Short‑Term Load Forecasting Based on Deep Neural Networks Using LSTM Layer

Short-term load forecasting (STLF) is essential for power system operation. STLF based on deep neural network using LSTM layer is proposed. In order to apply the forecasting method to STLF, the input features are separated into historical and prediction data. Historical data are input to long short-term memory (LSTM) layer to model the relationships between past observed data. The outputs of the LSTM layer are incorporated with outputs of fully-connected layer in which prediction data, for instance weather information for forecasting day, are input. The optimal parameters of the proposed forecasting method are selected following several experiment. The proposed method is expected to contribute to stable power system operation by providing a precise load forecasting.

Objectives: As interest in wellness tourism is increasing in Korea, we sought to propose a program with Korean Medicine Contents for eight resorts in Gangwon-do, which has forests and marine resources. Methods: The authors visited eight designated resorts in Gangwon-do, observed the facilities, and interviewed the people in charge. Questions and answers were asked and answered in the form of a questionnaire regarding any deficiencies in the interviews. Afterwards, the contents were analyzed and a Korean Medicine program suitable for each resort was proposed. Results: A total of 17 Korean Medicine Programs were proposed, of which the meditation/yoga program and diet/drink program tailored to each constitution were proposed to be applicable to all 8 resorts. The rest were proposed considering each resort's facilities, environmental characteristics, and main product programs. Conclusions: It appears that the ‘meditation/yoga program’ and ‘constitutional diet and beverage development’ sectors are programs that can be commonly carried out by all facility companies, and for this purpose, the Sasang constitution test and Korean medicine measurement within the resort in Gangwon-do are used to create a program linked to this. In addition, we believe that efforts to improve the program through verification of efficacy will be necessary in the future

Using EVMS can probably cause lots of confusion under the different systems and different circumstances of the construction industry between Korea and the United States, because the United States has wide experience in applying to EVMS during several decades but Korea has not. Therefore this research deals with the problem about Performance Indices in forecasting EAC(Estimate at Completion) among the problems of using EVMS. It was verified the newly proposed method on an apartment construction project having relatively sufficient performance data in order to select the most satisfactory performance index to be used in domestic construction projects. Based on the result of statistical method obtained through the adequacy analysis and confidence analysis, the 0.8CPIC+0.2SPIC, which is used in the United States, was found to be suitable for Korea. The methodology may be applied in other construction types as well.

SiGe HBT를 이용하여, X-Bnad 대역의 Transceiver에 응용 가능한 차동형 전압제어발진기를 설계 및 제작하였다. Capacitive positive feedback을 이용하여 부성저항을 특성을 구현 하였으며, 인덕터와 버랙터를 사용하여 공진부를 구성하였다 측정 겉과, 제작된 전압 제어 발진기는 0 ∼ 2.8 V의 조절 전압 인가시, 8.55 ∼ 7.35 GHB의 1.2 GHz 튜닝 범위를 갖는 발진 특성을 나타내었다. 또한, 1.8 V의 조절 전압 인가시, 8 GHB에서 -7.7 dBm의 출력 전력 특성과 -106 dBc의 위상 잡음 특성을 각각 나타내었다.

Electrophoretic variations in isozymes encoded by 16 loci were studied to estimate genetic variation and to assess phyletic relationships, and biogeographic pattern of distribution of the Euphaedusa fusaniana collected from Sehwa, Aeweol, Samchuck, Tongdosa, Gernundo, and Y?su areas in Korea was discussed with respect to the isozyme variation. The 180 apecimens were examined. Means of allele per locus(?) and polymorphism(?) were 1.528 and 45.5%, respectively and hetrozygosity (?_(D)) was 0.205. Samchuck population showed lower mean value of allele per locus(?=1.46). Higher polymorphism(P=57.14%) was observed among Tongdosa popualtion. Aeweol population showed slightly lower genetic variation (H_(D)=0.15) than others. Average genetic similarities(?) among the six populations was 0.716 Aeweol and Samchuck populations were genetically closer(S=0.903) than others. However the S value between Y?su and Samchuch populations was low(S=0.562). Average genetic distance(?) among the 6populations were 0.267. Both Aeweol and Samchuck populations have closer genetic distance (D=0.067). Genetic distance pattern was similar to genetic similarity pattern.
