The traditional way of maintaining social stability by emergency response management is being challenged at a time when ching as undergoing dramatic social and economic transformation and confronting the accumulating social risk. It is more important to establish a social risk assessment system which will enable local governments to prevent and resolve social conflicts. Suinning took the lead in implementing social risk assessment system to check the rationality, legality, feasibility and environmental risk prior to the decision-making of large business project. This system may shed some lights on how the local government shifted the mode of maintaining stability from a passive “control-oriented” approach to a more proactive “consultation-oriented” one.

Background/Aims: Bicarbonate-containing alginate formulations are reported to be effective for controlling reflux symptoms. However, the efficacy of Lamina G alginate without gas production has not been reported. The aim is to evaluate the efficacy of a non-bicarbonate alginate in individuals with reflux symptoms without reflux esophagitis. Methods: Participants who had experienced heartburn or regurgitation for 7 consecutive days were randomized to one of the following treatment groups: proton pump inhibitors (PPI) plus alginate (combination) or PPI plus placebo (PPI only). In addition, as a reference group, patients received placebo plus alginate (alginate only). The primary endpoint compared the percentage of patients with complete resolution of symptoms for the final 7 days of the treatment. Secondary endpoints compared changes in symptom score, symptom-free days during the treatment period, the Reflux Disease Questionnaire, Patient Assessment of Upper Gastrointestinal Disorders (PAGI)-Quality of Life and PAGI-Symptoms Severity Index scores, the investigator’s assessment of symptoms, and incidence of adverse events. Results: Complete resolution of heartburn or regurgitation was not significantly different between the combination and PPI only groups (58.7% vs 57.5%, p=0.903). The secondary endpoints were not significantly different between the two groups. Complete resolution of heartburn or regurgitation, did not differ between the alginate only reference group and the PPI only group (75.0% vs 57.5%, p=0.146). Conclusions: The addition of non-bicarbonate alginate to PPI was no more effective than PPI alone in controlling reflux symptoms.
MANET에서 단방향 링크 문제해결을 위한 소스 라우팅프로토콜의 설계

이질적인 노드들로 구성된 이동 ad-hoc 네트워크는 상이한 전송 능력을 가진 노드들로 구성되는 특성을 가지고 있다. 이런 특성으로 인해, 이질적인 노드들 즉, 높은 전송능력을 가진 노드와 낮은 전송능력을 가진 노드 사이에 단방향 링크가 형성된다. 현재까지 제안되어온 ad-hoc 라우팅 프로토콜들은 이러한 단방향 링크 문제를 명확히 해결하지 못하고 있다. 예를 들어 DSR(Dynamic Source Routing) 같은 라우팅 프로토콜일 경우 단방향 링크를 지원하고 있지만, 다중 flooding 방식을 사용하기 때문에 통신 오버헤드가 높은 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존 DSR 라우팅 프로토콜의 문제점을 개선하기 위한 새로운 라우팅 프로토콜을 제안하였고, 이 새로운 프로토콜은 DSR 라우팅 프로토콜보다30%~40% 정도의 브로드캐스팅 메시지를 줄이는 시뮬레이션 결과를 보였다. In an ad-hoc network, a communication link between two mobile computers is not always bi-directional, i.e. uni-directional, since transmission power of mobile computers is not the same. Though some ad-hoc routing protocols, e.g. DSR(Dynamic Source Routing), support routing with uni-directional links, multiple flooding (successive broadcasting) are used and communication overhead is high. This paper proposes a new ad hoc routing protocol based on DSR supporting uni-directional links. In our protocol, we using unicast RREP mechanism, this works better than multiple flooding in an environment with uni-directional links, Simulation results show the our routing protocol can reduce 30% ~ 40% broadcasting messages than DSR.
Molecular and Biochemical Characterization of a Novel Intracellular Low-Temperature-Active Xylanase

A 990 bp full-length gene (xynAHJ2) encoding a 329- residue polypeptide (XynAHJ2) with a calculated mass of 38.4 kDa was cloned from Bacillus sp. HJ2 harbored in a saline soil. XynAHJ2 showed no signal peptide, distinct amino acid stretches of glycoside hydrolase (GH) family 10 intracellular endoxylanases, and the highest amino acid sequence identity of 65.3% with the identified GH 10 intracellular mesophilic endoxylanase iM-KRICT PX1-Ps from Paenibacillus sp. HPL-001 (ACJ06666). The recombinant enzyme (rXynAHJ2) was expressed in Escherichia coli and displayed the typical characteristics of low-temperatureactive enzyme (exhibiting optimum activity at 35 o C, 62% at 20 o C, and 38% at 10 o C; thermolability at ≥45 o C). Compared with the reported GH 10 low-temperature-active endoxylanases, which are all extracellular, rXynAHJ2 showed low amino acid sequence identities (<45%), low homology (different phylogenetic cluster), and difference of structure (decreased amount of total accessible surface area and exposed nonpolar accessible surface area). Compared with the reported GH 10 intracellular endoxylanases, which are all mesophilic and thermophilic, rXynAHJ2 has decreased numbers of arginine residues and salt bridges, and showed resistance to Ni 2+ , Ca 2+ , or EDTA at 10 mM final concentration. The above mechanism of structural adaptation for low-temperature activity of intracellular endoxylanase rXynAHJ2 is different from that of GH 10 extracellular low-temperature-active endoxylanases. This is the first report of the molecular and biochemical characterizations of a novel intracellular low-temperatureactive xylanase.
