        Currently, to overcome the limit of a 14V power supply system and to enhance the stability of this system high and to make the fuel efficiency better, a research development of a 42V power supply system is actively the progress. As an intermediate step to change into an unity power supply system, a 42V/14V dual power supply system uses a DC/DC Converter as one of structure elements. Considering the main electric power sources in the next generation of the car is a 42V system, a 14V power supply system has advantages as follows : to be managed efficiently and to increase the redundancy at start, to jump start with any vehicles, etc. We need the introduction of a bi-directional converter that can flow the energy each other in a dual 42V-12V system. This paper proposed the ZVS bi-directional CUK DC/DC converter which decrease the weight with the size of the DC/DC Converter and minimize the loss when the switching happen. In this paper, a circuit design method and an action principle of the circuit was proposed. To verify the proposed circuit, a comprehensive evaluation with theoretical analysis, simulation results is presented.

      • Trolox가 백서 태자 중뇌조직 배양에 미치는 영향

        Parkinson's disease has pathological changes which are the depletion of dopamine producing neurons in the pars compacta of the substantia nigra. It is treated with L-dopa or the stereotactic thalamotomy which may assist to relieve the symptoms of Parkinson's disease, but often unacceptable side effects occur and such therapies can't prevent the progression of the disease. As a new therapeutic modality, the transplantation of the dopamine producing neurons was designed and has been attempted. For the effective results of the neural transplantation, the author wanted to preserve neuronal cells more effectively. So, the author considered the use of antioxidant, alpha-tocopherol. Alpha-tocopherol was reported that it was involved in mechanisms regulating neuronal survival and neurite formation in the central nervous system. It is extremely lipophilic and taken up by cells relatively slowly. It is not an ideal therapeutic antioxidant. Trolox, a hydrophilic analogue of alpha-tocopherol was reported to scavenge peroxyl radicals better than vitamin E and penetrate biomembranes more rapidly. The effects of Trolox on the culture of the ventral mesencephalic neurons of fetal rat were studied. Primary culture were established from 14-day fetal bain of SpragueDawley rats. The neurons were cultured on 24 wells with the media. Trolox was administrated with the concentration of 0, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 3mM. More than 60% of the cells could survive for 7 days at above 1.5mM Trolox, whereas only 18% of cells were observed in its absence and development of cellular processes were markedly improved in trolox treated groups compared with that of control group. The increase of the concentration of the Trolox upto 2mM, the effect of neuronal survival were increased. So, the author concluded that Trolox was the effective modality for preservation and development of mesencephalic cells and the effect was increased as dose-dependent until 2mM. It may be involved in mechanisms regulating cellular survival and development.

        The spinal traumas in children are rare and exhibit different features other than in adults. We treated the 51 cases of pediatric spinal trauma in total 2624 spinal traumas during 19 years(from Jan. 1973 to Dec. 1991). The review of these pediatric cases was done. They showed higher cervical injury. higher incidence of SCIWORA(spina1 cord injury without radiographic abnormality) in more younger patients. The outcome after pediatric spinal trauma is relatively good.

        사회과학연구 제28집 8호 : 중국 옥외광고 효과에 관한 연구: 항저우 지하철역 광고를 중심으로

        본 연구는 중국 항저우시의 지하철역 광고를 중심으로 중국 옥외광고의 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해서 항저우시에 거주하고 있는 중국 소비자를 대상으로 광고의 매체별노출 빈도 및 주요 광고 매체에 대한 반응을 측정하였다. 이와 더불어 주요 옥외광고 매체인 지하철역 광고를 통해 형성되는 제품 인지도, 기업 이미지, 제품 구매의도 등을 알아보았다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 광고매체의 접촉률 결과에 따르면 중국 소비자가 가장 많이 접촉한 광고매체는 인터넷인 것으로 나타났다. TV와 신문과 같은 기존 광고매체는 다음으로 높은 접촉률을 차지하였다. 옥외광고 매체의 경우 옥상광고의 접촉률이 가장 높게 나타냈고 다음으로 많이 접촉한 광고매체는 지하철역 광고인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 주요 광고매체에 대한 반응을 측정한 결과, TV 광고, 지하철역 광고, 버스외부 광고의 광고효과가 전반적으로 높은 것으로 나타났다. 반면에 휴대폰, 라디오, 종이신문, 종이잡지, 옥상광고는 광고효과가 상대적으로 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 항저우 지하철역광고에 대한 반응 결과를 살펴보면, 지하철역 각 광고 유형에 대한 제품 인지도, 기업 이미지, 구매의도는 모두 비슷한 수준으로 나타났으나 전시 공간 광고에 대한 제품 인지도와 기업 이미지에 있어서는 남성이 여성보다 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 연령별 지하철역 광고매체에 대한 반응은 젊은 소비자가 각 유형 지하철역 광고에 대하여 보다 호의적으로 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study is to find out the effects of subway station advertising in Hangzhou, one of the largest cites to operate subway transportation in China. For this objective, this study identified Chinese consumers’ media exposure rates for last 24 hours dividing one day into the five major time periods. This study also examined Chinese consumers’ reactions to the major advertising media. In addition, this study tried to find out how Chinese consumers think about each type of the subway station adversing in Hangzhou. The results are as follows. First, according to the exposure rates of each advertising medium, the Internet was the most frequently used advertising medium in China. In terms of outdoor advertising, the rooftop advertising showed the highest exposure rate, and the subway station advertising was the second. Second, the respondents showed more positive reactions to TV, subway station, and bus shelter advertising while they showed relatively lower reactions to radio, newspaper, and rooftop advertising. Finally, male and female respondents showed similar reactions in terms of product awareness, company image, and purchase intention caused by subway station advertising. In summary, the subway station advertising exposure needs to be increased in Hangzhou. Nonetheless, Chinese consumers showed relatively positive attitude toward the subway station advertising.

      • 택배 분야의 인간공학적 연구를 위한 문헌 연구

        소형·소량의 운송물을 수탁하여 받는 사람의 주택, 사무실, 그 밖의 장소까지 운송하여 인도하는 것을 일반택배라고 한다. 택배업무에서 주요 작업은 화물분류작업(물류센터 작업), 차량운전, 집화·배송 등의 작업으로 이루어진다. 전세계의 택배 물량은 지속적으로 증가 추세에 있으며 특히 최근 코로나로 인해 급격하게 증가되었다. 국내의 택배업 종사자 수는 2019년 현재 약 6만명에 이르고 있고, 업체 간의 심한 경쟁과 낙후된 작업 환경 등으로 인해 2020년도에 16명의 택배 근로자가 과로사로 사망하였다. 2021년에는 생활물류서 비스산업발전법을 제정하기에 이르렀으나 택배 관련 인간공학적 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 산업재해를 예방하고 업무의 효율성을 높이기 위해 안전한 택배 작업 방안을 마련하고 작업의 표준을 설정하는 것은 매우 필요하다. 이를 위해 택배와 연관된 인간공학 분야 연구에 관한 문헌 연구를 실시하였다. 이와 같은 연구를 통해 택배업무와 관련하여 이제까지 수행된 다양한 연구를 살펴보고 우리나라 택배와 관련해 추진해야 할 연구방향을 제시하고자 한다. 문헌연구는 국내외 학술 DB와 학위 논문들을 중심으로 수행하였으며 가능한 전반적인 인간공학 분야를 포함시키고자 하였다.

      • Impact of Additional Downward Gas Collection on MSW Landfill Performance

        A municipal solid waste landfill still has played an important role as a solid waste management option. This study investigated the performance of simulated landfills with different biogas collection practices, including upward biogas collection only (LT) and both upward and downward biogas collection (LTB). In addition, the effects of leachate recirculation on the landfill performances were examined with the different gas collection practices. A stainless steel lysimeter equipped with a compression unit was used to simulate a landfill. With reducing void ratio in LT, high pressure buildup was observed and porched leachate was formed because of high resistance of upward gas flow against downward leachate flow. When both upward and downward gas flows were allowed (LTB), upward gas flow was favored in uncompressed MSW. During reducing void ratio from 2.5 to 1.0, the preferential flow direction of biogas was changed to downward gas flow along with gravimetric leachate drainage in LTB. It was considered that pressure buildup in LT gas-filled pores inhibited methane production by enhancing uneven moisture distribution. The effect of leachate recirculation in LT also was minor compared to that of LTB. Starting downward gas collection in LT, the porched leachate was disappeared. However, the performance of LT was not improved considerably after starting the downward gas collection. The cumulative methane volume produced from LTB was 1.5 times as much as that of LT. Enzyme activity analysis indicated that the enzyme activities of LTB were higher than those of LT due to increasing even moisture distribution and contact opportunity with organic matter. The results of microbial community analysis also showed that different LFG collection practice could affect microbial diversity.

        Living Related Liver Transplantation in an Infant with Neonatal Hemochromatosis

        Neonatal hemochromatosis (NH) is a severe neonatal liver injury that is confirmed by extra-hepatic iron accumulation. Although a recent study described treating NH with exchange transfusions and intravenous immunoglobulin, liver transplantation should be considered for patients with severe liver failure that does not respond to other medical treatment. Herein, we report the case of a two-month-old female infant who presented with persistent ascites and hyperbilirubinemia. Her laboratory findings demonstrated severe coagulopathy, high indirect and direct bilirubin levels, and high ferritin levels. Abdominal magnetic resonance imaging presented low signal intensity in the liver on T2-weighted images, suggesting iron deposition. The infant was diagnosed with NH as a result of the clinical findings and after congenital infection and metabolic diseases were excluded. The infant was successfully treated with a living-donor liver transplantation. Living related liver transplantation should be considered as a treatment option for NH in infants.

        Poor Prognostic Factors in Patients with Parenteral Nutrition-Dependent Pediatric Intestinal Failure

        Purpose: Parenteral nutrition (PN) not only provides nutritional support but also plays a crucial role in the treatment of children with intestinal failure. The aim of this study was to evaluate the clinical significance and clinical outcomes of long-term PN. Methods: Retrospective cohort study was conducted using the medical records of patients treated at Seoul National University Children's Hospital. This study included 19 patients who received PN for over six months. Most patients received home PN. Results: The indications for PN included short bowel syndrome, chronic intestinal pseudo-obstruction, and intractable diarrhea of infancy. The median age of PN initiation was 1.3 years, and the median treatment duration was 2.9 years. Two patients were weaned from PN; 14 continued to receive PN with enteral feedings; and 3 patients died. The overall survival rates at 2 and 5 years were 93.3% and 84.0%, respectively. The incidence of catheter-related bloodstream infections was 2.7/1,000 catheter-days and was associated with younger age at PN initiation and lower initial height Z-score. Six patients developed catheter-related central vein thrombosis, with an incidence of 0.25/1,000 catheter-days. Eleven patients experienced PN-associated liver disease (PNALD), and one patient underwent multi-visceral transplant. The patients with PNALD exhibited lower final heights and body weight Z-scores. All patients experienced micronutrient deficiencies transiently while receiving PN. Conclusion: PN is an important and safe treatment for pediatric intestinal failure. PNALD was linked to final anthropometric poor outcomes. Micronutrient deficiencies were common. Anthropometric measurements and micronutrient levels must be monitored for successful PN completion.
