To establish a simplified analysis model of the shear bearing capacity of underpinning beams and study the shear bearing mechanism of underpinning beams, two underpinning beams adopting the roughening + planting bar + building glue connection method were tested and analyzed. The experimental and numerical analysis results show that the initial slip bearing capacity and initial slip amount of the underpinning beam are small, indicating that the connection method of roughening + planting bar + building glue is effective and feasible.The failure mode and mechanical performance of the underpinning beams are similar to the bending shear failure of a cast-in-place deep beam, and the crack development rule and failure mode of the specimen are in good agreement with the mechanical characteristics of the truss-arch model. Moreover, the theoretical and numerical results show that by increasing the reinforcement ratio of the stirrups, the ultimate bearing capacity of the underpinning beam can be improved, and the slippage between the new-to-old concrete of the beam can be effectively reduced. Finally, based on the truss-arch model theory and considering the concrete arch effect and softening effect, the shear bearing capacity calculation formula of the underpinning beam is established. The results show that the truss-arch model is applicable to the bearing capacity analysis of underpinning beams and provides a new perspective for the bearing capacity calculation of similar underpinning beams.

Construct a virtual cloud platform laboratory, based on the cloud technology. Introduce the design, construction and architecture of the cloud platform in detail. Analyze the advantage and security of the cloud platform. It has low cost of hardware and software, small late maintenance, and centralized data management, the security of data is greatly improved, compared with the traditional computer (PC) laboratory. Meanwhile the virtual platform also has the all characteristics of the real computer. The virtual cloud platform of the laboratory is the trend and direction of the development of the computer lab in the future.

Ni2+-functionalized Fe3O4@polydopamine magnetic nanoparticles (Ni2+-PD-MNPs) were designed and synthesized by in situ coating of magnetic nanoparticles with polydopamine, followed by conjugation of Ni2+ to the polydopamine film. The Ni2+-PD-MNPs were used to purify His-tagged red fluorescent protein (His-RFP) via affinity interaction between Ni2+ and the His-tag. The results showed that the Ni2+-PD-MNPs had extraordinary selectivity for His-RFP purification. In addition, a Histagged transaminase (ω-transaminase BJ110) was selectively immobilized onto the Ni2+-PD-MNPs without purification, and the immobilized enzyme showed improved specific activity, as well as enhanced stability and reusability.
Moving Object Detection Based on Improved ViBe Algorithm

In this paper, an improved ViBe background subtraction algorithm is proposed for dealing with ghost problem during the process of moving object detection. The ghost areas in image can be detected based on the theory that the histogram distributions of ghost areas have similarity distribution characteristics. However, the histogram distributions of real moving objects change with the real objects moving. The influence of ghost areas on moving object detection is eliminated. The improved ViBe, the original ViBe and the Gauss mixture model are compared and analyzed, The results show that the improved ViBe can effectively eliminate ghost areas, and has high real-time.
Influence of Coastal Wind on Surface Ozone and Nitrogen Oxides in Suburban Shanghai

Surface ozone, NO, NO2, and NOx were measured at a coastal site (Shihua) and a nearby inland site (Zhujing) in suburban Shanghai for the whole year of 2009. More days with ozone pollution in a longer time range were observed at the coastal site than the inland site. The diurnal variations of NOx concentrations were obviously higher at Zhujing station, while those of ozone concentrations were higher at Shihua station, indicating their different air pollution conditions. Coastal wind has significant influence on the levels and characteristics of the air pollutants. The ozone concentrations during maritime winds (MW) were much higher than those during continental winds (CW) at each of the site, while the NO and NO2 concentrations were both opposite. The ozone concentrations at Shihua station were much higher than those at Zhujing station, while the NO and NO2 concentrations were both opposite. The ozone concentrations at both of the two sites showed a distinct “weekend effects” and “weekdays effects” patterns during CW and MW, respectively. Correlation analysis of the pollutants showed that, the compounds during MW were more age than those during CW, and the compounds at Shihua were more age than those at Zhujing. The air pollutions at both of the two sites are mainly associated with the pollutants emitted in this region instead of long range transport.

Chinese chestnut (Castanea mollissima) is a woody plant species with important economic and ecological value and is widely cultivated for nut production. Due to its unique flowering structure, the identification of genes related to flower development is extremely important in Chinese chestnut, and MADS-box genes are directly involved in floral organ morphogenesis. In this study, we report a MADS-box gene family in Chinese chestnut. According to their gene structure and phylogenetic trees, 53 CmMADS proteins were identified and clustered into five groups in Chinese chestnut. The MIKC<SUP>C</SUP> group was further divided into 12 subgroups, and the BS subgroup was not found in Chinese chestnut. The classification and motif composition of Chinese chestnut MADS proteins were also analyzed. Additionally, we evaluated the expression of all the MADS-box genes in floral organs by quantitative real-time PCR. Overall, most of the type II genes had higher expression levels in the floral organs compared with leaves and cotyledons. These results provide valuable information for future studies of the regulation of MADS-box genes in Chinese chestnut during flower development.
Analysis of Operation Characteristics of a Diesel Generator Set with Constant‑Power Pulsed Load

To improve the power quality of a diesel generator set with a pulsed load in a microgrid, this paper studied the operation characteristics of the system and proposed pulsed load conditions for an actual project based on test data. For a low average pulse power and a high peak power, a new mathematical model of the pulsed load in diferent operation modes was proposed. Then, a simulation model of the microgrid was established in MATLAB/Simulink, and the operation of the system was studied considering changes in various pulsed load parameters (the peak power Pk, output duty cycle D and switching period Ts). It was verifed by tests that the simulation model is efective and can refect the operation of the system. Based on the simulation model, the operation characteristics of the system with a bivariate pulsed load were studied, and qualifcation conditions for the diesel generator set in an actual project were proposed.
