A single-clock-driven shift register and a two-stage buffer are proposed, using p-type, low-temperature polycrystalline silicon thin-film transistors. To eliminate the clock skew problems and to reduce the burden of the interface, only one clock signal was adopted to the shift register circuit, without additional reference voltages. A two-stage, p-type buffer was proposed to drive the gate line load and shows a full-swing output without threshold voltage loss. The shift register and buffer were designed for the 3.31 WVGA (800 × 480) LCD panel, and the fabricated circuits were verified via simulations and measurements.

Expressed sequence tags (ESTs) from the Antarctic green algae Pyramimonas gelidicola were analyzed to obtain molecular information on cold acclimation of psychrophilic microorganisms. A total of 2,112 EST clones were sequenced, generating 222 contigs and 219 singletons, and 200 contigs and 391 singletons from control (4oC) and cold-shock conditions (-2oC), respectively. The complete EST sequences were deposited to the DDBJ EST database (http:// www.ddbj.nig.ac.jp/index-e.html) and the nucleotide sequences reported in this study are available in the DDBJ/EMBL/ GenBank. These EST databases of Antarctic green algae can be used in a wide range of studies on psychrophilic genes expressed by polar microorganisms.

금속의 전기 비저항 측정방법은 일반적으로 4단자, van der Pauw, Four-Point Probe(FPP), eddy current 방법 등이 있다. 이들의 측정방법들은 각각 다르지만 동일한 시료에 대한 전기 비저항 측정값은 거의 같은 결과를 나타내어야 한다. 금속 전기 비저항의 정밀측정에 대한 연구를 위하여 비자성 금속인 STS 316 시료를 선정하여 측정한 결과 4단자와 van der Pauw 방법으로 측정된 비저항은 각각 75.86 ㎕ · ㎝(2.273 %IACS), 75.80 ㎕ · ㎝(2.275 %IACS)이며, 측정 불확도는 0.25 %로서 거의 동등한 결과를 나타냈고, Four Point Probe(FPP) 방법으로 측정된 비저항은 75.36 ㎕ · ㎝(2.288 %IACS), 측정 불확도는 0.45 %, eddy current 방법으로 측정된 비저항은 76.63 ㎕ · ㎝(2.25 %IACS), 측정 불확도는 0.64 %로 나타났다.

본 논문은 국부 영역에 적용적인 Bayer 패턴 영상 보간 방법을 제안하였다. Taylor series를 이용하여 국부 화소 특성을 잘 반영하는 색상 보간식을 구하고, 구한 보간식을 이용하여 수평, 수직 에지방향 판단 기준을 결정하였다. 에지 방향 판단 기준을 이용하여 국부 영역의 특성을 잘 반영 하도록 에지 방향에 따라 영역을 분류하였다. 판단된 영역에서 국부 영역의 특성에 적합하도록 앞서 구한 보간식에 의한 결과를 적절히 융합하여 최종 보간값을 결정하였다. 실험 결과는 제안하는 알고리즘이 기존 알고리즘 보다 우수함을 보여준다.
편미분 방정식을 이용한 purple fringing 제거

본 논문에서는 디지털 영상에서 흔히 발생하는 문제 중에 하나인 purple fringing 현상을 편미분 방정식을 통해 제거하는 방식에 대해 제안한다. 이를 위해 제안하는 방식은 기존의 purple fringing이 일어나는 영역을 무채색으로 변환하는 방식과 달리 편미분 방정식을 이용해 RGB 채널의 기울기를 맞추는 방법을 통해 자연스러운 결과 영상을 얻는 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법에 이용된 편미분 방정식은 purple fringing 영역에서 G채널의 기울기에 R채널과 B채널의 기울기의 차이를 최소화시키는 방법으로 설계함으로써 보정할 영역의 주변 영역을 경계 조건으로 사용함으로 인해 자연스러운 영상을 얻을 수 있다. 실험 결과는 제안하는 알고리즘이 기존 알고리즘보다 우수함을 보여준다.

Hot dip aluminizing (HDA) is widely used in industry for improving corrosion resistance of material. The formation of intermetallic compound layers during the contact between dissimilar materials at high temperature is common phenomenon. Generally, intermetallic compound layers of Fe2Al5 and FeAl3 are formed at the Al alloy and Fe substrate interface. In case of cast iron, high contact angle of graphite existed in the matrix inhibits the formation of intermetallic compound layer, which carry with it the disadvantage of a reduced reaction area and mechanical properties. In present work, the process for the removal of graphite existed on the surface of specimen has been investigated. And also HDA was proceeded at 800oC for 3 minutes in aluminum alloy melt. The efficiency of graphite removal was increased with the reduction of particle size in sanding process. Graphite appears to be present both in the region of melting followed by re-solidification and in the intermetallic compound layer, which could be attributed to the fact that the surface of cast iron is melted down by the formation of low melting point phase with the diffusion of Al and Si to the cast iron. Intermetallic compound layer consisted of Fe(Al,Si)3 and Fe2Al5Si, the layer formed at cast iron side contained lower amount of Si.

To keep enterprise's competitiveness on condition of the automatic manufacturing system such as FA, FMS and CIM, all the maintenance problems should be considered seriously in not only production and maintenance but also related industrial safety. As we analyze in the surveys for the maintenance management of domestic enterprises and the causes of industrial accident, there will be necessity of drawing up countermeasures for prevention of industrial accidents and for ensuring expertise maintenance technologies. Based on these analyses, this study studied the safety information system, maintenance management information system, and the machinery condition diagnosis technique by using of the knowledge-based system under the internet environment. This web based knowledge-based diagnosis system can easily provide not only the knowledge of expert about deterioration phenomenon of industrial robot, but also the knowledge of relating safety and facility on everywhere, everytime, Therefore, when we use this system, it is expected to improve the efficiency of business processes in the production and safety.

This study deals with the application of knowledge engineering and a methodology for the assessment and measurement of reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety of industrial systems using fault-tree representation. A fuzzy methodology for fault-tree evaluation seems to be an alternative solution to overcome the drawbacks of the conventional approach(insufficient information concerning the relative frequence of hazard events). To improve the quality of results, the membership functions must be approximated based on heuristic considerations. The purpose of this study is to describe the knowledge engineering approach, directed to integrate the various sources of knowledge involved in a FTA.

Especially, accident for construction Lift to construction work was showing decreasing tendency annually, was showing increasing tendency form 1995, and was showing still more serious problem than other kind of accident because of a wounded person more than the killed and injured. A study is th object to prevent noble life that industrial accident of producted construction Lift within the country from 1994 to 1998 is survey and analysis.
