Objectives : The aim of this study was to examine the behavioral and emotional problems associated with nocturnal enuresis in Korean children. Methods : Three hundred eighteen children with nocturnal enuresis, together with their parents, completed the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL), Disruptive Behavior Disorder Scale according to DSM-IV (DBDS), Children's Depression Inventory (CDI), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory for Children (STAIC), and Piers-Harris Children's Self-Concept Scale (PHCSC). Ninety-three normal students were selected as the control group. Results : Compared to the normal control group, the mean scores with regard to the withdrawn, social problems, attention problems, delinquent behavior, aggressive behavior, externalizing problems and total problems profiles were significantly higher in the nocturnal enuresis group according to the CBCL results. The nocturnal enuresis group also scored significantly higher in the ADHD and ODD profiles of the DBDS. The nocturnal enuresis group was more depressed and anxious than the control group according to the results of the CDI and STAI. The mean score of the PHCSC was significantly lower in the nocturnal enuresis group when compared to the normal control group. Conclusion : The results of this study suggest that children with nocturnal enuresis in Korea have clinically relevant behavioral and emotional problems. The findings support the link between nocturnal enuresis and psychopathology in Korean children.

Generally, the proportion of energy consumption in office building is approximately 3094 for air-conditioning and 30% for lighting. Therefore, reduction of energy related air-conditioning is the point of energy saving in building. However, because reduction of energy for air-conditioning is closely concerned occupant s health and pleasantness, the design of improving the second side on air-conditioning is the best plan to satisfy energy saving and pleasantness in the room. In addition to, change of temperature set up is the simplest energy saving method. Take notice of this point, we proposed task-ambient air-conditioning system as a new concept of personal air-conditioning system in office building, and actually made it and quantitatively investigated it s thermal environment and efficiency of energy saving through experimentation on this study.
서모 사이펀식 히트파이프를 이용한 건식 바닥난방시스템의 제안 및 성능평가

This research proposes a prefabricated floor heating panel system which is optimized through the real-scale model experiment. This system is alternated Cross Linked Poly-ethylene Pipe (XL pipe) by using thermo siphon type heat pipe that is used for a heat transfer tool in machine field. When applied this system to floor heating, floor surface and room temperature, operation form of boiler etc. are enough scope to apply to floor heating. Merely, the change of temperature of floor surface is serious because of no heat storage layer. This is the point to supplement through the optimization research hereafter. When we examine the data which is gained through the operating for 37days in winter, energy consumption characteristic between two systems turned at below zero 1.5℃. That is, heat pipe system was construed that energy expenditure of XL system is much more in lower than below zero 1.5℃.

The purpose of this paper is to analyse the performance of various types of ventilation system as differences of supply air temperature so as to numerically predict the airflow and the temperature distribution in an office building. The results according to location of the inlet and opening position, and the room temperature on thermal comfort and ventilation capacity were computed. It leads to know the optimal location of the inlet and opening position as differences of supply air temperature. Though the processes mentioned above, there is possibility of CFD in that evaluation of ventilation effectiveness can be easily obtained.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of mixed land use system and form-based code and propose a direction for efficient land use in Korea. Through review the entire contents of the US mixed land use system and form-based code and analyze the best practice of mixed land use system, form-based code through a review of the literature at home and abroad. The results of this study are as follows. It is expected that used as a reference material for practical use of land use flexibility on the current mixed land use system. The form based code can be used as a new alternative in terms of the system in which residents can participate in the planning process.
공기청정 겸용 전열교환 환기유니트 적용시 실내공기환경 CFD 시뮬레이션

Recently, indoor air pollution problem is happening in apartment housing due to the use of new building materials that emit poisonous chemical such as Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and Formaldehyde (HCHO) etc. Therefore, the issues about security of healthy dwelling environment is becoming important. There are the methods to reduce indoor air contaminant. First, source control which is the method to control the emission of contaminant from building materials. Second, adopting the air cleaning and ventilation system which is the method to dilute the concentration of contaminant and exhaust the contaminant to outside of the building quickly. In this research, we evaluated the improvement effect of the indoor air quality quantitatively by using CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation on the assumption that air cleaning and ventilation system is installed.

Background : To know whether the laryngeal mask airway (LMA) triggers a pharyngo-esophago-gastric reflex during general anesthesia, we compared the esophageal motility of patients with an LMA or endotracheal tube (ETT) in place. Methods : Fifty patients (ASA Ⅰ or Ⅱ) scheduled for elective orthopedic surgery with general anesthesia were randomly allocated into LMA (n = 30) or ETT (n = 20) groups. The esophageal manometric inputs were recorded continuously using an ambulatory esophageal manometric recorder and divided into five perioperative phases (preanaesthesia, induction, operation, LMA or ETT rejection, and arousal phase). Results : The peristaltic percent and number of contractions per minute were significantly decreased during induction, operation, LMA or ETT rejection and arousal phases compared with preanesthetic phases in both the LMA and ETT groups. However, there were no significant group differences in any corresponding perioperative phases. Conclusions : We suggest that during general anesthesia the use of a LMA does not provoke significantly different esophageal peristalsis compared with an ETT. Thus, the LMA is unlikely to potentiate gastric regurgitation and reflux during general anesthesia by stimulating the pharyngo-esophago-gastric reflex. (Korean J Anesthesiol 2002; 42: 141~147)

Reclamation area has a characteristic nature surroundings than a town-region or a inland area. It has a adverse conditions; low temperature, gale, much sunshine, moistured salt; at climate than inland area. In case propelling development with examining enough topography and climate characteristics of Water Front, climatic environment would grow worth. And it would lead to a rise of energy and maintenance expenses by calculating inaccurate capacity of installed equipments and by occurrence of defects of equipments. On this study, final object is selecting a friendly environment facility system and establishing a accurate energy supply and demand program in grasp of climate characteristic on reclaiming and developing in Busan Newport Area. So we drew up it based on AWS(Automatic Weather System) measure data and standard climate data in Busan Newport Area.
