한국어 학습자들의 학술적 글쓰기에 대한 인식 및 태도 연구

        곽준화(Guo, JunHua) 한국사회언어학회 2018 사회언어학 Vol.26 No.3

Guo, JunHua. 2018. “A Study on Korean learners’ Awareness and Attitude about Academic Writing”. The Sociolinguistic Journal of Korea 26(3). 1~30. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the awareness and attitudes of Korean learners about Academic Writing and to identify the problems which should be solved in academic writing education for Korean learners. For this, 62 foreign students were conducted a questionnaire survey, and 18 of them were interviewed to elicit their attitudes, perceptions about academic writing. A result of analysis showed that students have a very negative attitude towards writing. Moreover, they are not aware of the importance of writing. Therefore, they are negligent of writing and do not actively participate in academic activities. Second, students know the connection between general purpose writing learning and academic writing learning, but they have no systematic understanding of Korean academic writing. They simply gain knowledge of writing by imitating. Third, although they showed a willingness to be good at academic writing, they lacked subjective initiative on writing learning. And their writing study was centered on TOPIK. In order to solve these problems, this paper suggested solutions from an ecological perspective: language knowledge entry, learning environment, and learner’s self - growth. First, it is needed to help foreign students to have a systematic knowledge of academic writing as soon as possible. Second, outside the classroom, students should be offered a variety of opportunities to participate in academic activities.third, it is necessary to study the internal motivation of interest which attracts students’ attention and allow them to have a positive attitude about academic writing.

Design of a Low Distortion Head-Mounted Display with Freeform Reflective Mirror Based on Two Ellipsoids Structure

        Junhua Wang,Yuechao Liang,Min Xu 한국광학회 2016 Current Optics and Photonics Vol.20 No.2

A new method to design a low distortion, even relative illumination, optical see-through head-mounteddisplay (HMD) with a freeform reflective mirror (FFRM) based on the two similar ellipsoids structureis proposed. The HMD we have realized has a simple structure which consists of two similar ellipsoidsurfaces, an FFRM, a 7-piece co-axis relay lens, and an OLED. This structure can be applied to offsetdistortion, reach even relative illumination, and correct the off-axis aberrations. The HMD we finally haverealized has a near 3% low distortion, a higher than 80% relative illumination, and a 40°×30° field ofview (FOV).

MicroRNA-217 Functions as a Tumour Suppressor Gene and Correlates with Cell Resistance to Cisplatin in Lung Cancer

        Junhua Guo,Zhijun Feng,Zhi’ang Huang,Hongyan Wang,Wujie Lu 한국분자세포생물학회 2014 Molecules and cells Vol.37 No.9

MiR-217 can function as an oncogene or a tumour suppressor gene depending on cell type. However, the function of miR-217 in lung cancer remains unclear to date. This study aims to evaluate the function of miR-217 in lung cancer and investigate its effect on the sensitivity of lung cancer cells to cisplatin. The expression of miR-217 was detected in 100 patients by real-time PCR. The effects of miR-217 overexpression on the proliferation, apoptosis, migration and invasion of SPC-A-1 and A549 cells were investigated. The target gene of miR-217 was predicted by Targetscan online software, screened by dual luciferase reporter gene assay and demonstrated by Western blot. Finally, the effects of miR-217 up-regulation on the sensitivity of A549 cells to cisplatin were determined. The expression of miR-217 was significantly lower in lung cancer tissues than in noncancerous tissues (p < 0.001). The overexpression of miR-217 significantly inhibited the proliferation, migration and invasion as well as promoted the apoptosis of lung cancer cells by targeting KRAS. The up-regulation of miR-217 enhanced the sensitivity of SPC-A-1 and A549 cells to cisplatin. In conclusion, miR-217 suppresses tumour development in lung cancer by targeting KRAS and enhances cell sensitivity to cisplatin. Our results encourage researchers to use cisplatin in combination with miR-217 to treat lung cancer. This regime might lead to low-dose cisplatin application and cisplatin side-effect reduction.

Polysomnography and Neuropsychological Analysis of Patients With Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Two Years After the COVID-19 Pandemic in Wuhan

        Junhua Mei,Yanjie Xu,Xue Gong,Jinmei Xu,Guohua Chen,Weiqi Chen,Yicong Wang,Zhaohong Kong,Yilong Wang,Qing Yang 대한신경정신의학회 2024 PSYCHIATRY INVESTIGATION Vol.21 No.3

Objective We used polysomnography (PSG) monitoring and neuropsychological scales to explore the characteristics of coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) patients diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in Wuhan, two years after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods A total of 42 patients in the Sleep Medicine Center were diagnosed with insomnia between December 2021 and May 2022; they were divided into the PTSD group (patients with PTSD diagnosed with insomnia after COVID-19 infection) and the non-PTSD group (patients with insomnia without PTSD). A healthy control group was simultaneously included. Results The PTSD group was more significant than the non-PTSD group in partial manifestations of sleep disorders, neuropsychological clinical symptoms, and partial PSG data. Patients with different COVID-19 subtypes showed significant differences in the course of disease, sleep disorders, neuropsychological clinical symptoms, relevant scale scores, and PSG data analysis. Conclusion The emotional anxiety and depression of COVID-19 patients diagnosed with PTSD two years after the COVID-19 pandemic in Wuhan are more significant, and will not be self-alleviated with the passage of time. It is necessary to continue to pay attention to the PTSD symptoms and sleep psychology of COVID-19 infected patients, and take appropriate measures. Patients with severe and critical COVID-19 have more severe sleep and mental disorders, and there is a significant correlation between the duration of the disease and the severity of mental and mental disorders and sleep disorders after recovery.

Distributed Event-triggered Consensus Control for Heterogeneous Multiagent Systems under Fixed and Switching Topologies

        Junhua Huang,Liding Chen,Xuhuan Xie,Mufeng Wang,Bugong Xu 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2019 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.17 No.8

This paper investigates the distributed consensus problem for heterogeneous multi-agent systems via event-triggered scheme. To alleviate the communication burden, a distributed event-triggered consensus algorithm using an open-loo estimate and neighboring information is proposed. In the proposed event-triggered scheme, the control input of each agent is dependent on the estimate and information at discrete instants. Firstly, the novel event-triggered consensus algorithm is proposed for fixed topology, which involves the discrete communication between neighboring agents. Then, for the switching topology, the triggering condition is proposed by virtue of a topology-dependent dwell time approach. Further, the corresponding consensus procedures are given. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed scheme is illustrated by numerical results.

A Novel Electrochemical Method for Sensitive Detection of Melamine in Infant Formula and Milk using Ascorbic Acid as Recognition Element

        Junhua Li,Daizhi Kuang,Yonglan Feng,Fuxing Zhang,Zhifeng Xu,Mengqin Liu 대한화학회 2012 Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society Vol.33 No.8

A novel and convenient electrochemical method has been developed for sensitive determination of melamine (MEL) using ascorbic acid (AA) as the recognition element. The working electrode employed in this method was modified with the nanocomposite of hydroxyapatite/carbon nanotubes to enhance the current signal of recognition element. The interaction between MEL and AA was investigated by fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry, and the experimental results indicated that hydrogen bonding was formed between MEL and AA. Because of the existing hydrogen bonding and electrostatic interaction, the anodic peak current of AA was decreased obviously while the non-electroactive MEL added in. It illustrated that the MEL acted as an inhibitor to the oxidation of AA and the decreasing signals can be used to detect MEL. Under the optimal conditions, the decrease in anodic peak current of AA was proportional to the MEL concentrations ranging from 10 to 350 nM, with a detection limit of 1.5 nM. Finally this newly-proposed method was successfully employed to detect MEL in infant formula and milk, and good recovery was achieved.

Application of Computer-Aided Approaches to the PUMC Classification of Scoliosis

        Junhua Zhang,Hongjian Li,Yufeng Zhang 대한의용생체공학회 2017 Biomedical Engineering Letters (BMEL) Vol.7 No.3

Surgical planning for scoliosis relies on theclassification of the spinal curve pattern. To improve thereliability of the Peking Union Medical College (PUMC)classification system for scoliotic spinal curves, a computer-aided system is proposed and its reliability is evaluated. First, the reliability of curve measurements wasimproved by the computer-aided Cobb measurementapproach. Second, judgmental errors were reduced by thecomputer program through the automation of the PUMCclassification procedure. Four observers divided into anexpert group and a resident group participated in theexperiments. The kappa statistic was used to evaluate thevariability. Classifications of 65 scoliotic cases by the fourobservers showed that with the computer’s aid, the averageintraobserver and interobserver kappa values wereimproved from 0.86 to 0.93 and from 0.75 to 0.86,respectively. The results indicate that the proposed computerizedsystem can assist a surgeon in the PUMC classificationof scoliosis and is especially useful forinexperienced surgeons.

Acoustic Power Measurement for a Cylindrical Concave Transducer by using the Self-Reciprocity Method

Junhua Li,Lili Yu 한국물리학회 2018 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.73 No.1

A novel solution of measuring the acoustic power for a convergent cylindrical wave is proposed based on the self-reciprocity method, which turns the acoustic-power measurement to an electrical-parameters measurement. The formula for estimating the acoustic power was derived for a cylindrical concave transducer. The diffraction and the reflection corrections were also investigated for the precise measurement of the acoustic power. The performance of this method was compared with that of the radiation force balance (RFB) method. The experimental results showed good agreement. Moreover, the self-reciprocity method is more robust to the environment than the traditional RFB method and in practice can be extended to low-level acoustic power measurements.

      • Facial Feature Extraction Based on Weighted ALW and Pulse-Coupled Neural Network

        Junhua Liang,Zhisheng Zhao,Xiao Zhang,Xuan Wang,Yang Liu 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Signal Processing, Image Vol.9 No.8

In order to improve the robustness of face identification with the changes of illumina-tion, expression and facial alteration, a new facial feature extraction algorithm based on weighted adaptive lifting wavelet(ALW) scheme and pulse-coupled neural network (PCNN) is involved in this paper. The face images are decomposed into several subbands by weighted adaptive lifting scheme. Then the PCNN is utilized to decompose each weighted subbands into a series of binary images, the entropies of which are calculated and regarded as facial features. Experimental results show that the method yields a good robustness against the illumination, expression and facial variability and reduces the computer burden.
