissen aufgenommen. Ihm gelingt es am Ende trotzdem, ohne jeglichen Einsatz, ohne Streben nach Erfolg, ohne Fleiß und Tüchtigkeit, kurz; ohne jede bürgerliche wirtschaftliche Tugend sein sowohl materielles als auch immaterielles Glück zu machen. Hier ist eine klare Absage an das bürgerliche Leistungsprinzip und an die Erwerbsgesellschaft zu finden, und zeichnet sich Eichendorffs katholische Einstellung klar gegenüber der protestantischen Arbeitsethik ab. Damit zeigt Eichendorff, dass das Leben eines philisterhaften Kleinbürgers, der sich dem Materialismus der Industriezeit anpasst, nicht die einzige Lebensweise ist, sondern eine alternative Lebensform möglich ist.

분산 환경에서 LTMOS의 TMO 리플리카를 이용한 실시간 로드 밸런싱의 설계 및 구현

실시간 시스템이란 시간적인 제한을 가지고 작업 수행 결과의 정확도가 보장되는 시스템으로 경성 실시간 시스템과 연성 실시간 시스템으로 분류된다. 최근 분산 실시간 분야에서 새로운 패러다임으로써 폭넓게 활용되기 시작한 실시간 객체 모델인 TMO는 Kane Kim과 Kopetz에 의해 처음 제안되었다. TMO 모델은 경성 또는 연성 실시간 응용과 병렬 컴퓨팅 응용 프로그램에서 사용 될 수 있으며, 시스템의 기능적인 면과 시간 조건 수행 모두를 명확히 정의할 수 있다. TMO의 네트워크로 구성되는 실시간 분산 환경에서의 실행을 위해 몇 개의 TMO 실행 엔진이 개발 되었는데, 그 중에서 LTMOS라는 리눅스 기반의 연성 실시간 미들웨어 엔진이 한국외대 RTDCS lab.에서 개발되었다. 하지만 LTMOS의 실시간 시스템 수행 중 작업량의 과부하로 인한 deadline 위반이나, 시스템간의 분산 IPC 통신에 있어서 Channel Traffic이 빈번한 경우 실시간 시스템을 유지할 수 없다는 문제점들을 갖고 있다. 이러한 문제점들을 해결하고 조금 더 효율적인 실시간 시스템을 유지하기 위해서, TMO 프로그램의 resource 정보를 담고 있는 ODS(Object Data Store)만을 다른 노드에 있는 자신의 TMO 프로그램 Replica로 이주해서 실시간 로드 밸런싱을 구현하는 기법을 사용하였다. 이에 본 논문에서는 TMO 프로그램들의 deadline 위반 및 Channel Traffic 부하를 감지할 수 있는 Node Monitor와 최적의 노드를 선별할 수 있는 Migration Manager를 새롭게 추가하였고, 쓰레드들의 스케줄러인 WRMT에 이주 작업을 하기 위한 부가적인 기능을 구현하였다.

COMS On-board FDIR(Failure Detection, Isolation and Recovery) functions are implemented on the on-board software to satisfy the autonomy and failure tolerance requirements. This paper presents concepts of COMS Failure Management with hierarchical layers and addresses the characteristics of the FDIR layer from low level to high level. It is aimed at giving the reader the understanding how the COMS FDIR was designed and how works. It first recalls what are the system level applicable requirements, which are based on the COMS mission requirements. Then it describes the philosophy and structure of the FDIR and subsequently breaks it down into the several FDIR layers. It could be used as an important and useful reference of the information to design and develop an automatic FDIR mechanism in the future.

Computerized palpation systems have been studied for the quantitative characterization of prostate properties. The aim of this study was to evaluate the reliability of mechanical tumor localization maps by estimating correlation with pathological maps. A total of 120 indentations were performed on 10 specimens by using a sweeping palpation system in simulated environment conditions. Suspicious tumor lesions from the mechanical localization were compared to those of the pathological maps. The concordance rate between the mechanical localization maps and pathological maps was 81.7% (98/120). The positive predictive value (PPV) and the negative predictive value (NPV) of the proposed localization system were 78.6% (59/75) and 86.7% (39/45), respectively. Based on these data, the suspicious tumor lesions of mechanical localization maps were in close agreement with those from the pathological maps. The findings suggest that the high compatibility and detection rate of prostate tumor could be enhanced if computerized palpation and the conventional diagnosis are used synergistically. This study may contribute to technological progress in overcoming diagnostic limitations, which include many complications from digital rectal examination (DRE) and transrectal ultrasound (TRUS) guided needle biopsy.
