The arils of Euphoria longana L. was extracted with 80% aqueous MeOH, and the concentrated extract was partitioned with EtOAc, H-BuOH and H₂O. From the n-BuOH fraction, four compounds were isolated through the repeated silica gel, ODS and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatographies. From the result? of physico-chemical data including NMR, MS and IR, the chemical structures of the compounds were determined as 1,1-dimethyl-2-propenyl 1-O-β-D-glucopyranoside. ethyl β-D-glucopyranoside, 5-(hydroxymethyl)-2-furfur-aldehyde and uridine. Uridine exhibited inhibition effect of 79% on platelet aggregation at the concentration of ㎍/㎖.

본 연구에서는 지반 및 구조물의 문제점을 이상화 하는데 필요한 응용기술을 개발하기 위해 공개되어 있는 소프트웨어 즉 도스용OpenSees프로그램을 윈도우상에서 말뚝의 정적 지지지력과 침하를 분석할 수 있도록 하여 윈도우상에서 사용자가 편리하게 전 처리와 후 처리 및 경제조건 처리가 가능하도록 OpenSees프로그램을 개선하였다. 본 연구에 사용된 지지력 분석은 유한요소해석과 합성된 하중전이함수에 근거한 수치해석방법이다. 본 연구에서는 흙 말뚝의 상호작용에 의한 마찰력과 선단 지지력을 각각 모델링하기 위해 경험적인 비선형 T-z과 Q-z곡선에 의한 하중전이법을 이용하여 하중재하에 따른 침하조건에서의 흙-말뚝의 반응을 나타내었다. 본 연구에서 예측한 정적 지지력과 침하량은 문헌에 의한 정적재하시험 결과와 잘 일치하는 것으로 나타나 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. The present study has extended OpenSees, which is an open-source software framework DOS program for developing applications to idealize geotechnical and structural problems, for the static analysis of axial load capacity and settlement of single piles in MS Windows environment. The Windows version of OpenSees as improved by this study has enhanced the DOS version from a general purpose software program to a special purpose program for driven and bored pile analysis with additional features of pre-processing and post-processing and a user friendly graphical interface. The method used in the load capacity analysis is the numerical methods based on load transfer functions combined with finite elements. The use of empirical nonlinear T-z and Q-z load transfer curves to model soil-pile interaction in skin friction and end bearing, respectively, has been shown to capture the nonlinear soil-pile response under settlement due to load. Validation studies have shown the static load capacity and settlement predictions implemented in this study are in fair agreement with reference data from the static loading tests.
A Multi-Layer ATM Restroration Architecture and Algorithms

In this study, we propose a multi-layer restoration architecture for ATM networks. It consists of three restoration layers. The first restoration layer is based on a preplanned VP restoration scheme. In this scheme, the routes of alternate VPs are prepared by an optimization model that considers network-wide resource utilization and rerouting costs. The second restoration layer is based on a preplanned VC rerouting optimization. In this study, we suggest a "preplanned" VC rerouting optimization to avoid contention between VP restoration and VC restoration on the same network resources. The third restoration layer is based on a new dynamic VP restoration procedure. Some computational experiments have shown the suggested multi-layer restoration architecture and the related algorithms are feasible to implement and effective for the survivable ATM network planning.

Osteoporosis is a state of reduced bone mass per unit volume with a normal ratio of mineral to matrix. Postmenopausal osteoporosis is known to be related to estrogen deficiency and give rise to spine and hip fracture in old women. The purpose of this study is to examine what are the effects of the Bogolsaengsukyonanggagam(BSK) on the ovariectomized rat model of postmenopausal osteoporosis. The results were summarized as follows 1. Body weight in control group showed significant increase in comparison with sham, but that in BSK-treated showed no change in comparison with control. 2. The level of serum albumin in control group showed significant decrease in comparison with sham. That in BSK-treated was slightly decreased in comparison with control, which showed no efficacy. 3. The level of serum ALP activity in control group showed significant increase in comparison with sham, but that in BSK-treated was slightly decreased in comparison with control, which showed no efficacy. 4. The level of serum phosphorous in control group showed significant increase in comparison with sham, but that in BSK-treated showed no change in comparison with control. 5. The level of serum calcium in control group showed no change in comparison with sham, but that in BSK-treated was significantly decreased in comparison with control. 6. The level of serum T_3 in control group showed no change in comparison with sham, but that BSK-treated showed significant decrease in comparison with control. 7. The level of serum T_4 in control group showed significant increase in comparison with sham, and that in BSK-treated showed significant decrease in comparison with control. 8. Trabecular tibia strength in control group showed significant decrease in comparison with sham, but that in BSK-treated showed no change in comparison with control. According to the above these results, BSK has shown to be capable of preventing and curing osteoporosis caused by postmenopause.

Blank optimization in stamping is a way to reduce the cost of unnecessary material consumption or subsequent trimming operations by acquiring the final target part in a single forming process. There have been many studies on blank optimization in room temperature stamping, but few studies have yet been conducted in hot stamping. In this study, a blank shape optimization was conducted for a T-shaped part simulating a body center pillar. A finite element analysis (FEA) for the hot stamping process was performed using an appropriately assumed initial blank shape, and the blank shape was updated based on the shape error between the outline of the deformed blank obtained from the FEA and that of the target part. The shape error was calculated by applying the modified radius vector method. Hot stamping test was carried out using the optimal shaped blank predicted by the FEA. It was confirmed that the outline of the deformed blank obtained by the actual test was very close to the outline of the target part. From the results of this study, it can be seen that the blank optimum design technique at room temperature stamping can be applied to the case in hot stamping.
