      • W-CDMA 망에서의 위치 서비스 기능 및 시스템 설계

        The LoCation Services (LCS) feature in W-CDMA(Wideband CDMA) network provides the mechanisms to support mobile location services for operators, subscribers and third part service providers. The existing location positioning method are classified into the cell ID based, OTDOA, and network assisted GPS. A new hybrid location positioning method which combines three of these methods are proposed. We present the LCS funcition and system design using SDL (Specification and Description Language) and SDL development tool (SDT). This design covers the LCS functional model and signalling procedure, system architecture, data structrue, and process SDL diagram.

      • RAPD 다형성 및 ABO 유전자형 분석을 통한 사상체질간 유전적 거리에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 사상체질인 태음인, 소음인 그리고 소양인간의 유전적 상관관계를 Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA(RAPD) 분석법 및 ABO 유전자형의 대립유전자의 빈도 분석을 통하여 실시하였다. 체질간 DNA 다형성을 검출할 수 있는 RAPD 분석용의 primer의 빠른 선별을 위해 체질별 혼합된 DNA 시료를 분석에 사용하였다. 일차적으로 200종류의 RAPD primer로부터 다형성을 보이는 7종류의 primer를 선별하였다. RAPD밴드로터 체질간 bandsharing(BS) 값은 0.68에서 0.71범위에 있었고, 유전적 거리는 BS 값에 의해 구했다. RAPD의 BS값에 의한 태음인과 소음인간 유전적 거리는 0.002이고, 이 두 체질과 소양인간에는 0.005로 분석되었다. 또한 체질별 ABO 유전형을 조사하여 그들의 대립유전자 빈도를 추정해 체질간 유전적 거리를 산출했다. 그 결과 태음인과 소음인사이에 유전적 거리는 0.014이고, 소양인과 나머지 두 체질간에는 0.032였다. 위와 같이 RAPD 분석법과 ABO 대립유전자의 빈도분석에 의한 체질간 상관관계는 두 방법 모두에서 태음인과 소음인이 소양인 체질보다 유전적으로 더 가깝게 나타났다. This study was carried out to be establish genetic understanding of Sasang constitutions of Teaumin, Soumin and Soyangin by Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA(RAPD) and ABO alleles frequencies analysis. We have applied RAPD analysis to pooled DNA sample as a means to achieve rapid screening of large numbers of primers for their capacity to reveal constitutions-specific polymorphisms. From initial 200 primers, 7 polymorphic primers between different constitutions were selected. The RAPD bandsharings(BS) values ranged from 0.68 to 0.71 for between three constitutions. The genetic distance between three constitutions was measured by BS values. Genetic distance by RADP analysis was 0.002 between Teaumin and Soumin, and 0.005 between Soyangin and the others. Three Sasang constitutions were investigated by the genotyping of ABO genotypes, and genetic distance was calculated from ABO allele frequencies in each constitution. As a result, genetic distance was 0.014 between Teaumin and Soumin, and 0.032 between Soyangin and the others. In conclusion, the genetic distance of Teaumin and Soumin was closer than that of Soyangin in the analysis of RAPD and ABO alleles frequencies.

      • ER유체의 역학적 특성 변화가 ER댐퍼의 댐핑력에 미치는 영향

        This paper presents semi-active ER damper for a passenger car. Damping performance of ER damper is evaluated with respect to the temperature variation and operating cycle. An appropriate size of the ER damper for a passenger car is proposed to investigate the effects of those Bingham characteristics on the damping performance. The ER damper is designed and manufactured on the basis of Bingham model of the ER fluids. The field-dependent damping forces are evaluated according to the temperature variation. The damping forces with mechanically operated ER fluids are also predicted from Bingham model. Finally, the damping force is tested up to half million cycles to validate the estimated damping force and also to demonstrate superior durability characteristics of employed ER fluids as well as mechanical emchanism of the ER damper.

      • ADENINE이 ETHIONINE으로 야기된 간세포상해의 회복에 미치는 영향에 관한 전자현미경적 연구

        흰쥐에 ethionine을 체중 gm당 1㎎씩 투여한 군 12마리와 같은 조건을 준 후, 6시간만에 adenine을 재차 투여한 군 12마리의 간세포에 일어난 변화를 생리식염수 단독투여군, 생리식염수 투여 후, adenine을 투여한 군 및 ethionine 투여 후, 생리식염수를 투여한군등 대조군과 비교하여, 전자현미경을 중심으로 하여 관찰한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 광학현미경으로는 ethionine을 투여 하면, 3시간째에 이미 혼탁종창을 비롯한 변성성 변화를 나타내어 시간이 갈수록 심해져서 12시간때에는 죽음의 직전에 이른듯한 상을 보였으나, adenine을 투여한 군에있어서는 전체적으로 변화가 경미하였으며, adenine투여 후, 6시간째에는 3시간째 보다 오히려 회복되는 경향을 나타내었다. 전자현미경으로는 ER의 확장 및 ribosome의 탈락등 단백합성기구의 변화와 mitochondria에는 종창, cristae의 기대 및 부분적 파열상을 보이고 핵은 변연의 불규칙, 염색질의 감소등을 나타내었다. 이러한 변화는 시간의 경과에 따라 더 심해졌고, adenine투여후 3시간 째는 ethionine단독투여군과 거의 같은 정도의 변화가 있었으나, 그 이후는 오히려 회복이되고 adenine투여 9시간에는 거의 정상한 세포에 가까왔다. 그러나, adenine투여 후, lysosome은 증가 하였다. 이상의 실험적으로 보아 ethionine으로 인한 간세포의 상해는 adenine으로 회복이 가능하며, 회복이 불가한 세포내 소기관은 그 회복된 단백합성 능력으로 새로이 형성된 lysosome에 의해 처리되나, 새로운 lysosome의 형성은 시간이 어느정도 (본실험에 의하면 adenine투여 6시간후) 걸린다고 생각된다. There are many reports about the hepatotoxicity of ethionine and the reversibility of the injury by methionine, adenine, inosine and so on. Ethionine induces degenerative changes of the liver cell nucleus and various cytoplasmic organells for which adenine may reverse and prevent such alterations of them. The purpose of this observation is to review the alterations of cytoplasmic organells and nucleus and to attemp to study the relationship between structural and biochemical changes of hepatic cells, especially of those structures related to the lysosomes. DL-Ethionine (1 ㎎/ gm of body weight) was injected intraperitoneally to 24 rate and adenine sulfate (32㎎) was rsinjected intraperitoneally to the half of them 6hrs after initial injection. Control groups were received saline only, ethionine and saline, or saline and aden ine respectively. Each group of animals was killed at 3,6,9 and 12 hrs after the last injection respectively and the livers were taken from the rats. Sections of the tissue were observed under the light and election microscopes: The liver cells showed slight cloudy swelling in early time and progresssively severer in later time, but milder in adenine treated group. On the electron microscopical levels, liver cells showed dilatation of endoplasmic reticulum, shedding of ribosome, swelling and partial disruption of mitochondria, and increase of various types of the lysosomes. Most of the lysosomes in early stage were primary type but changed to secondary type in later time. Adenine injection induced production of new primary lysosome and recovering of the alterations of cytoplasmic organells. The results suggest that adenine can reverse ethionine induced alterations of the organells but already injured organells go on destruction by newly formed lysosomes.

        In this paper, applications of adaptive fuzzy controller to position control of flexible beam are considered. When a flexible beam is rotated by a motor through the fixed end, transverse vibration may occur. The architecture and learning underlying adaptive networks based fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) is presented, which is a fuzzy inference system implemented in the framework of adaptive networks. By using a hybrid learning procedure, the proposed ANFIS can construct an input-output mapping based on both human knowledge and stipulated input-output data pairs. Therefor, a dynamic model for a flexible beam is derived, and then a comparative analysis was made with before learning and after learning adaptive fuzzy controller through an simulation. The results are presented to illustrate the advantages and improved performance of the proposed position control cver the after learning adaptive fuzzy controller.

        Analysis of Parameters Affecting the Surface Roughness in Sapphire Wafer Polishing Using Nanocrystalline-Microcrystalline Multilayer Diamond CVD Pellets

        To reduce the processing cost and to polish high hardness substrates, a change from the currently used slurry process to the process using fixed abrasive grain is required. Therefore, studying the fixed abrasive tool to improve yield and process stability is important. In this study, a chemical vapor deposition (CVD) diamond pellet with an artificially controlled contact area was applied to replace the slurry polishing process. The CVD diamond pellets were prepared by depositing a microcrystalline diamond on silicon nitride ceramic substrates using a hot filament CVD technique and preparing a multi-layered pellet in which a nanocrystalline diamond (NCD) was deposited. The influences of the real contact area of CVD diamond on the surface roughness and material removal rate were studied using scanning electron microscopy, a stylus profilometer, atomic force microscopy, and Raman spectroscopy before and after polishing. In addition, the polishing effect of the sapphire wafer was analyzed and predicted by modeling the roughness and the real contact area of the diamond CVD pellet. To analyze the polishing characteristics according to changes in the area, the surface roughness of the NCD was varied from 65 to 115 nm, and the polishing was evaluated. The results showed that compared with the process using diamond slurry, the multilayer diamond pellet had a higher material removal rate and the same surface roughness and total thickness variation.

        Effect of the Properties of Uniformly Patterned Micro-Diamond Pellets on Sapphire Grinding

        If nanoscale roughness of machined surfaces is to be achieved, a machining method using a ductile grinding mode is required. If this using a diamond tool is to be realized, uniform patterned micro-diamond pellets must be produced on the tool surface. In this study, uniform patterned micro-diamond pellets were fabricated by using Lithographie Galvanoformung Abformung (LIGA) technology combined with electroplating technology. The effect of the size of the patterned diamond pellet on sapphire wafer grinding was analyzed using a scanning electron microscope and a surface profiler after grinding. As a result, 12 uniformly patterned micro-diamond pellets were fabricated, and a sapphire substrate was ground to obtain a surface roughness (Ra) of 5 nm or less.

        The multiaxial fatigue test under in-phase and out-of-phase load were performed to study what degradation phenomenon affects fatigue life with virgin and 3600 hrs degraded materials. The various kind of fatigue data for fatigue life prediction were acquired under pure axial and pure torsional load of fully reversal condition. The models which was investigated are: 1) the von Mises equivalent strain range, 2) the critical shear plane approach method of Fatemi-Socie(FS) parameter, 3) the modified Smith-Watson-Topper(SWT) parameter. The result showed that, fatigue life by material degradation are decreased and life prediction which was used the FS parameter is not conservative but the best result.
