      • The HBV DNA Amounts in Serum Have No relationship with ALT level and Hetergeneous Population Coexits in Chronic Hepatitis B Virus Infection

The HBV DNA Amounts in Serum Have No relationship with ALT level and Hetergeneous Population Coexits in Chronic Hepatitis B Virus Infection. Proceedings of International Symposium on East-West Medicine, Seoul. 212-230, 1999. -Hepatitis B is caused by hepadnavirus. Hepatitis B virus replicates through 3.5kb pregenomic RNA intermediate which is regulated by core promoter. Pathogenesis of hepatitis B virus has been bilieved the result of host immune response. But recently many studies have reported that high level of viral replication caused by mutation in core promoter might result in severs hepatitis. But these studies were performed in vitro, not in vivo. So there is yet debate about which factor, viral of host factor, is more important in pathogenesis of hepatitis B virus. So we measured real viral replication level in 204 chronic hepatitis B patients by quantifying HBV DNA from sera by our novel PCR-based more sensitive method, and compared these results with ALT level measured from same sera, which indicates liver cell damage. Surprisingly there are no significant correlation between HBV DNA quantity and ALT level. Then we cloned core promoter region. In SSCP, we found that many viral mutants coexist in one patient. Base on SSCP result, we chose main viral core promoter type in each patients, which is thought to determine overall viral replication level in this patient. Main type of core promoter region of each 41 patients were directly sequenced. And with these we measured promoter activity by luciferase assay system and compared promoter activity with on another. We found tha there were some differences in promoter activity according to core promoter sequences. And we constructed replication-competent viral constructs with core promoter from 41 patients and Transfected these into HepG2 cell and measured HBV DNA by southern blot. There were also differences in HBV DNA quantity according to core promoter sequences. On these all results we investigated correlation between the effect of HBV core promoter on viral replication in vitro and HBN DNA quantity, ALT level from sera of each patients. We found there is no significant correlation among them. As a result, we concluded that in determining severity chronic hepatitis B patients, host factors of each patient is more important rather than replicative activity of virus itself.

        Drivers normally operate an in-vehicle navigation system with their one hand or even one fingertip. When they type a korean word, they should use a korean virtual keyboard. There're several virtual korean keyboard systems, such as Qwerty, Alphabetic, Narat-gul and Chun-ji-in-systems. An in-vehicle navigation should offer one of these system 0; sometimes several systems. In this study drivers were tested with 4 different types of korean input systems and through this test, the question, "Which virtual keyboard is the most effective and reliable to the drivers?", will be answered.

        An oscillatory motion of natural convection in a two-dimensional square enclosure fitted with an incomplete horizontal partition is investigated by the flow visualization experiments. Two vertical walls of the enclosure are adiabatic, while the horizontal bottom wall is hot and upper wall is cold as isothermal, and a partition is situated perpendicularly at the mid-height of one adiabatic wall. The experiments are carried out with water(Pr=4.95) as the working fluid at Rayleigh number over the range 3.94 ×10? ?Ra?7.87 ×10?, the lengths of partition are varied from 1.5/13W to 11/13W, and the thermal conductivities of the partition are 0.14, 0.19, and 204W/m℃ respectively. As results, the length and the thermal conductivity of the partition, and Rayleigh number are significantly effected on the oscillatory motion within enclosure. The oscillatory motion of natural convection is found that the lengths of partition are from 1.5/13W to 11/13W at θ=0℃, sycg as an enclosure heated from below with an incomplete horizontal partition.

        The result of this research which has conducted over coaches, trainers, and parents to advance Taekwondo education through learning the management of training institutions was as following. First, the great percentage of people interested in Taekwondo training was younger generations. Second, gymnasium's location and signboards were very important to publicize. Third, the reasons to train Taekwondo were to protect themselves and to change their personality. Fourth, the reason to decide Taekwondo was because of children's parent. Fifth, education present condition of Taekwondo's problem were lack of the monograph possessions and VTR data. Sixth, Taekwondo education needs to educate the Taekwondo comprehensively like theory of Taekwondo. Seventh, Taekwondo education needs to grope some prevention systems of Taekwondo education. Eighth, Taekwondo gymnasiums need to raise facilities satisfaction to compete. After understanding the problems of Taekwondo training, one which nay help. First, the city and the state government must operate classes for Taekwondo coaches such as course for elementary physical education, old age, respiration of dan-qian, qi-gong, and Taekwondo gymnastics. Second. Taekwondo needs some precede new programs for being contact from children and toddlers to adult. Third, Taekwondo gymnasiums has to improve facilities for satisfaction.

        This paper proposed a partial resonant three-phase PWM AC-DC boost converter using a lossless snubber of high power factor. The proposed converter has a merit of simple controlled circuit because the input current control discontinuously. And it is improve to input power factor that the snubber capacitor's energy regenerate to the AC source side. Specially using the discontinue current mode in the reactor. Furthermore it is sure that the soft-switching method using lossless snubber. This topology is reduced a current / voltage stresses of resonant devices in addition to a partial resonant strategy. The result of simulations of the proposed topology included in this paper.

        The standards of power correction and reducing high harmonics in power converter system was recently published in the U.S. and Europe. And regulations of the Total Harmonics Distortion(THD) on industry and electronic machines are increasing. Therefore, the studies of reducing input power harmonics and power factor correction in the power converter system have been conducted actively in order to solve these problems. With regard to this, the third phase, AC/DC Converter of PWM Type, has been researched in the world. However, PWM Control type has fundamental problems such as a lot of power loss which is occurred when it controls the main circuit and difficulty in making it as a high power converter. Therefore, it is needed to draft the plan on low pass filter or active filter as their needs. This paper proposed multi-level PWM Control converter which controls input current by combining buck converters together to improve input current characteristic, and confirmed its validity throughout simulation and experiment. This method, which is multiplying and duplicating output of converter of equal capacity, is able to control unit power factor of input current, reduce the problem caused by high frequency switching, and apply to high power converter because filter is not necessary.

        Recent, Emergency Power Source littler by little Very important. Now, The converter is composed of a series connection of individual single phase converters. The number of the input current levels depends on the number of the individual inverters in series and their input current level. If the number of current levels is increased, smoother sinusoidal waveform can be obtained directly. In this paper discusses single-phase AC-DC converter that driven by binary combination at different transformer winding ratio by BCD code level. Also DC-AC Inverter. It has a advantage that constructs a control system simply and obtain load current of good quality without filter circuit and free from noise or isolation for lower switching frequency. This has merit that can do high power capacity. In this research, study on current type converter and inverter circuit that consist for possibility of AC-DC/DC-AC multi-level converter.

        The purpose of this study was to offer basic materials for physical education administration of communities by researching and analyzing influences of sport events on communities and influences of community development and sport events were studied. the followings are the results from the study of the strategy of using sport events and its improvement plans. first, development of new sports event program of resident's participation, management of club team and participating method as volunteer's participation using pro-sport event are suggested as a participating plan for the plan to expand the participation of sport event in local society. second, consciousness of the purpose have to be stood, rang of participation spreaded and it should be always new sports event as a plan for successful opening of sports event. Besides, assessment as a target participator, of course, should be done after the end of its event. Next preparation of administrative aspect is to set associated organizations and necessarily ensure the professional man power to bear full responsibility, and especially consider several plans for securing finance.
